[Movie review] [Eng | Esp] Saw VII
Welcome my dear internet travelers who love the bizarre and thank you very much for having made a temporary stop in my post, I like to fulfill what I promise and a while ago I committed to reviewing the Saw saga and today it's my turn turn to the 7th film of the franchise, which follows the already known and repeated formula. Without further ado, prepare to see indigestible things because we are about to begin.
Bienvenidos mis queridos viajeros del internet amantes de lo bizarro y muchas gracias por haber hecho una parada temporal en mi post, me gusta cumplir con lo que prometo y hace un tiempo me comprometí con el hecho de reseñar la saga de Saw y hoy le toca el turno al 7mo filme de la franquicia, el cual sigue la fórmula ya conocida y repetida. Sin más que agregar prepárense para ver cosas indigestas pues estamos por comenzar.
Saw VII was released in 2010, directed by Kevin Greutert and produced by Twisted Pictures, it has a duration of 1 hour and 30 minutes. It is a horror and suspense film, the story brings back the different people who have survived Jiwsaw's terrible ordeals and how these have changed their lives forever, among them Bobby Dagen stands out, a man who supposedly also managed to overcome said test decided to monetize his story through a book, interviews and more, however, harsh reality will knock on the door when he must overcome all the tests to which he said he was subjected.
Saw VII fue estrenada en 2010, dirigida por Kevin Greutert y producida por Twisted Pictures, cuenta con una duración de 1 hora y 30 minutos. Es un filme de terror y suspenso, la historia trae de vuelta a las diferentes personas que han sobrevivido a las pruebas terribles de Jiwsaw y como estas han cambiado sus vidas para siempre, dentro de ellos destaca Bobby Dagen un hombre que supuestamente también logro superar dicha prueba decidió monetizar su historia mediante un libro, entrevistas y demás, sin embargo, la dura realidad tocará la puerta cuando deba superar todas las pruebas a las que dijo que fue sometido.

The soundtrack is a section that is fine, it is the only one that has been maintained in good quantity throughout the different installments.
La banda sonora es un apartado que está bien, es el único que se ha mantenido con buena cantidad a lo largo de las diferentes entregas.
The worldbuilding has nothing that makes it stand out, it is simply a section that lacks any iota of moment in which it is interesting or has any kind of value.
La construcción de mundo no tiene nada que la haga destacar, es sencillamente un apartado que carece de cualquier ápice de momento en que sea interesante o tenga alguna clase de valor.
The plot is completely generic, it is without a doubt the most generic film of the entire franchise since it does not bring any new situation or anything similar, it is only limited to reusing scenes and elements previously presented, the only thing that stands out are its indigestible scenes that are honestly just repetitive and unpleasant. Narratively it is a joke, its weak writing continues to shine since it continues to depend on Jigsaw's omniscience to carry out its premise, no matter how long he has been dead, he continues to foresee events and plan a perfect countermeasure, it is simply an accumulation of conveniences that only They are boring and kill any attempt at an interesting twist. I'm grateful that this garbage is at least short-lived, this way I have to endure fewer unpleasant and visceral scenes.
La trama es completamente genérica, es sin lugar a dudas el filme más genérico de toda la franquicia puesto que no trae ninguna situación nueva ni nada que se le asemeje, solamente se limita a reutilizar escenas y elementos antes presentados, lo único que destaca son sus escenas indigestas que sinceramente solo son repetitivas y desagradables. Narrativamente es un chiste, su escritura floja sigue reluciendo puesto que sigue dependiendo de la omnisciencia de Jigsaw para sacar adelante su premisa, no importa el tiempo que lleve muerto este sigue previendo acontecimientos y planeando una contramedida perfecta, sencillamente es un cúmulo de conveniencias que solo son aburridas y que matan cualquier intento por hacer un giro interesante. Me siento agradecido de que esta basura por lo menos dure poco, de esta forma tengo que soportar menos escenas desagradables y viscerales.
It is a film from the Saw saga, its characters will always leave much to be desired and will only be introduced to be killed as soon as they have the opportunity, their only function has been and continues to be the fact of suffering horrible punishments.
Es un filme de la saga Saw, siempre sus personajes van a dejar mucho que desear y solo ser introducidos para ser asesinados apenas se tenga la oportunidad, la única función de estos ha sido y sigue siendo el hecho de sufrir castigos horribles.
Saw VII is without a doubt the worst film I have ever seen in the saga, from afar you can see that it is designed solely and exclusively to make money, it lacks any interest in introducing something that has a minimum of originality and that gives it minus some personality to the film. It is for all of the above that it deserves 1 star out of 7, do not waste your time, if you have seen other films in the saga I can assure you that it is exactly the same or even worse.
Saw VII es sin lugar a dudas la peor película que haya visto de la saga, de lejos se nota que está pensada única y exclusivamente para sacar dinero, carece de cualquier interés por introducir algo que tenga un mínimo de originalidad y que le dé por lo menos algo de personalidad al filme. Es por todo lo anterior que merece 1 estrella de 7, no pierdan su tiempo, si han visto otras cintas de la saga les puedo asegurar que es exactamente lo mismo o incluso peor.
