A must-see Japanese and English series / Shogun / (ENG/ESP)
Greetings friends and welcome to my publication.
Several weeks ago I saw many advertisements for a series called Shogun, the truth from the first moment I saw it captured my attention, I really like movies and series of the genre, even more when we talk about Japanese.
This series is very interesting and has a very exciting dramatic story, it tells you a lot about the history and culture of these people, where in our opinion it is too exaggerated, but they have a very strong discipline that only they can understand.

Hace varias semanas veía por muchas publicidades una serie llamada Shogun, la verdad desde el primer momento que la vi capto mi atención, me gustan mucho las películas y series del género, más aún cuando hablamos de japoneses.
Esta serie es muy interesante y tiene una historia dramática muy emocionante, te habla mucho de la historia y cultura de estas personas, donde a nuestro entender es demasiado exagerado, pero ellos tienen una disciplina muy fuerte que solamente ellos pueden entender.
One of the main protagonists of this story is of a very high ranking commander named Yoshii Toranaga (Hioyuki Sanada), a man respected by many and who does not allow anyone to speak ill of his nation or his family.
His story in the series is very interesting, being a man respected by many and very strategic for the war and the economy of his nation, he becomes a threat because of the reputation he has for fighting, although this man does not mess with anyone, his enemies will look for a way to replace him from the position he has as one of the judges and masterminds of an entire country.
The culture of these men to be able to take a whole country forward does not come from a single man as what we know as a president, but there are members of the council capable of making the most important decisions of all nations, and if only one of them does not agree, they can not move forward in the evolution of all nations, for this all must agree for everything to go well.

Uno de los protagonistas principales de esta historia es de un comandante de muy alto rango llamado Yoshii Toranaga (Hioyuki Sanada), un hombre respetado por muchos y que no permite que nadie hable mal de su nación o de su familia.
Su historia en la serie es muy interesante, siendo un hombre respetado por muchos y muy estratégico para la guerra y la economía de su nación, se convierte en una amenaza por la reputación que tiene para la lucha, aunque este hombre no se meta con nadie, sus enemigos buscaran la forma de sustituirlo del cargo que tiene como uno de los jueces y mentes maestras de todo un país.
La cultura de estos hombres para poder llevar a todo un país hacia adelante no viene de un solo hombre como lo que conocemos como un presidente, sino que existen miembros del consejo capaces de tomar las decisiones más importante de todas las naciones, y si tan solo uno de ellos no está de acuerdo, no podrán avanzar en la evolución de todas las naciones, para ello todos deberán de estar de acuerdo para que todo marche bien.
Another of the main characters we will meet in this series is John Blackthorne (Cosmo Jarvis) and Lady Mariko (Anna Sawain).
John is an English pirate who for strange reasons ends up on the border of the Japanese to conquer new worlds (islands) and thus to carry out his ambitions, but his plans begin to change when he meets Toranaga, who must make a decision whether to let him live or use it for their own purposes, the Japanese do not know where he comes from and why he is in their country, but what they are sure is that he comes to cause trouble for the tremendous amount of weapons that are on his ship.
Mariko is the translator of John assigned by Toranaga, since she, in spite of speaking in her native language, also dominates the English language, learned with the Portuguese priests, who maintain a friendship for the merchandise that they receive thanks to the merchant ships that come to their country.

Otro de los personajes principales que conoceremos en esta serie es John Blackthorne (Cosmo Jarvis) y Lady Mariko (Anna Sawain).
John es un pirata inglés que por extrañas razones termina en frontera de los japoneses para poder conquistar nuevos mundos (islas) y así poder llevar a cabo sus ambiciones, pero sus planes comienzan a cambiar cuando conoce a Toranaga, quien deberá de tomar una decisión si dejarlo vivir o usarlo para sus propios propósitos, los japoneses no saben de donde viene y el porqué está en su país, pero de lo que si están seguros es que viene a causar problemas por la tremenda cantidad de armamentos que se encuentran en su barco.
Mariko es la traductora de John asignado por Toranaga, ya que ella, a pesar de hablar en su idioma natal, también domina el idioma inglés, aprendió con los sacerdotes portugueses, quienes mantienen una amistad por las mercancías que reciben gracias a los barcos mercantes que vienen a su país.
The story of these two characters, since they meet, is full of many stumbling blocks, John does not agree with the culture that these people have, because if it is to resort to suicide only for honor, these people do it, fearing for the safety and welfare of Mariko, because they have a strange relationship, but because of their honor they can not be together.
Honestly, these two characters sometimes took away my patience, since the drama generated by these two is very interesting and a little singing, it is something typical of the Japanese, their emotions are very confusing and a mystery, because they can not reveal their emotions by a guideline they have, everything is an honor and there are laws that punish with life to these people.

La historia de estos dos personajes, desde que se conocen, está llena de muchos tropiezos, John no está de acuerdo con la cultura que estas personas tienen, ya que si es de recurrir al suicidio solamente por honor, estas personas lo hacen, temiendo por la seguridad y bienestar de Mariko, debido a que tienen una extraña relación, pero que por su honor no pueden estar juntos.
Sinceramente, estos dos personajes en ocasiones me quitaban la paciencia, ya que el drama que generan estos dos es muy interesante y un poco cantante, es algo típico de los japoneses, sus emociones son muy confusas y un misterio, debido a que no pueden revelar sus emociones por un lineamiento que tienen, todo es un honor y hay leyes que castigan con la vida a estas personas.
Things begin to get out of control when they want to take Toranaga's job for not agreeing with the decisions of others, being a prisoner in his own castle and that if he does not want a war of nations, he must obey even if he does not want to, that is why he decides to defect and leave where he is imprisoned to avoid certain death.
I am very surprised by the mentality that these Japanese have, they are not afraid of death and for them, death is a blessing, since they consider every day of their lives a punishment and a torment, but as much as they want to take their lives they cannot do it without a good reason, many prefer to perish in combat and fall before a worthy opponent than let themselves be killed by a disappointing nation that only seeks the welfare of itself.

