La película se llama "Jules", se encuentra en plataforma de Netflix y la verdad me gustó mucho, trata de un señor de la tercera edad llamado Milton, que tiene una vida solitaria con problemas con la memoria, a quien lo visita su hija de vez en cuando. Su vida cambia cuando en su jardín trasero cae un ovni con un extraterrestre de pasajero al cual acepta como huésped.

Narrado de esta manera parece muy sencilla, pero el fondo verdadero son los sentimientos y la soledad que viven los ancianos, las personas de la tercera edad que en algunas ocasiones son abandonados o incomprendidos, Jules llegó a darles un poco de sentido a sus vidas y los hizo preocuparse el uno por el otro.
La interpretación de Ben Kingsley como Milton, nos hace pensar en un anciano tranquilo quien no tiene prejuicios, que sabe aceptar a los demás, es por eso que al llegar Jules lo trató como un ser vivo, se preocupó por alimentarlo y que estuviera cómodo, es por eso que el vínculo entre ellos fue fuerte, tanto que aun que hubiera empeorado su memoria, a el si lo recordaba y Jules si regreso a visitarlo.
Siendo enfermera me hizo recordar la época en la que estuve realizando prácticas en un asilo, y es muy triste ver como van decayendo en el animo, en salud física y mental, es bueno que reciban visitas de otras personas y se sientan queridos y escuchados.

Que bonita y triste historia no puedo ni imaginar cómo se sentirá esa soledad de los más viejitos cuando todos se van y solo van de visitas aparte que muchas veces lo que los abuelos dicen pasa como desapercibido producto de la edad.
Hay que amar y proteger y oír a nuestros adultos, es una gran bendición llegar a esa edad.

No sabía de esta película y por tu reseña de ve bastante interesante. Un recién llegado que cambia el sentido de las vidas de personas adultas, siempre tan olvidadas y a veces descartadas por la sociedad. También he tratado con ancianos en los asilos y considero que es una triste historia haber criado hijos y que luego se desntiendan de sus padres. Tan solo una llamada telefónica puede alegrarles el día y ni eso hacen.
