The title is a bit trite, there have been a few movies inspired by the ruthless killer, however, the premise of the story about the journalistic act gives a special boom to the production. They knew how to handle the tension in each advance, and it catches the viewer with great ease, I will not deny that Keira Knightley as the protagonist is what gives more value to the film, but the balance in all its aspects is what gives an ideal result.

The plot is set in the year 1960, when the city of Boston is shocked by a series of brutal murders of young women. I loved it, I have commented before but I am a big fan of the genre, and especially the biographical stories of how killers are caught, before I had the dream of studying to be a cop because of the influence of this content that I consumed even in literature, but I ended up studying journalism. So this film touched certain emotional fibers in me, about the importance of an investigation where you leave your skin, and make a space in the world of men.

Me encantó, lo he comentado antes pero soy gran fan del género, y sobretodo las historias biográficas de cómo atrapan a asesinos, antes tenía el sueño de estudiar para ser policia por la influencia de este contenido que consumía hasta en la literatura, pero terminé estudiando periodismo. Así que esta película me tocó ciertas fibras emocionales, sobre la importancia de una investigación en dónde te dejas el pellejo, y hacerse de un espacio en el mundo de los hombres.

Really the performance of the main characters, the evocation of the time, the opening to a female path in journalism that somehow influenced my present, the sum of all the facts gave me great satisfaction.

Realmente la actuación de los personajes principales, la evocación de la época, la apertura a un camino femenil en el periodismo que de cierta manera influenció mi actualidad, la suma de todos los hechos me dieron una gran satisfacción.

The ending left me a little weak, an additional scene could have worked better, but it is balanced by the final piece about what happened to those women who lived the events in their own flesh.
