While I was taking some time off to continue with my duties, a friend recommended watching a series of short films that he had recently come across. This friend and I always used to watch movies and shorts together and despite the distance we agreed to watch a movie at a distance or to recommend one and then talk about it. On this occasion it was these cinematographic tapes that caught our attention.

The first one I saw was The Swan. This short film made by Wes Anderson, based on the stories of Roald Dahld. It is based on a man who recounts when he was a child and how two ruffian children harassed and tormented him to the point of gagging him on a train track; But when they see that he comes out unharmed, they intimidate a swan in his nest.

I really liked the peculiar and eccentric style of Wes Anderson to make this short, the scenery and humor went hand in hand managing to entertain me at all times. As for example the changes of sliding scenarios, the combination of colors, the actors narrating and looking towards the camera giving that touch of humor to the story.

I understand that it has shorter ones like this, some longer than others.
Like for example, The Wonderful Story of Henry Sugar, which was the next fil I saw. Like the previous one, this work that consists of more than every hour I am hooked once again by visual art. In addition to that, the cast that made it up I wanted to see it. Having popular figures such as Benedict Cumberbatch, Ralph Fiennes, among others.

In this other story they tell us what was the life of a rich man, who hears about the life of a guru who has the incredible ability to see without opening his eyes and thanks to this decides to learn that wonderful technique so he can win in bookmakers.

I don't want to tell you much about these shorts, since the idea is that you see it for yourselves. It is certainly worth appreciating these works of art full of a peculiar British humor. Mientras me tomaba un tiempo de descanso para continuar con mis deberes, un amigo me recomienda ver una serie de cortometrajes que él se había topado hace poco. Este amigo y yo siempre acostumbrábamos de ver películas y cortos juntos y a pesar de la distancia nos poníamos de acuerdo para ver una peli a distancia o a recomendarnos alguna y después hablar sobre ella. En esta ocasión fueron estas cintas cinematográficas la que llamaron nuestra atención.

La primera que vi fue El cisne. Este cortometraje realizado por Wes Anderson, basados en los cuentos de Roald Dahld. Se basa en un hombre que relata cuando era niño y como dos chiquillos rufianes lo acosaron y atormentaron a tal punto de amordazarlo en unas vías de un tren; Pero al ver que sale ileso amedrentan contra un cisne en su nido.

Me gustó mucho el estilo peculiar y excéntrico de Wes Anderson para realizar dicho corto, la escenografía y el humor iban de la mano logrando entretenerme en todo momento. Como por ejemplo los cambios de escenarios corredizos, la combinación de colores, los actores narrando y mirando hacia la cámara dándole ese toque de humor a la historia.

Tengo entendido que tiene más cortos como este, unos más largos que otros.
Como por ejemplo, La Maravillosa Historia de Henry Sugar, el cual fue el siguiente fil que vi. Al igual que el anterior esta obra que consta de más de madia hora me engancho una vez más por el arte visual. Adicional a eso el elenco que lo conformaba me animos a querer verlo. Teniendo a figuras populares como a Benedict Cumberbatch, Ralph Fiennes, entre otros.

En esta otra historia nos narran lo que fue la vida de un hombre rico, el cual escucha sobre la vida de un gurú quien tiene la increíble habilidad de ver sin abrir sus ojos y gracias a esto decide aprender aquella técnica tan maravillosa para así poder ganar en casas de apuestas.

No quiero contarles mucho de estos cortos, ya que la idea es que la vean por ustedes mismos. Sin duda vale la pena apreciar estas obras de arte llenas de un peculiar humor británico. Cuando pueda veré el resto de los cortometrajes para darles mi recomendación. Y a quienes ya los hayan visto pueden dejarme sus comentarios para saber que les pareció.
