Saludos queridos amigos de #hive, en el último mes me he dispuesto a mirar una larga lista de series y películas para ocupar mi tiempo libre, y decidí que los iré compartiendo en forma de reseña con ustedes paulatinamente, iniciando hoy con la reseña de una serie un poco extraña a mi parecer, la cual tenía prevista desde hace aproximadamente 2 años ver pero que siempre se me olvidaba. Honestamente una vez que empecé a verla decidí terminarla para no dejarla inconclusa, pero, no fue exactamente porque me gustase que la terminé, ya que esta serie en realidad no tiene pies ni cabeza, así que es mi deber ahora darles a través de mi blog una reseña para que no pierdan su tiempo viéndola.

Cabe destacar que no estoy acostumbrada a redactar artículos negativos sobre trabajos cinematográficos ya que en su totalidad los trabajos que he mirado hasta la fecha han sido aceptables (a excepción de este) y por lo general las críticas son muy leves, pero bueno, siempre hay una primera vez para todo, sin más preámbulos iniciaré dándoles una breve reseña sobre la serie en cuestión y mis impresiones.

Greetings dear friends of #hive , in the last month I have wanted to watch a long list of series and movies to occupy my free time, and I decided that I will be sharing them in review form with you gradually, starting today with the review of a series a little strange in my opinion, which I had planned for about 2 years to see but I always forgot. Honestly once I started watching it I decided to finish it so as not to leave it unfinished, but, it wasn't exactly because I liked it that I finished it, since this series really has no head or tail, so it is my duty now to give you through my blog a review so you don't waste your time living it.

It should be noted that I am not used to write negative articles about film works since all the works I have watched so far have been acceptable (except for this one) and usually the reviews are very mild, but well, there is always a first time for everything, without further ado I will start by giving you a brief review of the series in question and my impressions.

Dicha serie lleva por nombre Insatiable, y es protagonizada por la famosa actriz de Disney Debby Ryan, la historia está basada en la vida de la adolescente Patty Bladel, una chica que desde muy pequeña sufrió bullying debido a su peso, y su vida no fue la mejor durante su niñez dado a que creció sin conocer a su padre y al lado de una madre adicta que comúnmente se encontraba ausente de casa, Patty solo tenía a una buena amiga y lidiaba en soledad con los problemas de la adolescencia.

La vida de Patty cambia luego de que gracias a un accidente ésta se viera imposibilitada de comer solidos (estuvo alrededor de 3 meses solo consumiendo líquidos) lo cual provocó una exorbitante pérdida de peso en la chica volviéndola delgada y físicamente atractiva, es allí cuando conoce a un preparador de reinas que erróneamente piensa que Patty podría ser su boleto al éxito en el mundo de los reinados y es allí cuando todo se complica.

This series is called Insatiable, and is starred by the famous Disney actress Debby Ryan, the story is based on the life of the teenager Patty Bladel, a girl who suffered bullying from a very young age due to her weight, and her life was not the best during her childhood because she grew up without knowing her father and next to an addict mother who was frequently absent from home, Patty only had a good friend and dealt alone with the problems of adolescence.

Patty's life changes after a last accident made her unable to eat solids (she spent about 3 months only consuming liquids) which found an exorbitant weight loss in the girl making her thin and physically attractive, that's when she meets a queen trainer who mistakenly thinks that Patty could be her ticket to success in the world of pageants and that's when everything gets complicated.

Ahora bien, lo que me molesta de esta serie en si misma es la falta de imaginación de los guionistas, ya que existen en ella muchos clichés que aburren al espectador, involucran una serie de estereotipos cansados y antiguos que confunden la razón de ser o el mensaje de esta serie. En principio existen muchos personajes que son insoportables, la mujer rica que presume sin piedad de su vida, cuando todo lo que realmente hace es fingir una vida de mentira, la rubia tonta que funge como villana insaciable e insoportable, la rivalidad infantil entre vecinos que no acaba jamás y la errónea idea de pensar que para ser exitosa debes ser atractiva y delgada.

Por consiguiente, se supone que esta serie está enfocada en la comedia, pero, mi opinión personal es que de comedia no tiene nada en lo absoluto porque aunque a personas defienden a esta serie exponiendo que se trata de un tipo de humor negro, pero, doy fe de que ver cada capítulo es agotante, esta chica intenta vengarse de aquellas personas que la menospreciaron por su obesidad (típico de las historias de superación) el detalle aquí presente es que la forma en la que ella se maneja es muy poco ortodoxa, y de a poco te vas dando cuenta que es una persona retorcida aunque en la historia se quiera demostrar lo contrario.

Now, what bothers me about this series in itself is the lack of imagination of the screenwriters, as there are many clichés in it that bore the viewer, involve a series of tired and old stereotypes that confuse the raison d'être or the message of this series. In principle there are many characters that are unbearable, the rich woman who boasts mercilessly about her life, when all she really does is pretend a pretend life, the dumb blonde who serves as an insatiable and unbearable villain, the childish rivalry between neighbors that never ends and the successful idea of thinking that to be she must be attractive and thin.

Therefore, this series is supposed to be focused on comedy, but, my personal opinion is that comedy has nothing at all because although people defend this series exposing that it is a kind of black humor, but, I can attest that watching each chapter is exhausting, This girl tries to take revenge on those people who belittled her because of her obesity (typical of the stories of overcoming) the detail here is that the way she handles herself is very unorthodox, and little by little you realize that she is a twisted person although the story wants to prove otherwise.

Es importante señalar que esta serie tuvo muchas críticas negativas e incluso numerosas peticiones para su cancelación luego de presentarse apenas la primera temporada, la verdad, esta historia no se parece en nada con la previsualización que te ofrecen en los trailers. Aparte de ser aburrida, tiene giros inesperados que además de verse ridículos se nota que fueron ideas desesperadas de los guionistas para compensar su falta de imaginación, claramente no les funcionó. Por consiguiente, debo recalcar que este contenido en mi opinión no es apropiado para el público adolescente al cual va dirigido inicialmente.

No es una serie que recomendaría, pero, si desean verla les aseguro que compartirán mi opinión de hecho, no soy la única que piensa de esta manera supongo que por esta razón luego de su segunda temporada fue cancelada. Esta serie romantiza muchos escenarios que no están bien, intentando edificar una comedia que no existe y lo peor de todo es que es torturantemente aburrida, les recomiendo no perder su tiempo si deciden verla. It is important to note that this series had many negative reviews and even numerous requests for its cancellation after only the first season was presented, the truth is that this story is nothing like the preview offered in the trailers. Apart from being boring, it has unexpected twists and turns that besides looking ridiculous, you can tell that they were desperate ideas of the screenwriters to compensate for their lack of imagination, clearly it did not work for them. Therefore, I must emphasize that this content in my opinion is not appropriate for the teenage audience to which it is initially directed.

It is not a series that I would recommend, but, if you wish to watch it I assure you that you will share my opinion in fact, I am not the only one who thinks this way I guess for this reason after its second season it was cancelled. This series romanticizes many scenarios that are not right, trying to build a comedy that does not exist and worst of all is that it is torturously boring, I recommend you not to waste your time if you decide to watch it.
