A while ago, Ariana Grande's song "We can't be friends" was famous and the music video is inspired exactly by this movie. I didn't know about it at the time, I found out through comments from internet users and I thought to myself: Have I seen this movie? Because many times I see a movie but I don't remember it very well, unfortunately I hadn't seen it so I decided to give it a chance.
As always, the first thing we do is read the synopsis: "They seemed like the ideal couple, their first meeting was magical, but as time goes by she wished she had never met him. Hace un tiempo estuvo famosa una canción de Ariana grande "We can't be friends" y el vídeo musical está inspirado exactamente en esta película. Yo no lo sabía en su momento, me enteré por comentarios de los internautas y dentro de mi pensé: ¿He visto esta película? Porque muchas veces veo una película pero no lo recuerdo muy bien, lamentablemente no la había visto así que decidí darle una oportunidad.
Como siempre, lo primero que hacemos es leer la sinopsis: "Parecían la pareja ideal, su primer encuentro fue mágico, pero con el paso del tiempo ella deseó nunca haberlo conocido. Su anhelo se hace realidad gracias a un polémico y radical invento. Sin embargo descubrirán que el destino no se puede controlar." esta película la pueden encontrar en la app de MAX.

I think this will be a pretty short review because if I talk more, I'll tell you the whole movie, it's easy to explain but it's also different from someone telling you about it than from you watching it yourself.
This movie tells us the story of Joel and Clementine, they are two people who met by chance, they started dating, they liked each other and they had a pretty deep love relationship. At first they show pure love, but as time goes by we explore Joel's memories and we see that not everything was rosy, Joel seemed to be a person who hadn't noticed these little things, these disagreements and not to mention Clementine as well.
Creo que esta será una reseña bastante corta porque si hablo de más, cuento toda la película, es fácil de explicar pero también es diferente a que alguien te lo cuente a qué lo veas tu mismo.
Esta película nos cuenta la historia de Joel y Clementine, son dos personas que se encontraron por casualidad, empezaron a salir, se gustaron y tuvieron una relación amorosa bastante profunda. Al principio muestran puro amor, pero a medida de que va pasando el tiempo vamos explorando los recuerdos de Joel y vemos que no todo era color de rosa, Joel parecía ser una persona que no se había dado cuenta de estas pequeñas cositas, estos desacuerdos y ni hablar de Clementine.

However, all of this is revealed when one day Joel goes to visit Clementine and she pretends not to know who he is, this left Joel a little shocked because she was not pretending, since there was some kind of radical procedure that people could undergo to erase the memories of something or someone from their mind forever.
Unfortunately, this couple undergoes this procedure, each on their own. They both decide to erase their memories and when they see each other on the street they are complete strangers.
Sin embargo, todo esto se revela cuando un día Joel va a visitar a Clementine y está finge no saber quién es, esto dejó de Joel un poco impactado pues ella no estaba fingiendo, ya que había una especie de procedimiento novedoso que las personas podían realizarse para borrar los recuerdos de algo o alguien de su mente para siempre.
Lamentablemente esta pareja se somete a este procedimiento, cada quien por cuenta propia. Ambos deciden borrar sus recuerdos y al verse en la calle son unos completos extraños.

It was a very nice movie with a good message, most of the movie will be spent exploring Joel's memories, where he realizes many things just when these memories are about to be erased forever. The message is quite clear, life is not perfect, couples have ups and downs, the sun doesn't come out every day. Another message is that even if our memories are erased, our feelings will still be there, we will still feel.
Fue una película bastante bonita con un buen mensaje, la mayor parte de la película la veremos explorando los recuerdos de Joel, dónde él se da cuenta de muchas cosas justamente cuando estos recuerdos están por ser eliminados para siempre. El mensaje es bastante claro, la vida no es perfecta, las parejas tienen altibajos, no todos los días puede salir el sol. Otro mensaje es que a pesar de que nuestras memorias sean borradas, nuestros sentimientos seguirán ahí, nosotros seguiremos sintiendo.

Such an underrated movie that stands the test of time quite well. So many themes are still and will always be relevant as it explores a very human story that doesn't change regardless of the technology around it.
You are right! And I don't know why I suddenly remembered people with Alzheimer's, sometimes they forget some things but they still retain what they once felt.

Esta película me llama mucho la atención ya que la protagoniza Jim Carrey, quien en ese entonces era conocido por ser un actor de películas de comedia y que nadie esperaba que participara en una película de este estilo. El tema del romance, la ruptura, los recuerdos y ese toque de ficción con el procedimiento que utilizan para hacer que ambos olviden los recuerdos que tienen de cuando salían juntos es algo que me encanta bastante. Es una historia de amor con ciencia ficción que atrapa y se mantiene muy bien por lo diferente que es a la mayoría.
