🔀 Confieso que ha sido difícil elegir pues soy un fiel y fervoroso amante del cine. Después que leí "Cómo se cuenta un cuento", libro que recoge los talleres que impartió Gabriel García Márquez en la Escuela Internacional de cine de La Habana, mi interés por el séptimo arte aumentó.

✍️ Si hay una película que marcó mi vida como escritor es sin dudas, El lado oscuro del corazón de Eliseo Subiela. Aunque me gustaba la lectura desde niño, arropado con los libros que mi abuela me compraba, fue con esta película que me convertí en el hombre que soy.

Como toda obra de arte tiene defensores y detractores. La luz acusa a una melancolía que se baña en las calles de Buenos Aires y se va apoderando del espectador de una manera en que no hay salida, o la odias o la amas.

Y es que en esa ciudad vi mucho cine. Varias veces caminé las estupendas 24 cuadras de ida y vuelta que separaban la sala oscura de mi beca estudiantil. El cine sembró en mi mente la infinita nostalgia que las cosas van dejando en nosotros.

Seguramente fue en el cine Cuba, en la calle Enramadas en Santiago donde la vi por primera vez. Dramática y surrealista, escrita y dirigida por Eliseo Subiela, y protagonizada por Darío Grandinetti, Sandra Ballesteros, Nacha Guevara, André Mélançon y Jean Pierre Reguerraz, la cinta se estrenó el 21 de mayo de 1992.

Los puristas han dicho que no es recomendada para personas que se inician a escribir Poesía. Yo diría exactamente lo contrario y hablo desde mi propia experiencia. Un poeta, un escritor tiene como esencia y materia prima para sus versos, exactamente el lado más oscuro de su corazón.
