[ESP-ING] La primera vez(opinión). / The first time(opinion).
Hola nuevamente querida comunidad, nuevamente estoy para acá para recomendar otra súper serie que me dejó atrapada, no solo por su realización escenográfica, su temática, y producción sino por la calidad de sus personajes y por la realización de una historia que a mí parecer está súper bien trabajada.
Hello again dear community, I'm here again to recommend another super series that left me trapped, not only for its scenographic realization, its theme, and production but for the quality of its characters and for the realization of a story that in my opinion is super well worked.
La primera vez, es una serie ambientada en Colombia, que no solo nos relata la historia de Camilo, sino que también nos muestra los procesos que vivió un país en la época de los 70. Me gustó mucho esta serie porque no solo nos despierta un panorama adolescente, también nos muestra como las mujeres van tomando terreno en el mundo. A su vez hace referencia a temas muy delicados como el machismo, el amor, los valores familiares.
The first time is a series set in Colombia, which not only tells the story of Camilo, but also shows us the processes that a country went through in the 70s. I really liked this series because it not only awakens an adolescent panorama, but also shows us how women are gaining ground in the world. At the same time it makes reference to very delicate issues such as machismo, love, family values.
La serie está compuesta por 13 capítulos, de 40 minutos aproximadamente, la vida de Camilo cambia cuando a su colegio que es únicamente de hombres, entra una mujer que casualmente se llama Eva, haciendo una analogía de la primera mujer en la tierra y la primera mujer de ese instituto.
The series is composed of 13 chapters, of approximately 40 minutes, Camilo's life changes when a woman who happens to be named Eva enters his all-male school, making an analogy between the first woman on earth and the first woman in that institute.
Cómo es de esperarse en dicha época no había colegios mixtos y por eso Eva se vuelve una especie de atracción para todos los hombres, para el grupo y sobre todo para el mismísimo Camilo que queda flechado con ella. A partir de ese momento Eva cambia poco a poco los pensamientos de sus amigos, de sus profesores y sobre todo de Camilo que por conseguir el amor de Eva es capaz de hacer cualquier cosa, sin saber que ella huye de un mal pasado que es difícil descifrar en la serie.
As expected at that time there were no coeducational schools and therefore Eva becomes a kind of attraction for all men, for the group and especially for Camilo himself who falls in love with her. From that moment on, Eva changes little by little the thoughts of her friends, her teachers and above all Camilo, who is capable of doing anything to get Eva's love, without knowing that she is fleeing from a bad past that is difficult to decipher in the series.
Ahora bien daré mi percepción de todo el contenido de la serie, que recomiendo muchísimo ver, primero hace referencia a muchas obras maestras de la literatura, cada capítulo tiene el nombre de una gran obra, y con ella su protagonista principal reflexiona los sucesos de su vida en relación a la obra.
Now I will give my perception of the whole content of the series, which I highly recommend watching, first it refers to many masterpieces of literature, each chapter has the name of a great work, and with it its main protagonist reflects the events of his life in relation to the work.
Por otra parte podemos ver qué Eva es una mujer muy culta, y muy bien educada cosa que me llama mucho la atención primero porque para esa época dicha sabiduría no era bien vista, pues una mujer no podía tener pensamiento crítico, pero refuerza el hecho de que la cultura, y el conocimiento solo estaba al alcance de las familias acomodadas , quienes tenían el privilegio de poder estudiar y cultivar las artes y la ciencia, aún en esa época la educación de calidad era muy limitada.
On the other hand, we can see that Eva is a very cultured woman, and very well educated, which calls my attention, first because at that time such wisdom was not well seen, because a woman could not have critical thinking, but reinforces the fact that culture and knowledge was only available to wealthy families, who had the privilege of being able to study and cultivate the arts and science, even at that time the quality education was very limited.
Eva es una joven con grandes carencias paternales y por ello es tan rebelde, es egocéntrica, y terca, cualidades que muchas veces la meten en problemas y otras veces la ayuda, aún así considero que su personaje tiene discrepancia con ella misma, y que debido a su extenso vocabulario logra persuadir a la gente a su alrededor.
