Some say, digital photography made Photography cheap. One clicks the shutter and the photos could be instantly seen.
I don't (quite) agree, it's more about the story of the photo itself, right? :)

I would agree that digital has made photography more accessible to the masses and in a way turned everyone into a "photographer". Maybe that cheapens it just a little bit. But who cares? Why not open it to the world?

One of the podcasts I listen to was asking the question "What is art?" The conclusion was pretty much "intent". So if someone takes a shot with intent, why not call it art? Just because it's "easy" doesn't make it less valuable.

So true!

I'd just add that it's up to each person. One wants to get better each day by learning new stuff, experimenting, thinking of new projects, trying to actually say something with their visuals, etc. Another one will just use their phone to create a blurry tilted image just to put whatever it comes out to have something for the daily post...

Pretty sure you've seen that one below, still priceless :D
