The definition of brutal might be very subjective. I don't think this is very bloody or brutal. Is definitely not a horror flick where you see blood spilled everywhere. It's more of a distopian science fiction with cruel scenes, like watching a war movie. But it's all but graphic in my opinion.

I haven't watched even the first Hunger Games movie by choice, since I don't like watching brutal and very graphic movies.
