[ENG-SPANISH] LOST: SERIES REVIEW
Hello and good evening lovers of the seventh art air and naval accidents have left their mark on the world population and have been taken to the movies in various ways, even many projects have remained in the memory of their observers and .
You will remember the largest maritime accident in history, the Transatlantic RSM Titanic, which occurred on April 14, 1914 and in memory of the victims, several film adaptations were produced which left their mark on the hearts of the viewers.
But today it corresponds the space to a television series that aired in 2010 with a total of 121 episodes and 6 seasons was a proven blockbuster which even today is still a success. The plot of the series develops from a mysterious plane crash which plummets to an island full of mysteries. The flight is split into two halves and both are distributed in different sectors of the island. In their eagerness to get out and return to their previous life, the two groups of survivors had to go through great trials and challenges. They often had to face their own fears and disappointments and even the ghosts of the past.
Personally I really liked the performance of some of the main characters, my favorite for example was Naveen Andrews who played Sayid Jarrah an American ex-military man who had finished his last mission and was about to return home but he did not count on the event and the island put him at the mercy of the island.
In the second group of survivors for example I didn't like the performance of their leader Benjamin Linus played by the actor Michael Emerson. His syonic and manipulative expression has made the other characters of the second group become the opposite of the first in short evil. Giving us to understand that there are good guys and bad guys even if we always want to change the version of the story.
The special effects were quite good for the complex plot that was being woven around the project itself. Effects like black smoke and canive tribes were part of the problems the crew had to deal with and getting to the island alive the next day was more than a challenge.
Personally I really liked the series and luckily thanks to my cousins I was able to finish watching the last seasons because in my country it was only broadcasted until the fourth season. So for those who have not been able to watch it yet, I recommend it especially for the afternoons or evenings when we have nothing to do. Recordarán el mayor accidente marítimo de la historia, el transatlántico RSM Titanic, ocurrido el 14 de abril de 1914 y en memoria de las víctimas se produjeron varias adaptaciones cinematográficas que dejaron huella en el corazón de los espectadores.
Pero hoy corresponde el espacio a una serie de televisión que emitida en 2010 con un total de 121 episodios y 6 temporadas fue un éxito de taquilla probado que aún hoy sigue siendo un éxito. La trama de la serie se desarrolla a partir de un misterioso accidente de avión que se precipita a una isla llena de misterios. El vuelo se divide en dos mitades y ambas se distribuyen en distintos sectores de la isla. En su afán por salir y volver a su vida anterior, los dos grupos de supervivientes tuvieron que pasar por grandes pruebas y desafíos. A menudo tuvieron que enfrentarse a sus propios miedos y decepciones e incluso a los fantasmas del pasado.
Personalmente me gustó mucho la interpretación de algunos de los personajes principales, mi favorito por ejemplo fue Naveen Andrews que interpretó a Sayid Jarrah un ex-militar americano que había terminado su última misión y estaba a punto de volver a casa pero no contó con el suceso y la isla le puso a merced de la isla.
En el segundo grupo de supervivientes por ejemplo no me ha gustado la actuación de su líder Benjamin Linus interpretado por el actor Michael Emerson. Su expresión sìnica y manipuladora ha hecho que los demás personajes del segundo grupo se conviertan en lo contrario del primero en malvados en definitiva. Dándonos a entender que hay buenos y malos aunque siempre queramos cambiar la versión de la historia.
Los efectos especiales fueron bastante buenos para la compleja trama que se tejía en torno al proyecto en sí. Efectos como el humo negro y las tribus canivales eran parte de los problemas con los que tenía que lidiar la tripulación y llegar con vida a la isla al día siguiente era más que un reto.
Personalmente me gustó mucho la serie y por suerte gracias a mis primos pude terminar de ver las últimas temporadas ya que en mi país solo se emitió hasta la cuarta temporada. Así que para los que aún no han podido verla se las recomiendo sobre todo para las tardes o noches que no tenemos nada que hacer. Esta serie estuvo de moda un tiempo, pero nunca llamó mi atención, lo curioso es que he visto otras producciones con ideas similares pero al momento de intentar ver un capítulo de Lost, simplemente no me atrapó. Sin embargo, es genial que la hayas terminado y que gustara 🤩
