[ESP-ING] El interés del amor / Love interest.

^{Hello again dear Movies and tv show community. Although I was missing from this community I have not stopped watching new series and movies to recommend to you.}

^{Once again I bring you a Korean production, called love interest, how many love stories we don't know in the audiovisual market, but how many love stories don't come true. Well, love interest is one of them, which is deeply rooted in Korean customs and traditions.}

^{This series contains 16 chapters, and was premiered in 2022, it focuses on the lives of its four main characters, hence the name of the love interest, where depending on your economic possibilities you can afford to love or not, according to South Korean culture.}

^{They all work at a popular bank in South Korea where An Soo Young, despite being the best teller, is unable to move up the ranks because she does not have a college degree.}

Por el contrario de Ha Sang Soo un joven que labró su camino en una buena universidad aún viniendo de una familia humilde, cuando entro a trabajar en el banco quedó flechado con quién sería su tutora pero antes de que esto sucediera ya a ella también le interesaba, sin embargo ninguno de los dos se atrevió a dar el paso de confesar su amor sino mucho tiempo después.

^{On the contrary, Ha Sang Soo, a young man who worked his way through a good university even though he came from a humble family, when he started working at the bank, he fell in love with his tutor, but before this happened, she was already interested in him, but neither of them dared to take the step of confessing their love until much later.}

Pero para ese momento ya es muy tarde porque entran otros personajes en la historia quienes indirectamente desvían ese camino del amor entre Sang Soo y Soo Young. Es así como se empiezan a entretejer otras historias que tienen que ver con la vida íntima de cada personaje, sin embargo aunque ellos intente siempre hay un vínculo que une a nuestros protagonistas.

^{But by that time it is too late because other characters enter the story who indirectly divert the path of love between Sang Soo and Soo Young. This is how they begin to weave other stories that have to do with the intimate life of each character, but even though they try, there is always a bond that unites our protagonists.}

Es una historia hermosa y que tiene mucho peso con la realidad del amor y las clases sociales. Ahora bien quiero hablar de los personajes, fuera de su trabajo actoral que fue muy bueno y aunque me estresa la lentitud del drama considero que sus personajes van muy arraigados a la realidad.

^{It is a beautiful story that has a lot of weight with the reality of love and social classes. Now I want to talk about the characters, apart from their acting work which was very good and although the slowness of the drama stresses me, I consider that their characters are very rooted in reality.}

La personalidad de la protagonista en cierta parte me molestó porque en parte fue egocéntrica porque ella sabía los sentimientos que tenía Sang Soo además de ser un poco rencorosa, aún así ame la forma en la que se defendió de su jefe abusivo, cosa que podemos experimentar en la vida real, por otra parte admiro su diligencia por intentar una y otra vez el puesto que quería. Sin embargo creo que se complicó mucho sin necesidad.

^{The personality of the main character in some part bothered me because she was partly self-centered because she knew the feelings Sang Soo had besides being a bit spiteful, still I loved the way she stood up for herself against her abusive boss, which we can experience in real life, on the other hand I admire her diligence for trying again and again for the position she wanted. However I think she got too complicated unnecessarily.}

Por otra parte tenemos a Sang Soo un hombre que de verdad no sabía lo que quería, estaba en un tres y dos y su presión social pudo más que el supuesto amor que le tenía a Soo Young. Sin embargo en el transcurso del drama toma valor y enfrenta sus temores o por lo menos eso intenta.

^{On the other hand we have Sang Soo a man who really didn't know what he wanted, he was in a three and two and his social pressure overcame his supposed love for Soo Young. However in the course of the drama he takes courage and faces his fears or at least tries to.}

Hablemos de Park Mi-Kyung y lo bajo que se puso al aceptar un romance sabiendo que Sang Soo no la amaba de igual forma, su forma caprichosa de ser, y además la forma en la que manipulaba su entorno para poder obtener lo que quería, su papel de villana fue sutilmente trabajado para que no se viera con tanta maldad.

^{Let's talk about Park Mi-Kyung and how low she got by accepting a romance knowing that Sang Soo didn't love her in the same way, her capricious way of being, and also the way she manipulated her surroundings in order to get what she wanted, her role as a villain was subtly crafted so that she didn't come across as evil.}

Y por último tenemos al novio de Soo Young, Jeong Jong-hyun, él era una persona insegura que sabía perfectamente que nuestra protagonista no lo quería pero aún así el quiso estar en esa relación era una persona pasivo-agresiva y la verdad me alegro que quedará solo porque tras esa cortina de calma había un hombre reprimido lleno de ira, inseguridad y dolor, creo que su papel también fue trabajado para que no se viera tan agresivo.

^{And finally we have Soo Young's boyfriend, Jeong Jong-hyun, he was an insecure person who knew perfectly well that our protagonist did not love him but still he wanted to be in that relationship, he was a passive-aggressive person and the truth is I'm glad he will be left alone because behind that curtain of calm there was a repressed man full of anger, insecurity and pain, I think his role was also worked so that he did not look so aggressive.}

Creo que cada uno de los personajes destacó y tienen cualidades importantes, esta serie nos deja como enseñanza que el amor no es como siempre nos dicen de luchar y quedar juntos y felices por siempre sino que en la mayoría de los casos el amor que queremos no se da y simplemente tenemos que pasar la página y seguir adelante. Yo creo que todos alguna vez tuvimos un amor que nunca pudo ser.

^{I think that each of the characters stood out and have important qualities, this series teaches us that love is not as they always tell us to fight and stay together happily ever after, but that in most cases the love we want is not given and we simply have to turn the page and move on, I think we all once had a love that could never be.}

A esta producción echa por le doy un 8,5 de 10 porque la verdad creo que hubieron capitulos innecesarios, la trama corrió muy lenta y muy obvia pero aún así la historia a relatar fue buena con un final abierto que deja al espectador poder interpretar lo que desee.

^{I give this production an 8.5 out of 10 because the truth is that there were unnecessary chapters, the plot ran very slow and very obvious but still the story to tell was good with an open ending that leaves the viewer to interpret what he/she wants.}
