[ESP-ING] "El Sastre" Review/ "They Tailor" Review.

^{Hello hivefriends my favorite day has arrived and it's the day to make you movie or series recommendations. I don't know how well you get along with Turkish productions but you know those are also my favorites.}

^{The Tailor is a Turkish super production, this series is written and based on one of the books by Gülseren Budayıcıoğlu, a Turkish writer, who also serves as a psychologist, and it is from the sessions she has with her patients that she is inspired to create novels and stories as complex as The Tailor.}

^{With two seasons of 7 chapters each, the story focuses on Peyami Dokumaci, a young man who inherited the prestige and work of his grandfather who was a tailor, and with that he also inherited one of his secrets which is the existence of Peyami's father who has a special condition.}

^{However, his life is wrapped between betrayal, doubt, pain, and love after he is in charge of making the wedding dress of the fiancée of his best friend Dimitri, who is a calculating, narcissistic man with an uncontrolled personality, he physically and psychologically abuses his fiancée Esvet, who also has a disturbing history which is discovered throughout the plot.}

^{Peyami has to choose between his friend and the love of Esvet who turns to him in a mysterious and deceitful way, so that later Peyami realizes the hell this woman is going through. However, the story will not be easy and after forming a love triangle and after betraying his best friend, unfortunate events occur that change the fate of Esvet and Peyami.}

^{In the second installment of this series, big changes can be seen, and into Peyami's story comes a kind of "crazy fairy godmother" who helps Peyami get rid of the pain of loss and can rebuild his life. She still continues to be involved in a love triangle, but at least other aspects of her life are resolved and she takes a different position on her father's condition.}

^{In this season we can also observe the reason for the erratic behavior of Dimitri, who in the end I consider to be one more victim of the abuses of his strict father and unfortunately all that suffering and disillusionment is directed to his now wife Esvet. Who is also one more victim of the decisions and actions of Dimitri's father.}

^{This series is extremely worthwhile, entertaining, different, and not only focuses on one story but literally weaves together to form an eclipsing and passionate narrative. The acting staged and I consider the whole story in general leaves a lot of reflections.}

^{We see that each character has an internal struggle, past traumas that do not let them live freely, secrets, and prejudices about how they have to act in front of others. The narrative is very focused on pretending to be something you are not, which is represented in each of the characters as they live a life they are neither happy nor proud of because it is overshadowed by a stormy past.}

^{This series can be seen on Netflix and from what was seen at the end of the last chapter of the second season there will be a third installment that left me stunned and I'm anxious for its premiere. For now I hope you enjoy it and you can tell me what you thought. See you next time. ❤️}
