Les hablo de Bridgerton, y a propósito de el casi estreno de su 3 temporada este mes, quise hacer una reseña de cada una, empezando obviamente por la primera.

Sinopsis:

Synopsis:
Daphne Bridgerton, the eldest daughter of a family of eight siblings, is presented to the Queen and London high society in an event for which she has been preparing her entire life. Empecemos por los escenarios totalmente impecables inspirados en el siglo 19, Te trasladan a la epoca de carruajes y caballeros, mansiones grandes y lujosas, con doncellas y chaperones, Me metí tanto en la serie que me sentí parte de la historia, viví cada romance y cada tristeza como propia. Aunque no comparto la poca importancia de las mujeres en la sociedad de esa época, dónde solo eran adornos bonitos para lucir. He de reconocer que la serie resalta que las mujeres son un papel fundamental y necesario en cada desicion. Como La reina Charlotte de Inglaterra, quien sola lleva las riendas de todo un reino, trás la oculta enfermedad de Rey, o Lady Violet Bridgerton, quién al morir su esposo mantiene sobria una familia de 8 hijos producto de su amor con el vizconde, y así poder alivianar la responsabilidad que cae sobre los hombros de su hijo mayor Lord Anthony Bridgerton.
Los paisajes son increíbles, quedé enamorada de Aubrey Hall, la casa de campo de la familia Bridgerton, imagino todos los recuerdos en cada muro. Jarrones y detalles todo perfectamente adaptado a la época Victoriana.
Los vestuarios, Dios amo tanto la moda de la época, aunque no podría vivir con tantas capas de ropa, realmente es precioso, impecable, la mayoría de los vestidos tenía el mismo corte, supongo que era la moda, o también porque habia una sola modista para todas la damas.
Ahora sí enfoquemos la atención en los personajes principales que son Daphne Bridgerton interpretado Phoebe Harriet Dynevor actriz Británica, y Simon Basset, Duque de Hastings, interpretado por Regé-Jean Page también actor británico. El tipo de hombre rebelde con infancia difícil en negación por asumir sus responsabilidades sociales y una doncella con educación perfecta, siempre sobria, delicada e impecable. Era obvio que tenían que terminar juntos, siempre he pensado lo difícil que era ser mujer en esos dias, había tanta presión en estar perfecta y ser aceptada. Daphne no la tiene nada fácil y al convertirse en el diamante de la reina es el foco principal del condado. Quizá no terminaron justos por desicion propia (no quiero hacer tanto spoiler) Pero cuando existe tanto amor y deseo hasta lo que parece imposible se convierte en realidad, sin dejar de lado que fue la Duquesa quién tomó fuertes decisiones para hacerlo funcionar y vivir la vida para que arduamente había sido educada. Siento que la elección de esta pareja fue demasiado acertada, había demasiada química entre ellos y todo parecía fluir naturalmente.
Mis personajes favoritos:
Eloise Bridgerton
Interpretado por Claudia Jessie: La hija rebelde que quiere comerse el mundo en lugar de ser una doncella más. En muchos aspectos me sentí identificada con Eloise, siempre tiene decisiones propias, le gusta estudiar, y ve el mundo de una forma diferente, me encanto que la actriz siempre estaba como distraída y con aires de incredulidad ante las exigencia de pertenecer a una de las familias más importantes de la época. Y sobre todo que su madre era demasiado comprensiva al respecto y no le exigía tanto como a la futura Duquesa.
Su amistad con Pen:
(Penelope Featherington) me resultaba tan bonita, siendo sincera siento que eran tan unidas que no era necesario guardar secretos, siento que Eloise lo hubiese aceptado y quizá hasta hubiese añadidos ideas en tan gran acontecimiento. Pen, siempre era la chica de la esquina, quien sospecharía de ella. Sin duda una mujer preciosa en busca de aceptación, con un amor imposible, quien solo tiene a su mejor amiga a favor. Ya quiero que llegue la tercera temporada para hablar más a fondo sobre ella.
Eloise y Benedict Bridgerton:
La complicidad entre este para de hermanos me fascina, son los diferentes de la familia, una aferrada a la igualdad de géneros y el otro un artista silencioso, siempre apoyándose y cubriéndose las espaldas 😍😍
Otros personajes que llamaron bastante mi atención fueron:
•Lord Anthony Bridgerton y su complicada vida al ser el vizconde.
•Simon Basset: Su picardía y serenidad, un hombre demasiado atractivo, amé su personaje.
•Lady Agatha Danbury: La viuda, amiga de la reina que todo lo ve, al principio sospeché de ella como Lady Whistledown y creo que no fui la única.
Review
Let's start with the totally impeccable settings inspired by the 19th century. They take you back to the time of carriages and knights, large and luxurious mansions, with maids and chaperones. I got so into the series that I felt part of the story, I lived every romance and each sadness as your own. Although I do not share the lack of importance of women in the society of that time, where they were only pretty decorations to show off. I must admit that the series highlights that women play a fundamental and necessary role in every decision. Like Queen Charlotte of England, who alone holds the reins of an entire kingdom, after the King's hidden illness, or Lady Violet Bridgerton, who, when her husband dies, keeps a sober family of 8 children as a result of her love with the viscount, and thus being able to alleviate the responsibility that falls on the shoulders of his eldest son Lord Anthony Bridgerton.
The landscapes are incredible, I fell in love with Aubrey Hall, the Bridgerton family's country house, I imagine all the memories on each wall. Vases and details all perfectly adapted to the Victorian era.
The costumes, God I loved the fashion of the time so much, although I couldn't live with so many layers of clothing, it really is beautiful, impeccable, most of the dresses had the same cut, I guess it was the fashion, or also because there was only one dressmaker for all ladies.
Now let's focus our attention on the main characters, who are Daphne Bridgerton, played by Phoebe Harriet Dynevor, a British actress, and Simon Basset, Duke of Hastings, played by Regé-Jean Page, also a British actor. The type of rebellious man with a difficult childhood in denial about assuming his social responsibilities and a maiden with a perfect education, always sober, delicate and impeccable. It was obvious that they had to end up together, I have always thought how difficult it was to be a woman in those days, there was so much pressure to be perfect and be accepted. Daphne doesn't have it easy at all and by becoming the queen's diamond she is the main focus of the county. Maybe they didn't end fairly by their own decision (I don't want to give so much spoiler) But when there is so much love and desire, even what seems impossible becomes a reality, without leaving aside the fact that it was the Duchess who made strong decisions to make it work and live life. for which she had been arduously educated. I feel that the choice of this couple was too right, there was too much chemistry between them and everything seemed to flow naturally.

