Bienvenidos a mi blog :). La serie que traigo a continuación la tenía en mi lista de Netflix pero por alguna razón le daba largas y no terminaba de decidirme a verla. ¡Qué bueno que un día simplemente la puse! Tiene ocho episodios fáciles de seguir, mucha acción y una historia lo suficientemente buena. Todo esto combinado con buenas actuaciones que logran sumergirte en ese mundo y hace que te entren ganas de seguir viéndola.
Y es que eso es lo que me sorprendió, que logró hacerme quedar en un solo sitio (a veces soy un poco inquieta) y que quise terminarla porque necesitaba saber lo que ocurriría y no por obligación de no dejar algo inconcluso.

Welcome to my blog :). The series I'm bringing next I had it on my Netflix list but for some reason I was dragging my feet and couldn't decide to watch it. Good thing one day I just put it on! It has eight easy to follow episodes, lots of action and a good enough story. All this combined with good performances that manage to immerse you in that world and makes you want to keep watching it.
And that's what surprised me, that it managed to make me stay in one place (sometimes I'm a little restless) and that I wanted to finish it because I needed to know what would happen and not out of obligation not to leave something unfinished.

Lo primero que voy a mencionar es que es una serie de drama, suspenso, crimen. Si te gustan las historias policíacas, de asesinatos, y más aún, de venganza, esta es una buena opción para elegir.
El guión fue escrito por Kim Ba-da y la serie dirigida por Kim Jin-min. Se estrenó en el año 2021 en Netflix y tiene como protagonista a Han So-hee, que, cabe decir, hizo un muy buen trabajo. También aparece Park Hee-soon haciendo un papel importante como el jefe de una red de narcotráfico y Ahn Bo-hyun como policía.
The first thing I will mention is that it is a drama, suspense, crime series. If you like crime stories, murder stories, and even more, revenge stories, this is a good one to choose.
The script was written by Kim Ba-da and the series directed by Kim Jin-min. It premiered in 2021 on Netflix and stars Han So-hee, who, it must be said, did a very good job. Also appearing is Park Hee-soon playing an important role as the head of a drug trafficking ring and Ahn Bo-hyun as a cop.
La historia gira en torno a Oh HyeJin, una chica que presencia el asesinato de su padre y decide averiguar quién fue el autor del crimen para vengarse. Fiel a su objetivo, se vuelve una persona temeraria, distante, sin un propósito para vivir más que para cumplir con lo que un día se propuso.
Por esto se une al jefe de la red de drogas más importante de Corea, que le da las herramientas para aprender a sobrevivir en un mundo lleno de agresión, locura y traición. Es con su ayuda también que logra infiltrarse en la policía, donde consigue un puesto estratégico para beneficiarlo y sobre todo, para encaminarse hacia la identidad del hombre que está buscando.
Este juego de ir y venir solo hace que que camine por un piso tambaleante que puede destruirse en cualquier momento.
The story revolves around Oh HyeJin, a girl who witnesses the murder of her father and decides to find out who the perpetrator was in order to take revenge. True to her goal, she becomes a reckless, aloof person with no purpose to live for other than to accomplish what she once set out to do.
This is why he joins the head of the most important drug ring in Korea, who gives him the tools to learn how to survive in a world full of aggression, madness and betrayal. It is also with his help that he manages to infiltrate the police, where he gets a strategic position to benefit him and, above all, to lead him to the identity of the man he is looking for.
This back-and-forth game only makes you walk on a wobbly floor that can be destroyed at any moment.
Me gustan mucho las series coreanas que manejan este estilo. Hasta ahora, todas las que he visto (y han sido más que unas cuantas) no me han defraudado. Por el contrario, me han dejado bastante satisfecha. Sin embargo, he notado que suelen tener 16 episodios mínimo, y esto no es siempre favorecedor.
Esta tiene solo ocho episodios, lo justo y necesario. No sentí que tuviera nada de relleno, solo acción y tal vez por esto da la sensación de que todo pasa muy rápido. No diré que es la historia más original del mundo, porque no es la primera vez (ni la última) que veremos a un protagonista vengador al que no le importa nada, un claro ejemplo de ello es John Wick, o incluso La gloria, otra serie coreana que maneja matices parecidos, pero sus personajes y lo que buscan la vuelve única e interesante.
Una de las cosas que más me gustó es el cambio brusco de personalidad que da Oh Hye-jin, es decir, la protagonista. El cómo sacrifica su vida (aún dándose cuenta de ello) por algo que cree que le dará paz, y más allá de eso, el sospechar que esa paz no la va a conseguir y aún así, continuar, por obstinación, por ira, porque es algo que tiene que hacer.
Algunas personas deciden simplemente ser buenas, superar el dolor, afrontar la pérdida, continuar con sus vidas, pero vamos, vinimos a ver otro tipo de historia. La historia de estos personajes rotos, que se dedican en cuerpo y alma a su obsesión, que ya no distinguen entre el bien y el mal, que van perdiendo la vida entre sinsabores y amarguras y cosechando desgracias a su paso. Estos personajes que no conocen límites, que te hacen preguntarte hasta dónde son capaces de caer con tal de conseguir lo que quieren.
I really like Korean series that handle this style. So far, all the ones I have watched (and there have been more than a few) have not let me down. On the contrary, they have left me quite satisfied. However, I have noticed that they usually have 16 episodes minimum, and this is not always flattering.