Eva is a young woman with great parental deficiencies and that is why she is so rebellious, self-centered, and stubborn, qualities that many times get her into trouble and other times help her, even so I consider that her character has discrepancy with herself, and that due to her extensive vocabulary she manages to persuade the people around her.
Los amigos de Camilo tienen una historia particular, cada uno de ellos refleja conductas que para la época eran condenadas y muy marcadas, como el machismo, el bullying, el existencialismo, la depresión, el suicidio, el ejercicio de labores del hogar y la homosexualidad, cosas que poco a poco se van desentrañando en el transcurso de los capítulos.
Camilo's friends have a particular history, each one of them reflects behaviors that were condemned and very marked at the time, such as machismo, bullying, existentialism, depression, suicide, housework and homosexuality, things that are gradually unraveled in the course of the chapters.
Tenemos a los profesores, que incurren a doble moral pues en su ímpetu por formar a "hombres de bien" dejan a un lado la humanización y al ser un centro educativo juzgan desde la moral y lo que es correcto y a partir de allí educan a sus estudiantes.
We have the teachers, who incur in double standards because in their eagerness to train "good men" they leave aside humanization and, being an educational center, they judge from morality and what is correct and from there they educate their students.
Por último, Camilo y sus padres, que me parece una familia "normal" una familia netamente patriarcal como era común en esa época pero con pequeños destellos de un padre sensible, bueno y amoroso, por otra parte está la madre que si me hace bastante ruido pues ella siento que muchas veces está cegada por el amor que le tiene a su hijo y pasa por debajo de la mesa cosas que son a mi parecer muy importantes.
Finally, Camilo and his parents, who seem to me a "normal" family, a clearly patriarchal family as it was common at that time but with small flashes of a sensitive, good and loving father, on the other hand there is the mother who makes me quite noise because I feel that she is often blinded by the love she has for her son and passes under the table things that are in my opinion very important.
Aún así ellos están seguros de la crianza de su hijo y pueden entender sus actitudes. Y Camilo un joven con pasiones, sueños, e ideales que cambiaron desde que conoció a Eva, no me parece mal pero tampoco me agrada, pues Camilo utilizó, cambió y hasta se cegó, todo por el simple echo de estar enamorado, y aunque dicen que el amor te hace hacer cosas estúpidas Camilo fue una demostración que nada en exceso ni amar al extremo es bueno.
Yet they are sure of their son's upbringing and can understand his attitudes. And Camilo a young man with passions, dreams, and ideals that changed since he met Eva, I don't think it's bad but I don't like it either, because Camilo used, changed and even blinded himself, all for the simple fact of being in love, and although they say that love makes you do stupid things Camilo was a demonstration that nothing in excess or love to the extreme is good.
Como aporte final me pareció súper bueno y complejo los temas que sutilmente y a través de una seudo historia de amor cuentan, hablan de política, de la legalización de la marihuana, de la posición de la mujer, las protesta que vivió Colombia en los años 70, y de las leyes que en nuestra actualidad tenemos y que si hubiesen estado vigentes en ese momento la historia sería diferente.
As a final contribution, I found the themes that subtly and through a pseudo love story, they talk about politics, the legalization of marijuana, the position of women, the protests that Colombia went through in the 70's, and the laws that we currently have and that if they had been in force at that time, history would be different.
Creo que también le da un aporte diferenciador a la historia es romper esa cuarta pared en la serie y por su puesto me encantó el voz over que hicieron con el protagonista dónde el mismo relataba su historia muchos años después. Aún así el final me dejó un poco mal, quería tener más clara como quedaba la vida de cada uno pero no le desmerito absolutamente nada.
I think it also gives a differentiating contribution to the story is to break that fourth wall in the series and of course I loved the voice over they did with the protagonist where he himself told his story many years later. Even so, the ending left me a little bad, I wanted to have more clarity on how the life of each one of them was, but I don't detract from it at all.
