Hola a todos, como ustedes saben me gustan mucho las películas de desastres naturales, creo por la esperanza y unión que se ve durante y después del desastre, posiblemente por que mi madre estuvo en la ciudad de México durante el terremoto del 19 de septiembre 1985, el hecho de no saber de ella, solo pude tener esperanza en la vida, hasta que llegaron noticias.

El día de hoy les traigo la review de una película que se estrenó a finales del año pasado: La sociedad de la Nieve. y que esta basada en hechos reales de un trágico accidente aéreo en la cordillera de los Andes en octubre de 1972. He de decir que antes de hacer este post vi la película en compañía de mi familia, y posteriormente me dediqué a buscar otras verisiones, las cuales vi también para ver alguno que otro detalle que pudiera haber faltado en las otras.

Realmente me asombró que la primera película basada en este accidente aéreo es la película mexicana Supervivientes de los andes, de 1976, se encuentra en la plataforma de Prime, en ésta versión fueron cambiados los nombres por respeto a los sobrevivientes, si bien en ese tiempo no existía alta tecnología para hacer los efectos especiales, esta bien realizada, hay una que otra escena muy fuerte y perturbadora que posiblemente era innecesaria, en esta película muestran no solo lo vivido por las victimas, sino también por las familias que los buscaban.

Hello everyone, as you know I really like movies about natural disasters, I think for the hope and unity that is seen during and after the disaster, possibly because my mother was in Mexico City during the earthquake of September 19, 1985, the fact of not knowing of her, I could only hope in life, until news arrived.

Today I bring you the review of a movie that was released at the end of last year: The Snow Society, which is based on the real facts of a tragic plane crash in the Andes Mountains in October 1972. I have to say that before making this post I saw the movie with my family, and later I looked for other versions, which I also saw to see some details that might have been missing in the others.

I was really amazed that the first movie based on this plane crash is the Mexican movie Supervivientes de los andes, from 1976, it is on the Prime platform, in this version the names were changed out of respect for the survivors, although at that time there was no high technology to make the special effects, it is well done, there are some very strong and disturbing scenes that were probably unnecessary, in this movie they show not only what the victims lived, but also the families who were looking for them.

La versión mas recientes y por la cual estoy haciendo esta review es La sociedad de la nieve, una producción española que se encuentra en la plataforma de Netflix desde los primeros días del año, basada en el libro homónimo de Pablo Vierci, que relata el accidente de avión en la cordillera de los andes de 1972, es increíble el parecido de los actores con los sobrevivientes, verdaderamente me trasladó a esa época y lugar, los hermosos paisajes de los andes, la estremecedora sensación del dolor y la esperanza de sobrevivir. En esta versión se usaron los nombres reales y algunos sobrevivientes reales participaron en la realización de la cinta. La fortaleza que demostraron en esos mas de 60 días fue admirable, que me hace pensar no solo en su fortaleza física por ser deportistas, sino que también en su fortaleza espiritual, el sentido de unidad y hermandad.
La fotografía, maquillaje y elementos utilizados le dieron mas realismo a las escenas. Mientras veía la película eran los hechos y cada escena que me tenían absorta, por lo que en ocasiones me perdía un poco con los nombres, el imaginarme que cuando se está tranquilo de pronto pasa algo mas y no llega la ayuda, tomar decisiones que pueden costar vidas y aun así seguían luchando tratando de no decaer.

The most recent version and for which I am making this review is La sociedad de la nieve, a Spanish production that is on the Netflix platform since the first days of the year, based on the book of the same name by Pablo Vierci, which tells the story of the plane crash in the Andes Mountains in 1972, it is incredible the resemblance of the actors with the survivors, it truly moved me to that time and place, the beautiful landscapes of the Andes, the shocking feeling of pain and hope to survive. In this version the real names were used and some real survivors participated in the making of the film. The strength they showed in those 60 days was admirable, which makes me think not only of their physical strength as athletes, but also of their spiritual strength, the sense of unity and brotherhood.
The photography, make-up and elements used gave more realism to the scenes. As I watched the film it was the events and each scene that kept me engrossed, so that sometimes I got a little lost with the names, imagining that when you are calm suddenly something else happens and help does not arrive, making decisions that can cost lives and yet they were still fighting trying not to decay.