Las cosas comienzan a salirse de control cuando quieren quitarle el puesto a Toranaga por no estar de acuerdo con las decisiones de los demás, siendo prisionero en su propio castillo y que si no quiere una guerra de naciones, deberá de obedecer así él no quiera, es por ese motivo que decide desertar y salir de donde lo tienen apresado para evitar una muerte segura.
Me sorprende mucho la mentalidad que tienen estos japoneses, no le tienen miedo a la muerte y para ellos, la muerte es una bendición, ya que considera cada día de sus vidas un castigo y un tormento, pero por mucho que quieran quitarse la vida no pueden hacerlo sin una buena razón, muchos prefieren perecer en combate y caer ante un digno oponente que dejarse matar por una nación decepcionante que solamente busca el bienestar de sí mismo.
I insist, you should watch this series, the drama that generates in each of the chapters is amazing, the first season has a total of 10 chapters, each chapter lasts between 30 to 40 minutes approximately.
The originality of the languages between Japanese and English is amazing, you can listen to both languages and see the translation of what it says, if you do not understand Japanese, the story is extremely interesting and immerses you to see all its chapters.
The series is available in Starplus, it has some strong scenes, if you are not able to stand how they cut the heads of the Japanese and the way they commit suicide, since they always add that originality, you should not watch it if you can't stand that, although it is not all the time.
From the first chapter you watch it you will love it, also because John, being from a different civilization, says a lot of rude things, causing a bit of a joke to the story.

Insisto, debería ver esta serie, el drama que genera en cada uno de los capítulos es sorprendente, la primera temporada tiene un total de 10 capítulo, cada capítulo dura entre 30 a 40 minutos aproximadamente.
La originalidad de los idiomas entre los japoneses y los ingleses es sorprendente, puedes escuchar ambos idiomas y ver la traducción de lo que dice, si no entiendes el japonés, la historia es sumamente interesante y te sumerge a ver todos sus capítulos.
La serie se encuentra disponible en Starplus, tiene escenas un poco fuertes, si no eres capas de soportar como le cortan la cabeza a los japoneses y la manera en la que estos se suicidan, ya que siempre le agregan esa originalidad, no deberías verla si no puedes soportar eso, aunque tampoco es que sea todo el tiempo.
Desde el primer capítulo que lo veas te encantara, también porque John, al ser de una civilización distinta, dice muchas groserías, provocando un poco de chiste a la historia.

I've seen the first chapters and I liked them a lot, I'm already a fan of Asian aesthetics and although I found out about this series late, thank goodness I started it, I'm sure it will end up becoming one of my favorites of the year. ❤️👌🏼
UFF ni que lo digas, será la favorita de muchos, va por muy buen camino y tiene pinta que le sacaran mas temporadas, a menos de que la primera temporada termine dejando a los videntes totalmente satisfecho
La serie se ve interesante. Me llama la atención el toque de gracia de la época, intriga. Japón es gobernada aún por un emperador, pocos saben sobre ello en América. La serie se ve interesante, debe tocar temas de dinastías, familias y nobles.
El tema político y dinástico que tiene es muy bueno, de hecho tiene temas mucho más allá, de hecho la serie te enseña mucha de las creencias y honor que estas personas tienen en su país, sin duda alguna recomiendo que la veas, es muy buena.
Caray, gracias por esta reseña, contigo ya suman 4 las veces que me han recomendado esta serie, así que definitivamente voy a verla.
Por otro lado, te cuento que me relaciono con Japoneses desde hace mucho tiempo, y la verdad me identifico muchísimo con su honorable y respetable cultura. Es fabuloso, ni que decirte que soy honrado con recibir la preferencia por una familia Japonesa a mi arte.
Asi que definitivamente siento que vale la pena mirar esta serie. Yo te recomiendo que veas YuYu Hakusho en Netflix, te va a gustar si eres amante de lo japones, y si jugastes el videojuego, te va a gustar mas todavía esta serie que te nombro.

En efecto, la cutura que tienen los Japoneces es sumamente asombrosa, hay cosas que no estoy de acuerdo, pero bueno siguen siendo las personas mas inteligentes del mundo, me alegro de que mi post te haya inspirado a ver esta gran serie, es demaciado buena, que lo disfrutes.

Si eres amante de la cultura, colores y ambientaciones, sin duda alguna te va a encantar, es demaciado buena.
Tremenda fotografía tiene esa peli por lo que veo, las películas japonesas destacan por su fotografía y ambientación. El honor siempre es uno de los pilares también en esta cultura.
Esta cultura es muy fuerte, por eso ellos mismos emigran a otros países por los lineamientos que tienen, muchos no están en desacuerdo con eso, pero es lo que ha llevado a ese país hacia adelante, la disciplina que tienen es realmente asombrosa.
la cultura oriental tiene códigos de honor muy arraigados. Leí el libro. Voy a buscar la serie. Gracias por la recomendación.
