𝑺𝒊𝒎𝒊𝒍𝒂𝒓 𝑺𝒕𝒐𝒓𝒚𝒍𝒊𝒏𝒆𝒔 𝑩𝒖𝒕 𝑮𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒕 𝑨𝒄𝒕𝒊𝒏𝒈 - About Three Korean Series

I know, I know... More kdramas but you won't blame me, there are new releases every month and I'm curious to know what new storyline they've come up with. Well, today's blog about my Korean series isn't going to be on recent series I've seen but focusing on three old ones that came to mind recently. I'm almost done seeing an old series I downloaded and I'm like, haven't I seen a series like this before? then I recall two others like it.

They have similar storylines about Human Robots, good characters and displayed great acting. I bet you could guess how these human robot storyline are similar but if not, you can continue to read and find that out. So for this blog, I'll be sharing three Korean series I've seen that I would highly recommend if you want to see some human robots in action hehe.

While I share a bit of the storyline, I'll also share my view and show the sweet and easy similarities they all have. I'd love you to note that I actually love the similarities they have, it is my reason for seeing all of them without the feeling of "I am wasting my time or I'm repeating scenes with different clothing" lol.

Are You Human?

Are You Human? is series released in the year 2018 starring Seo Kang-joon and Gong Seung-yeon. The storyline goes like this... A rich heir got into a fatal accident and went into coma, his mother in attempt to secure his place in the inheritance, creates a robot that looks exactly like him to keep his place until her son wakes up. The robot became so good that it run the company with so much intelligence and began to fall in love.

My thought and the similar story in it!
It's the very first human robot Korean series I saw and I loved everything about it, especially the fact that the robot could be anything and even make a good comedy in a lot of scenes. The similarity comes when the robot begins to act and feel like a human, another is when the other lead keeps getting in situations that tests the abilities of the robot.

I Am Not A Robot

This one was released in the year 2017. I have recently reviewed this series here but I didn't emphasize on the aspect of the human robot in this one. It is because all through the series, the real robot didn't act so much as it was a case of faking a robot to keep contracts. The storyline is like this... A rich guy who has an allergy that limits his interaction with humans gets involved with a robot who turns out to be a human pretending to be robot.

My thought and the similar story in it!
Did you see another similarity there They are mostly rich leads trying to portray that robots are expensive even if it's just a fake lol. The human pretending robot also fell in love in this series but the end is more natural than the other two shared in this post.

My Absolute Boyfriend

Released more recently, in the year 2019 and it's the series I am currently seeing. Yet to finish it but it's definitely a highly recommended from me for many reasons you'll find when you decide to see it. Even though the storyline is far from reality, I love the excitement that comes with it... A special effects makeup artist who got her heart broken gets a delivery of a human robot and it turns out to be a perfect boyfriend robot. The robot began to fall in love with her which it was never programmed to do and the girl also began to feel love again.

Like I said, I'm yet to finish this series but so far, I've not seen any disappointment and it also has the similarity of a robot falling in love and doing a lot more than what humans can do giving intriguing scenes for viewers. The comedy is there too, I also love the character they used to play the robot.

Conclusively, I'll rate all three 7/10 and that is for giving me something similar than isn't so similar. Let me know what you think about these series in the comment section especially if you've seen them already.
