The world building is fine, it has scenarios that fulfill their function, other than that, there is not much to highlight, it is quite mundane and common.

Narratively it is well made, it knows how to build both the moments of tension and its main mystery, both of which are worked in a very good way, which is why it ends up making the premise of the film pleasant. I would have liked it to have been longer, although its narrative is well developed, it is possible to perceive that it intended to explore the main problem more but there were limitations due to lack of time.
La trama es muy interesante, a lo largo del filme van teniendo lugar diferentes situaciones que mantienen cautiva la atención del espectador, siendo además que todas estas forman parte de cierto enigma general que se va desarrollando de forma orgánica, la combinación de esos elementos hace que la cinta no se sienta aburrida en ningún momento. Narrativamente está bien hecha, sabe ir construyendo tanto los momentos de tensión como su misterio principal, siendo que ambos son trabajados de muy buena forma, por lo que termina haciendo que la premisa de la película sea agradable. Me hubiese gustado que tuviese más duración, si bien su narrativa está desarrollada de buena forma se logra percibir que pretendía explorar más el problema principal pero hubo limitaciones por falta de tiempo.

Los personajes son bastante simples, estos no destacan por ser profundos o complejos, en su mayoría son básicos, fungiendo mayormente como impulsadores de trama con una personalidad escasa. Por su parte, el villano presenta una construcción muy curiosa e interesante, sin embargo, el grueso de su atractivo no es explorado ni expuesto como tal, solo se menciona al final del filme, no lo convierte en un desastre pero sí le cortó mucho potencial, pese a lo anterior logra tener presencia y causar cierto grado de intranquilidad al entrar en escena.
Psycho works the intrigue in an interesting way to the point that it is easy to be captivated by the various situations of tension that it generates, at the same time, it manages a certain degree of mystery that has a good presence and development, and both elements cope excellently with the film. , its characters are not that interesting but thanks to the premise of the film they do not become dead weight. It is for all the above that it deserves 4 stars out of 7, after watching this movie it made me want to see the Bates Motel series.
Psycho trabaja de forma interesante la intriga al punto de que es fácil cautivarse por las diversas situaciones de tensión que genera, a su vez, maneja cierto grado de misterio que tiene una buena presencia y desarrollo, siendo que ambos elementos sobrellevan de forma excelente al filme, sus personajes no son tan interesantes pero gracias a la premisa del filme estos no se convierten en peso muerto. Es por todo lo anterior que merece 4 estrellas de 7, tras ver esta película me dieron ganas de ver la serie Bates Motel.
