My opinion about the movie: Drumline [ENG/ESP]
Hola, amigos. En esta ocasión me gustaría compartir con ustedes mi opinión sobre una película que acabo de ver. Una comedia musical que a los amantes de este género les va a encantar. Les hablo de Ritmo Total , de 2002.
Hello, friends. This time I would like to share with you my opinion about a movie I just saw. A musical comedy that lovers of this genre will love. I'm talking about Drumline, from 2002.
Es una película que se centra en Devon, un baterista que gracias a puro talento, gana una beca en la universidad. Aquí es donde todo comienza. Una película juvenil que no cuenta con esa acción a la que podríamos estar acostumbrados, aunque se vuelve emocionante cuando muestra a la banda en acción. No solo pude deleitarme de buena banda sonora, también cuenta con algunos atractivos momentos de baile.
Es innegable que logra atraer hacia la cultura de las bandas universitarias. Los desfiles, los movimientos sincronizados y la música de orquesta son su fuerte. Visualmente es muy llamativa y aunque no soy lo que se dice fan de musicales, esta no está mal. Logra mantenerme la mayor parte del tiempo entretenida. Las coreografías y la música de banda es de lo mejor, no tengo reparo en estos aspectos.
It's a movie that focuses on Devon, a drummer who, thanks to pure talent, wins a scholarship to college. This is where it all starts. A juvenile movie that doesn't have the action we might be used to, even though it becomes exciting when it shows the band in action. I was not only able to enjoy good soundtrack, it also has some attractive moments of dance.
It is undeniable that it manages to attract towards the culture of university bands. The parades, the synchronized movements and the orchestra music are its strong point. It is visually very striking and although I am not exactly a fan of musicals, this one is not bad. It keeps me entertained most of the time. The choreography and the band music is the best, I have no objection in these aspects.
En esta producción cinematográfica está presente el romance, agregándole un toque de fuerza al guión. También podemos ver fuertes mensajes, como son la humildad y trabajo en equipo. Esto se trabajó de una forma bastante acertada, logrando una evolución evidente. Quizás el guión pudo profundizar un poco más en la fuerza emocional del personaje principal.
La banda sonora es de lo mejor, tiene una fuerza que es contagiosa. La mayoría de los temas son desconocidos para mí, pero eso no afecta para nada el poder disfrutarlo de una manera muy divertida. En este aspecto logra encajar perfectamente en el que la ve.
This film production has romance present, adding a touch of strength to the script. We can also see strong messages, such as humility and teamwork. This was worked out quite accurately, achieving an evident evolution. Perhaps the script could have gone a little deeper into the emotional strength of the main character.
The soundtrack is the best, it has a force that is contagious. Most of the themes are unknown to me, but that does not affect the ability to enjoy it in a very fun way. In this respect it perfectly fits into what is seen.
La película no solo trata sobre la música, también tiene enseñanzas positivas que mostrar. Se evidencia la superación de obstáculos y las lecciones que uno va aprendiendo durante el transcurso de la vida.
Esos momentos musicales son la cúspide de la película. No puedo obviar la falta de conexión que existe con los personajes. Sin quitarle mérito, al menos yo, no fui capaz de sentir ningún tipo de afecto emocional con el personaje.
The movie is not only about music, it also has positive lessons to show. The overcoming of obstacles and the lessons one learns during the course of life are evident.
Those musical moments are the peak of the movie. I can't overlook the lack of connection that exists with the characters. Without taking away merit, at least I wasn't able to feel any emotional affection for the character.
Ritmo Total es una excelente propuesta para los amantes de las comedias musicales. Con su trama juvenil esta película logra entretener de forma efectiva con las actuaciones de la banda y coreografías. Está lejos de la perfección, pero a pesar de esto me mantuvo entretenida. Tiene ritmo que ofrecer y mucho entretenimiento. Así que si deseas ver algo que te alegre el día, esta es una buena propuesta.
Drumline is an excellent proposal for lovers of musical comedies. With its juvenile plot this movie manages to effectively entertain with the band's performances and choreographies. It is far from perfect, but despite this it kept me entertained. It has rhythm to offer and a lot of entertainment. So if you want to see something to brighten your day, this is a good proposal.
