REPTILE | Movie Review 🎥
Do you know why we watch movies? Because it's time to entertain and relax, this week has been very hard. And yesterday I was so sick that I had to go home before finishing my work shift, I lay down and wanted to watch Netflix or something to help me fall asleep, however I had so many technical problems that it left me super active, so, I took advantage of the fact that everything returned to normal and I watched this movie.
REPTILE. Of course when I read the synopsis section, the first thing that rang my bell were the names of the protagonists, I even think I didn't even pay that much attention to the small synopsis because the spark of curiosity jumped out when I saw: Justin Timberlake, Benicio Del Toro and Alicia Silverston. And that's how I got into this film with Crime, Drama and a bit of Suspense too.
¿Saben por qué vemos películas? Porque es tiempo para entretenerse y relajarse, esta semana ha sido muy dura. Y ayer estaba tan enferma que tuve que ir a casa antes de terminar mi turno de trabajo, me recosté y quería ver Netflix o algo que me ayudase a conciliar el sueño, sin embargo tuve tantos problemas técnicas que eso me dejó super activa, so, aproveché que todo volvió a la normalidad y me vi esta película.
REPTILE. Por supuesto al leer irme a la sección de la sinopsis, lo primero que sonó mi campana fueron los nombres de los protagonistas, incluso creo que ni le presté tanta atención a la pequeña sinopsis porque salta la chispa de la curiosidad al ver: Justin Timberlake, Benicio Del Toro y Alicia Silverston. Y así fue como me adentré en esta película de Crimen, Drama y un poco de suspenso también.

Let's talk a little about the film, and without any intention of going into too much detail because I'm still a little sick, my energy is quite low.
REPTILE. Before even reading the synopsis, I imagined it would be something sci-fi and see men shed their skin, lol. Everything wrong with me. The story is really based on crime and begins with the death of a real estate agent, this death seems quite strange and among all this a suspect enters, apparently a neighbor managed to identify something and tells a detective, certainly, the duty of every detective is to search for the truth of what happened, despite the fact that there are so many incidents that remain isolated, everything seems to indicate that the case must be closed but amidst this search for the truth the detective is not satisfied with his work, let's say that he has that instinct to know that there is something strange there.
Hablemos un poco de la película, y sin intenciones de extenderme mucho porque sigo un poco enferma, mi energía está bastante baja.
REPTILE. Antes de siquiera leer la sinopsis, me imaginaba que sería algo así de ciencia ficción y que vería hombres mudar piel, lol. Todo mal conmigo. La historia realmente se basa en el crimen y empieza por la muerte de una agente de bienes inmobiliario, esta muerte parece bastante extraña y entre todo esto entra un sospechoso, al parecer un vecino logró identificar algo y le comenta a un detective, ciertamente, el deber de todo detective es buscar la verdad de lo que pasó, a pesar de que hay tantos incidentes que quedan aislados, todo parece indicar que el caso debe cerrarse pero entre esta búsqueda de la verdad el detective no está satisfecho con su trabajo, digamos que tiene ese instinto para saber qué hay algo extraño ahí.

This detective is like my mother, at her most toxic moment, would say, “Eyes of a crazy person, can't be wrong.” The film takes place in this whole atmosphere of mystery and trying to discover the truth, and there are so many clues that make you feel lost and wonder: Who is to blame for this atrocity?
Este detective es como mi madre en su momento más tóxico diría “Ojo de loca no se equivoca”. La película se desarrolla en todo este ambiente de misterio y tratar de descubrir la verdad, y hay tantas pistas que hacen que puedas sentirte perdido y te preguntes ¿Quién es el culpable de esta atrocidad?

The movie itself is pretty good, the details are good too, although what I don't like is that it gets a little long, and it feels like, that lengthening is a little forced, when you're about to feel bored BOOM ! Nothing is as it seems and the real world is revealed. In the end, everything is very much told as in real life, nothing that happened here could be said to be a lie, the world is populated by very evil and corrupt people. And I'm sure that like this story there are many cases happening. And if I had to give it a score, I would give it a 7/10 because it goes on for a long time and at one point it gets lost but they pick it up quickly.
La película en sí es bastante buena, los detalles también son buenos, aunque lo que no me gusta es que se hace un poco larga, y se sienten como que, ese alargamiento es un poco forzado, cuando estás apunto de sentirte como aburrido ¡BOOM! Nada es lo que parece y el mundo real se revela. Al final, es todo muy relatado como en la vida real, nada de lo que pasó aquí podríamos decir que es mentira, el mundo está poblado de gente muy malvada y corrupta. Y estoy segura que como esta historia hay muchísimos casos sucediendo. Y si tuviera que darle una puntuación, le daría un 7/10 porque se extiende mucho y en un punto se pierde pero lo retoman rápidamente.
He tenido ganas de verla, se ve una historia muy interesante... pero no me convence eso de que sea muy larga amiga...

Me dió mucha risa ese refrán de tu mamá. A mi me gustó mucho esta película, yo le di una puntuación de 9/10 y aunque fue larga no me aburrió en ningún momento, ver a todas esas leyendas juntas actuando para mí fue increíble y cada uno trabajó muy pero muy bien. Excelente post!

Es verdad nada como relajarse y disfrutar de una buena película, esta aún no la he visto, la trama no me convence del todo, y si es asi de larga, bueno, habrá que ver, quizás más adelante me anime, gracias por compartirla, saludos.

STOPTambién me pasó que me saltaron a la vista los nombres de los protagonistas y hasta leer tu post no tenía ni idea de qué trataba la película xD. Gracias por compartir tu opinión, en base a la cual creo que voy a pasar de esta película a pesar de esa terna protagonista porque no parece ser de mi tipo de películas favoritas y - como todos los amantes del cine - tengo una extensa lista de pendientes.

Yo la vi definitivamente es un 100 para mí principalmente por la actuación de Benicio del toro y Justin Timberlake.
A mí me gustó, estuvo buena. Este año en peloiclas creo que ha sido bueno
