My opinion about a funny movie: Forgetting Sarah Marshall [Esp/Eng]

Hello, friends. Today I want to talk to you about a movie I saw recently and that really made me laugh and have a very entertaining time. Despite being from 2008, it's the first time I've seen it and it hides a sad and memorable reflection on heartbreak. I am referring to: Forgetting Sarah Marshall.

Since my last post in this lovely community, I had not found a film that pleased me and touched me, as this one did. At first it gave me the slight impression that it would be a simple comedy, though it would soon raise its standard.

Desde mi última publicación en esta encantadora comunidad, no había encontrado una película que me complaciera y que me llegara, como esta lo hizo. Al principio me dio la ligera impresión que sería una comedia simple, aunque muy pronto subiría su estándar.

The story follows Peter Bretter, played by the brilliant Jason Segel, who after being dumped by his famous girlfriend, Sarah Marshall, played by Kristen Bell, decides to take a vacation in Hawaii to get over the breakup. And coincidentally he meets Sarah and her new boyfriend at the same hotel. From here is where the story gets good.

La historia sigue a Peter Bretter, interpretado por el genial Jason Segel, quien después de ser abandonado por su famosa novia, Sarah Marshall, interpretada por Kristen Bell, decide tomar unas vacaciones en Hawái para superar la ruptura. Y casualmente se encuentra con Sarah y su nuevo novio en el mismo hotel. A partir de aquí es donde se pone buena la historia.

One thing I loved about this movie is that style of entertaining comedy with uncomfortable situations in a funny way. Jason Segel has a unique humor and his portrayal of a person trying to get over a breakup is so realistic that even if you haven't been through something like this. You feel connected to this character, and also with a humor that manages to make you identify, or at least empathize with him.

The supporting characters give it great strength. Mila Kunis plays Rachel, who manages to have a chemistry with Peter that I've seen in few movies. Russell Brand does a great role as Aldous Snow, playing a British rocker and Sarah's lover. His role is more than convincing, I had the need to look him up on the internet, because I actually thought he was a British musician.

Algo que me encantó de esta película es ese estilo de comedia entretenida con situaciones incómodas de una manera divertida. Jason Segel tiene un humor único y su interpretación de una persona que intenta superar una ruptura es tan realista que, incluso si no has pasado por algo así. Te sientes conectado con este personaje, y además con un humor que logra que te identifiques, o al menos sientas empatía con él.

Los personajes secundarios le dan una fuerza grandiosa. Mila Kunis interpreta a Rachel, quien logra tener una química con Peter, que en pocas películas he visto. Russell Brand hace un gran papel como Aldous Snow, interpretando un rockero británico y amante de Sarah. Su papel es más que convincente, tuve la necesidad de buscarlo en internet, porque en realidad pensé que era un músico británico.

The script is very well done. It is not very complex, but very well done, leading to combine in an adequate way the romance with the comedy. It makes you not want to miss any scene, so you are sure to have an entertaining time.

This film production addresses issues such as personal growth and situations that may exist during a divorce. All this in the midst of a very well done humor. And what to speak of Hawaii, a beautiful place with the best views and beaches for a movie.

El guión está muy bien realizado. No es muy complejo, pero muy bien logrado, llevando a conjugar de una forma adecuada el romance con la comedia. Hace que no quieras perderte ninguna escena, por lo que es seguro que vas a pasar un momento entretenido.

Esta producción cinematográfica aborda temas como el crecimiento personal y situaciones que pueden existir durante un divorcio. Todo esto en medio de un humor muy bien realizado. Y para que hablar de Hawái, un lugar precioso con las mejores vistas y playas para una película.
