Love Aquarium - Time of the Moon! I was unfamiliar with it but
I'm adding it to my Playlist.

I didn't associate Louis Armstrong with LA Cucaracha. Very interesting!

Wow, we have more and more common interests.
Aquarium is one of my favorite musical groups.
Boris Grebenshchikov loved to come to our city, to Kirov. He always said Vyatka.
His last time in our city was on February 14, 2022. He liked to come on Valentine's Day and arrange a concert. Now he lives outside of Russia. It's a sad story.

Yeah, in 2000-es I paid a lot of my attention to that band. My wife was a huge fan - she recorded up to 15 bootlegs (!) of his live recordings. Although I managed to visit only a few of his gigs, and in late 2000-es it was absolutely not the same as it could be in early 90-es or in late 80-es.

😂😂😂 No, I wasn't in the concert hall at the time. :) I was still a student at that time, I became a young dad in the fall, so I didn't have enough money, I had to study and work
In 1991, I listened to Aquarium recordings on a tape recorder. "This train is on fire" was probably the best thing for me back then.

A-aaaa! Ok then. In 1991 I wasnt acquainted with this band at all. Just listened to one record (officially released on vinyl by Melodiya label) and wasnt impressed. Music like that requires more life experience, I guess. (But I caught up it later, in following years - yet without concert-going experience.) Have a Hive !BEER from me.

Hello there. 'Aquarium' is the oldest rock band of St.Petersburg.
if you got intrested and added it to your playlist, I'd love to point out at those albums first (although the lyrics play the main role in their music, so, I am not sure where you will be getting since they are all in Russian). Aquarium's leader tried to develop his career releasing English record (but it did not work).
So there exist 'Radio Silence' and 'Radio London' LPs which has songs in English.

The best recordings in my opinion are: Radio Afrika (1983), Equinox (1987), Russian Album (1992), Kostroma mon amour (1994)