This one has only eight episodes, just enough. I didn't feel it had any filler, just action and maybe because of this it gives the feeling that everything happens very fast. I won't say it's the most original story in the world, because it's not the first time (nor the last) that we will see an avenging protagonist who doesn't care about anything, a clear example of this is John Wick, or even The Glory, another Korean series that handles similar nuances, but its characters and what they are looking for makes it unique and interesting.
One of the things I liked the most is the abrupt personality change Oh Hye-jin, i.e. the protagonist, makes. How she sacrifices her life (even realizing it) for something she thinks will give her peace, and beyond that, the suspicion that she won't get that peace and still continue, out of stubbornness, out of anger, because it's something she has to do.
Some people simply decide to be good, to overcome the pain, to face the loss, to go on with their lives, but come on, we came to see another kind of story. The story of these broken characters, who dedicate themselves body and soul to their obsession, who no longer distinguish between good and evil, who are losing their lives amidst heartaches and bitterness and reaping misfortunes in their path. These characters who know no limits, who make you wonder how far they are capable of falling in order to get what they want.
Para mí estos protagonistas son más interesantes que los “normales”, porque buscan venganza, pero se dan cuenta que para lograrla se tienen que autodestruir, porque el odio no da paz, ni tranquilidad, y porque matar no es tan sencillo como parece, no para las personas que tienen alma. Ya con esto la serie atrapa, te quedas a preguntarte si la protagonista está dispuesta a convertirse en un monstruo con tal de lograr lo que quiere.
Lo curioso es que por lo general no. Los protagonistas no van más allá y te dan un montón de explicaciones reflexivas del por qué. Pero en este sentido esta historia podría sorprender.
De igual modo esta serie logra hacerte sentir presión o nerviosismo al ver a la protagonista ir de mundo en mundo, es decir, del mundo de la mafia hasta el de la policía y viceversa, porque las sospechas no tardan en venir, y es súper delicado todo esto de la lealtad. Esto hace que siempre estés alerta, con las emociones a flor de piel.
For me these protagonists are more interesting than the "normal" ones, because they seek revenge, but they realize that to achieve it they have to destroy themselves, because hatred does not give peace, nor tranquility, and because killing is not as simple as it seems, not for people who have a soul. With this, the series traps you, you are left to wonder if the protagonist is willing to become a monster in order to get what she wants.
The funny thing is that they usually don't. The protagonists don't go any further and give you a lot of thoughtful explanations as to why. But in that sense this story might surprise.
In the same way, this series manages to make you feel pressure or nervousness when you see the protagonist go from world to world, that is, from the world of the mafia to the police and vice versa, because suspicions do not take long to come, and it is super delicate all this about loyalty. This makes you always on your toes, with emotions running high.
Por supuesto, no podían faltar los momentos emotivos que en una ocasión me hicieron lagrimear y que en otro momento me rompió el corazón por completo, desde ahí nada fue lo mismo (drama), pero no quiero hacer spoilers.
Todo esto no hubiese sido posible sin las buenas actuaciones que tuvo la serie, el buen manejo de la historia que llevaron y la bonita fotografía y estética que hubo. Que la protagonista fuera mujer, (en un mundo de hombres) me parece interesante, porque por lo general debería ser más frágil y aún así, logra imponerse. También resultaron bastante entretenidas e impactantes en cierto momento, algunas escenas de pelea.
Me quedé con una buena impresión de esta historia, y si me preguntan si la vería de nuevo, pues sí. Volvería a hacerlo. Si llegaste hasta aquí, gracias por leer :)
Of course, I could not miss the emotional moments that once made me cry and another time broke my heart completely, from then on nothing was the same (drama), but I don't want to make spoilers.
All this would not have been possible without the good performances of the series, the good handling of the story and the beautiful photography and aesthetics. The fact that the main character was a woman (in a world of men) is interesting to me, because in general she should be more fragile and yet she manages to assert herself. Some of the fight scenes were also quite entertaining and shocking at some point.
I was left with a good impression of this story, and if you ask me if I would watch it again, well, yes. I would do it again. If you made it this far, thanks for reading :)

Estuvo muy buena tu reseña una pregunta cuales paginas se pueden sacar fotos gratuitas para publicar y hacer una reseña yo tambien.
Hola, hay páginas que son bancos de fotos gratuitas, por lo general suelo usar mucho Unplash, pero en el caso de las películas y libros uso Pinterest porque es donde se consigue las fotos de una obra en específico, igual tienes que poner la fuente de donde sacaste las imágenes y con eso basta, que en este caso son los links de las imágenes, yo los puse al final con numeritos... Otra idea es tomar capturas de pantallas a la peli o serie y añadir en el post que hiciste eso, no creo vayas a tener problemas, en mi caso se me complica hacerlo así porque por lo general las plataformas no me dejan sacar captura. :)
