I recently watched a 1990s cult classic movie, which also got its name in the world's best movies. This movie was a great production by Quentin Tarantino, who has also made other cult classic movies like "Once Upon a Time in Hollywood," "True Romance," and "Kill Bill."

In this movie, we experience masterpiece dark humor and great acting of unforgettable characters. This movie falls in the genre of Crime and thrills.

The Story

The film starts in a diner, where a couple, Pumpkin and Honey Bunny, are discussing robbing the diner. This establishes a recurring theme in the film.
Then, there is Vincent Vega, a strong but somewhat reckless hitman who is tasked to accompany his boss Marsellus Wallace's wife (Mia) for dinner.

After that, it shows a boxer who chooses to double-cross the Marsellus which leads to a wild chain of events. Soon after, Junes Winnfield, Vincent's partner shows up whose spiritual awakenings contrast sharply with the movie.

The Suspense

It involves Vincent and Mia, when they are out for dinner they start with a perky flirtation while going back home she starts catching a cold and Vincent covers her with his coat they both reach home and he goes straight to the bathroom and starts talking to himself about how she is his boss (Marcellus) wife and shouldn't get any kind of thoughts about her.

Meanwhile, she finds the drugs in his coat and she overdoses from it, when Vincent comes back and finds her lying down on the floor and the blood coming out of her nose, he knows that it is a race against time to save her life or his own life would be gone. The scene keeps you thrilled and a mixture of dark humor with so much intensity.

My Review

It is a different type of movie where different stories are happening at the same time, where each plot feels like a whole in it, where each character has their entity and yet at the same time you don't get puzzled by watching different things happening at the same time, it is one of the things you admire of the Pulp Fiction.

I love the movie because of how it builds up suspense, with the unpredictable twists and the delivery of dialogues. Especially, the transition and the connecting of the story are just amazing to the level it couldn't be done better, this is a reason it's truly a masterpiece and I would rate it 9/10.
