Welcome my dear internet spy travelers and thank you very much for having made a temporary stop in my post, the film that brings us together today is titled “The King's Man” which is a new installment of the British spy saga, I decided to see it, Due to the background of her predecessors I did not expect much from her although I have to admit that I found the focus on the origins of the organization interesting. Without further ado, prepare to subtly influence the war because we are about to begin.
Bienvenidos mis queridos viajeros espías del internet y muchas gracias por haber hecho una parada temporal en mi post, el filme que hoy nos reúne se titula “The King's Man” la cual es una nueva entrega de la saga de espías británicos me dispuse a verla, debido a los antecedentes de sus predecesoras no esperaba mucho de ella aunque he de admitir que el enfoque en los orígenes de la organización me pareció interesante. Sin más que agregar prepárense para influir sutilmente en la guerra pues estamos por comenzar.

It is an action and espionage film, the story focuses on a British aristocrat named Orlando, in 1902 when he was working for the Red Cross, his wife was murdered by a sniper, this event being what prompted him to work from the shadows in order to protect to his nation and his son. Es un filme de acción y espionajes, la historia se enfoca en un aristócrata británico llamado Orlando, en 1902 cuando trabajaba para la cruz roja su esposa fue asesinada por un francotirador siendo dicho suceso el que lo impulsó a obrar desde las sombras a fin de proteger a su nación y a su hijo. Doce años después la primera guerra mundial está presente, el pequeño niño se convirtió en un joven hombre que quiere servir a su país pese a la prohibición de su padre, sin embargo, todo este desastre mundial es causado por un grupo de personas que están cansados del status quo del planeta.

The soundtrack is exquisite, this is exactly what is expected from the musical pieces in an action film, throughout the film they give a very heroic and excellent character to the different action situations it has, being that the takes it to the next level of epicness.
La banda sonora es exquisita, esto es exactamente lo que se espera de las piezas musicales en un filme de acción, a lo largo de la cinta estas le dan un carácter muy heroico y excelente a las diferentes situaciones de acción que posee, siendo que las lleva al siguiente nivel de epicidad.
The construction of the world is fine in general terms, it doesn't really have settings that are unmatched, in fact, they are quite average, however, what is extremely excellent are the camera angles that are extremely amazing, being that they are used in such a way. way that the scenes take on a much more spectacular character, this trend is maintained throughout the film and makes the moments of tension look even better. On the other hand, he knows how to put his society to good use because both sides control the strings of various politicians and are the cause of various situations, this gives a pleasant nuance of espionage and manipulation to the context.
La construcción del mundo está bien a grandes rasgos, no tiene realmente escenarios que sean inigualable, de hecho, son bastante promedio, no obstante, lo que sí es sumamente excelente son los ángulos de cámara que son sumamente alucinantes, siendo que son empleados de tal forma que las escenas cobran un carácter mucho más espectacular, esta tendencia se mantiene a lo largo del filme y hace que los momentos de tensión se vean aún mejores. The plot is what is expected from a spy film, it has a large number of betrayals and confrontations, the latter being extremely excellent because they are made up of very creative choreographies that surprise with the amount of movement they have, making the sequences are much more interesting, at the same time, it has moments of comedy that fit in well and serve as small moments of relaxation for the plot. Narratively it is pleasant, it makes a mixture of historical events and mixes them with the fiction of the film, this makes its own story integrate naturally with the real events in order to conceive something new that feels organic, it has one or another twist of nut that are predictable but incorporated in a good way. This film follows the pattern of its predecessors of lasting more than 2 hours, however, this is the first that knows how to make correct use of each minute because at no time does it feel boring, and, as a whole, it constantly contributes something that helps develop the premise.
La trama es lo que se espera de un filme de espías, tiene una gran cantidad de traiciones y enfrentamientos, siendo estos últimos sumamente excelentes debido a que se componen de coreografías muy creativas que sorprenden por la cantidad de movimiento que tienen, haciendo que las secuencias sean mucho más interesantes, a su vez, tiene momentos de comedia que encajan de buena forma y sirven como pequeños momentos de relajación para la trama. Narrativamente es agradable, hace una mezcla de sucesos históricos y los mezcla con la ficción del filme, esto hace que su propia historia se integre de forma natural con los hechos reales para así concebir algo nuevo que se siente orgánico, tiene uno que otro giro de tuerca que son predecibles pero que se incorporan de buena forma. Esta película sigue el patrón de sus predecesoras de durar más de 2 horas, sin embargo, esta es la primera que sabe hacer un uso correcto de cada minuto debido a que en ningún momento se siente aburrida, y, como un todo, constantemente se aporta algo que ayude al desarrollo de la premisa.
The characters are not the most complex in the world or anything like that, in general terms they are well characterized, what I will highlight is the fact that it is pleasant the way in which the loss of one of their own, being a child, temporarily affects them. event that makes them feel more human. The villains are only bad for the sake of it, they don't really have anything that stands out apart from the fact that they are complete psychopaths, something I have to mention is that I thought it was nice that these were mostly made up of historical figures who were characterized by being some psychopaths, ruthless and/or with questionable actions.
Los personajes no son los más complejos del mundo ni nada que se le asemeje, estos a rasgos generales están bien caracterizados, lo que destacaré es el hecho de que es agradable la forma en como les afecta temporalmente la perdida de uno de los suyos siendo un suceso que los hace sentir más humanos. Los villanos solo son malos porque sí, no tienen verdaderamente nada que los destaque aparte del hecho de ser unos completos psicópatas, algo que he de mencionar es que me pareció agradable fue que estos estaban compuestos en su mayoría por figuras históricas que se caracterizaron por ser unos psicópatas, despiadados y/o de accionar cuestionable.
The King's Man is everything a spy film should be, it has an excellent presence of moments of action that give it an exquisite character, its narrative is somewhat simple but that is not a problem because it makes up for that with violence and situations tense that fit very well with the theme, the same happens with its characters who are not the most memorable but have a decent job to say the least. It is for all of the above that it deserves 3.5 stars out of 7, it is the third installment of the franchise but it has been the best so far.
The King's Man es todo lo que debe de ser un filme de espías, tiene una presencia excelente de momentos de acción que le dan un carácter exquicito, su narrativa es algo simple pero eso no es un problema debido a que suple eso con violencia y situaciones tensas que encajan muy bien con la temática, lo mismo sucede con sus personajes que no son los más memorables pero tienen un trabajo decente cuanto menos. Es por todo lo anterior que merece 3.5 estrellas de 7, es la tercera entrega de la franquicia pero ha sido la mejor hasta ahora.
