¿Cuál fue la última película que viste, que sentiste que los creadores la hicieron con todo el amor del mundo? Ahora cuando lo que se busca es que una película sea un producto más que una obra, hay pocas cosas que se ven de corazón y con cariño. Puedo pensar en uno que otro ejemplo, eso es obvio, pero la verdad es que no son muchos, o por lo menos, no son muchos los que me llegan a la mente si pienso en proyectos pasionales en los últimos años. ¿Tú puedes pensar en alguno? Si no es así, si aún no comprendes de lo que hablo, voy a dar un par de ejemplos de proyectos pasionales que me encantan:

What was the last film you saw that you felt the creators made with all the love in the world? Now, when the aim is for a film to be a product rather than a work, there are few things that are seen from the heart and with love. I can think of one or another example, that's obvious, but the truth is that there are not many, or at least not many that come to my mind if I think of passion projects in recent years. Can you think of any? If not, if you still don't understand what I'm talking about, I'm going to give you a couple of examples of passion projects that I love:
Children of men
Me encanta hacer listas en mi cabeza, y estoy seguro de que esta película entra en varias de esas listas que he hecho, tanto por la grandeza de Cuaron al filmar planos secuencias cómo la increíble forma en la que nos muestra un mundo al borde del colapso, pero ahora vengo a hablar de esta película porque me parece que es la película que Cuaron hizo con todo su corazón cuándo se hizo un nombre en Hollywood. Y digo esto último porque Y tu mamá también es una película que sé que hizo con el corazón, lo mismo con la inigualable Roma, pero son dos cosas diferentes, ya que una es su primera película y la otra es una película autobiográfica; en cambio, Children of men es algo que no tiene nada que ver con él, más allá de sus grandes ganas de hacer una grandiosa película que sin duda, logra.
Children of men
I love to make lists in my head, and I'm sure this film fits in several of those lists I've made, both because of Cuaron's greatness in filming sequence shots and the incredible way he shows us a world on the verge of collapse, but now I come to talk about this film because it seems to me that it's the film Cuaron made with all his heart when he made his name in Hollywood. And I say this last because Y tu mamá is also a film that I know he made with his heart, the same with the incomparable Roma, but they are two different things, since one is his first film and the other is an autobiographical film; on the other hand, Children of Men is something that has nothing to do with him, beyond his great desire to make a great film, which he undoubtedly achieves.
The disastert Artist
El equipo que hizo peliculones como fiesta de salchichas, la entrevista y supercool se unen para mostrar la historia de la “mejor peor película de la historia”, y dónde muchos habrían hecho una comedia tonta sobre la historia de The Room, Seth Rogen y James Franco recrean con todo respeto y una maravillosa exactitud lo que fue el calvario de hacer The Room, con sus momentos icónicos calcados cómo si ellos lo hubiesen vivido. Se nota el amor que le tienen a la historia y a la película, además de que siendo actores, productores, escritores y directores de películas de comedia, The Room debió haber sido para ellos una obra que se tuvieron que aprender de pies a cabeza, y en The disastert Artist se nota a leguas el amor y cariño que tienen por la película y por el cine.

The team that made blockbusters like sausage party, the interview and supercool come together to show the story of the “best worst movie ever”, and where many would have made a silly comedy about the story of The Room, Seth Rogen and James Franco recreate with all respect and a wonderful accuracy what was the ordeal of making The Room, with its iconic moments traced as if they had lived it. The love they have for the story and the film is evident, besides being actors, producers, writers and directors of comedy films, The Room must have been for them a work that they had to learn from head to toe, and in The Disaster Artist you can clearly see the love and affection they have for the film and for cinema.
Babylon
Así como con Children of men Babylon también podría estar en muchas playlist, y así como con Children of men y Alfonso Cuaron, Babylon como el proyecto pasional de Damian Chazelle podría ser un poco trampa. Ya varias veces el director ha dicho que su pasión son los musicales y por eso hizo lalaland, que wihplash fue solo un abre boca para buscar dinero y hacer lo que realmente quería hacer, sin embargo, la pasión que derrama Chazelle por el cine en las casi tres horas que dura Babylon es demasiado notable, sobre todo con el montaje final. A muchos, tal vez, les podrá parecer empalagoso, pero yo aplaudo de pie al ver como alguien muestra su pasión de forma tan literal en su obra.
Babylon
As with Children of men Babylon could also be on many playlists, and as with Children of men and Alfonso Cuaron, Babylon as Damian Chazelle's passion project could be a bit of a trap. Already several times the director has said that his passion is musicals and that's why he made lalaland, that wihplash was just an opener to look for money and do what he really wanted to do, however, the passion that Chazelle pours for cinema in the almost three hours that Babylon lasts is too noticeable, especially with the final montage. To many, perhaps, it may seem cloying, but I give a standing ovation to see someone show his passion so literally in his work.

PD: Sugiero cuidar las mayúsculas iniciales, propias de todo nombre propio; conviene destacar los nombres de obras (filmes, libros, etc.) en cursivas (es lo que se recomienda).
