Infinity Pool | Movie Review 🎥
I don't think I have words to describe this movie, I'm lying, yes I do but it was difficult to decide what to say, I was going over the movie in my head over and over again, it's all very strange, rare, out of the ordinary.
I want to start by saying that this will not be a recommendation for you to see it but I will give my Review. This is a quite strong film to watch and it is not something easy to digest, it is very eccentric, its levels of madness are high. It covers the genre of sci-fi and horror. It really is horrible, it's twisted and dark, totally gore.
Creo que no tengo palabras para describir esta película, estoy mintiendo sí las tengo pero fue difícil decidirme qué decir, estuve repasando la película en mi cabeza una y otra vez, es todo muy extraño, raro, fuera de lo normal.
Quiero empezar diciendo que esto no será una recomendación para que la vean pero si daré mi Review. Esta es una película bastante fuerte de ver y no es algo fácil de digerir, es muy excéntrica, sus niveles de locura son altas. Abarca el género de sci-fi y horror. De verdad que es horrorosa, es retorcida y oscura, totalmente gore.

This movie starts in a strange way and ends in a strange way. In this film we are going to accompany James on a vacation that none of us will ever forget. James and his wife are supposed to be on vacation at a resort and this whole plan was so James could find inspiration because he is a writer but apparently not a very good one...
Esta película empieza de una forma extraña y termina de la forma. En esta película vamos a acompañar a James en unas vacaciones que jamás olvidaremos ninguno de nosotros. Se supone que James y su esposa están de vacaciones en un resort y todo este plan fue para James pudiera encontrar inspiración porque él es un escritor pero al parecer uno no muy bueno...

This couple is staying in "Pa qlqa" which is located in the country of Li Tolqa. Obviously all this is fictitious, there is no such country. Anyway, this couple knows another couple, and they go every year to stay so they already have some experience in the place, so they invite James and his wife to the beach, so they can get to know the place better, when they return from the beach James offers to drive back to the resort and unfortunately kills a Citizen of Li Tolqa, and at this moment is when we all feel the true terror, well almost... Because here we find out that the laws in this country are quite severe but also if you have money you can get away easily (Hmmm, it looks like any corrupt third world country)
Esta pareja se hospeda en "Pa qlqa " el cual se encuentra en el país de Li Tolqa. Obviamente todo esto es ficticio, no existe tal país. En fin, esta pareja conoce a otra pareja, y ellos van cada año a hospedarse así que ya tienen algo de experiencia en el lugar, por lo que invitan a James y su esposa a la playa, así estos puedan conocer mejor el lugar al regreso de la playa James se ofrece a conducir de vuelta al resort y lamentablemente mata a un Ciudadano de Li Tolqa, y en este momento es cuando todos sentimos el verdadero terror, bueno casi... Porque aquí nos enteramos que las leyes en este país son bastante severas pero también si tiene dinero te puedes librar fácilmente (Hmmm, se parece a cualquier país corrupto del tercer mundo)

The truth is that, in this film they show us how rich people can get away with it after committing a crime but it is also a mockery of the same thing, it is a satire but it is twisted, it is exactly that, I think it focuses the forms of the actions of some rich people who have no limits and justice never reaches them, where they believe they can have all the power in their hands and always get their way.
We will see how James discovers that he can commit crimes and get away with it but he also discovers that he loses himself in the process, since he thought he would always be in an infinity party until everything turned against him.
Lo cierto es que, en esta película nos muestran como la gente rica puede salirse con la suya luego de cometer un crimen pero también es una burla a lo mismo, es una sátira pero que retorcida, es exactamente eso, creo que enfoca bien las formas de actuar de algunos ricos que no tienen límites y la justicia nunca los alcanza, dónde creen que pueden tener todo el poder en sus manos y siempre salirse con la suya.
Veremos cómo James descubre que puede cometer crímenes y salirse con la suya pero también descubre que se pierde así mismo en el proceso, ya que pensó que siempre estaría en una fiesta infinita hasta que todo se volvió en contra de él.

Here it contains quite strong scenes, bloodbaths, sexual scenes, "medicinal plants" that will make you hallucinate from the screen, it is not a film that I recommend seeing if you are sensitive, plus even I myself at one point felt dazed with so many lights and effects, I felt that the one who was under those psychotropic effects was me, crazy, right? On the other hand, all these scenes are formed with the intention of giving us the message, that criticism of that small percentage of the population, that criticism of the 1% that does not know limits and its only God is the hunger for power, if you do not have possessions unfortunately you are a victim.
On the other hand, I think the performances are great. Here is Mia Goth who is a very familiar face to me and I feel that she is good at this genre, it really makes you think "this woman has something wrong in her head, she is completely crazy" which is the point, very accurate the performances.
Of course, I would not see this movie again, it's not bad, but this review leaves me thinking about all those terrible things that a person with a lot of power can really carry out... And I don't think it's far from reality, unfortunately.
Aquí contiene escenas bastante fuerte, baños de sangre, escenas sexuales, "plantas medicinales" que te harán alucinar desde la pantalla, no es una película que recomiendo ver si eres sensible, además hasta yo misma en un momento me sentí aturdida con tantas luces y efectos, sentí que la que estaba bajo esos efecto psicotrópicos era yo, ¿Loco no? Por otro lado, todo estaa escenas se forman con la intención de darnos el mensaje, esa crítica a ese pequeño porcentaje de la población, esa crítica al 1% que no conoce de límites y su único Dios es el hambre de poder, si no tienes posesiones lamentablemente eres una víctima.
Por otro lado, las actuaciones me parecen que están geniales. Aquí está Mia Goth que es una cara muy conocida para mí y este género para ella siento que se le da bien, realmente te hace pensar "esta mujer tiene algo malo en la cabeza, está completamente loca" lo cual es el punto, muy acertada las actuaciones.
Por supuesto, no volvería a ver esta película, no es mala pero esta crítica me deja pensando en todas esas cosas terribles que realmente una persona con mucho poder puede llevar a cabo... Y no creo que se aleje de una realidad, lamentablemente.

Though from your review this movie is scary and suspense filled which easily can be related to happenings around some countries where the wealthy abuse their power but at the end of the movie did the main character survive?
Because most horror movies they sort of enjoy killing off the main character. Thanks for sharing your review of this movie.
