Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story | Series Review
I recently finished watching Bridgerton and I really watched it because of everything I saw on social media, there was always a topic that alluded to the series and it intrigued and curious me, the truth is that I ended up liking it because it is my type of series, in fact I am waiting for Outlander to come out... But that is not what I wanted to talk about but about another series.

Obviously this series or mini series because it only consists of 6 chapters is a prequel to the Bridgerton series. And here we will see a little of the history of this queen.
Recientemente terminé de ver Bridgerton y realmente la vi fue por todo lo que veía en redes sociales, siempre había un tema que hace alusión a la serie y me causaba intriga y curiosidad, lo cierto es que me terminó gustando porque sí es mi tipo de serie, de hecho estoy esperando que salga Outlander... Pero no es de eso que quería hablar sino de otra serie.

Obviamente está serie o mini serie porque consta solo de 6 capitulos es una precuela de la serie de Bridgerton. Y aquí veremos un poco de la historia de esta reina.

Something that should be mentioned is that it is not something faithful to what happened in reality, I remember that a while ago social media were scandalized because they were trying to force inclusion by making Queen Charlotte a black woman, the truth is in my personal opinion I couldn't care less about talking about skin colors, people get offended and discriminate for something that they themselves didn't experience, we are all human. Anyway, that's not what matters about these series but how a story is told.
And here they are telling the story of the young Queen Charlotte, how an arranged marriage catapults her to power, in addition to getting a real love for her whole life.
Algo que se debe mencionar es que no es algo fiel a lo que sucedió en la realidad, recuerdo que hace un tiempo las redes sociales estaban escándalizadas porque se estaba intentando una inclusión forzada al hacer de la reina Charlotte una mujer negra, la verdad en mi opinión personal no podría importarme menos hablar de colores de piel, la gente se ofende y discrimina por algo que ni ellos mismos vivieron, todos somos humanos. En fin, eso no es lo que importa de estas series sino de cómo se cuenta una historia.
Y aquí están contando la historia de la joven reina Charlotte, como un matrimonio arreglado la catapulta al poder, además de conseguir un amor real para toda su vida.

Certainly, in this Netflix story, fantasy is mixed with some truth, but we must never lose sight of the fact that these are series that are made to entertain, in this case.
The focus that we see in this series is the true struggle of two characters, Charlotte and George III. Why do I say this? Because it is obvious, lol. Both characters were immersed in a struggle of love and hate, but it was quite evident that from the first second they looked at each other there was something different, there is also the fight against George's mental illness, unfortunately something quite misunderstood at the time and one truth is that the one who truly loves you is the person who helps you and guides you, it is well said that love can do everything.
I really liked it because it was not an easy story, seeing the fight between love and illness, especially in George's character, was a lonely and painful process that I think all of us who saw this series could feel, and the ending gave my heart a little relief. I really got a lump in my throat from time to time, it was really beautiful, this is a series that I would watch again, especially because it is short and precise.
Ciertamente en esta historia de Netflix se mezcla la fantasía con algo de verdad pero nunca debemos perder de vista que estas son series que hacen para entretener, en este caso.
El enfoque que vemos en esta serie, es la verdadera lucha de dos personajes, Charlotte y George III. ¿Por qué digo esto? Porque es obvio, lol. Ambos personajes estuvieron sumergidos en una lucha de amor y odio, pero fue bastante evidente que desde el primer segundo en que se miraron hubo algo distinto, también está la lucha contra la enfermedad mental de George, lamentablemente algo bastante incomprendido en la época y una verdad es que quien te ama de verdad es la persona que te ayuda y te guía, bien se dice que el amor todo lo puede.
Realmente me gustó porque no fue una historia fácil, ver la lucha entre el amor y la enfermedad especialmente en el personaje de George fue todo un proceso solitario y doloroso que creo que todos los que vimos esta serie pudimos sentir y el final que le dieron alivio un poco mi corazón, a mi de verdad se me hacía un nudo en la garganta de vez en cuando, realmente hermosa, esta es como una serie que volvería a ver sobretodo porque es corta y precisa.

Bridgerton gained public attention in fact it broke records hehe the heroine and the sensational scenes did all this lol. Well this 6 chapter para sequel seems to be interesting as it's plot is unique. Love , hate , illness hmm did you really feel a lump in your throat kidding ?
Lol, I'm not kidding!! I am very emotional and when something is really sad or painful for me I feel that lump in my throat.

Me parece interesante cómo mencionas que, aunque no es fiel a la historia real, eso no le quita valor. A veces, la representación es más importantes que la exactitud histórica. Aún no la he visto, espero hacerlo pronto! Buena reseña!!