Played by Claudia Jessie: The rebellious daughter who wants to take on the world instead of being just another maid. In many aspects I felt identified with Eloise, she always makes her own decisions, she likes to study, and sees the world in a different way. I loved that the actress was always distracted and with an air of disbelief at the demands of belonging to one of the most important families of the time. And above all, her mother was too understanding about it and did not demand as much from her as she did from the future Duchess.
His friendship with Pen:
(Penelope Featherington) seemed so pretty to me, to be honest I feel like they were so close that it wasn't necessary to keep secrets, I feel like Eloise would have accepted it and maybe even added ideas to such a big event. Pen, she was always the girl in the corner, who would suspect her. Without a doubt, a beautiful woman in search of acceptance, with an impossible love, who only has her best friend in favor. I already want the third season to arrive to talk more about it in depth.
Eloise and Benedict Bridgerton:
The complicity between this pair of brothers fascinates me, they are the different ones in the family, one clinging to gender equality and the other a silent artist, always supporting each other and covering each other's backs 😍😍
Other characters that caught my attention were:
•Lord Anthony Bridgerton and his complicated life as the Viscount. •Simon Basset: His mischief and serenity, a very attractive man, I loved his character.
•Lady Agatha Danbury: The Dowager, all-seeing friend of the Queen, I initially suspected her as Lady Whistledown and I don't think I was the only one.
