I remember that this series came out when we were in a pandemic and I thought it would seem ridiculous to me. The first episode made me want to tear my hair out because of the main character. A very naive girl who doesn't even put her feet on the ground.
But as the series progressed, and we watched season after season, we saw the changes that the character has taken, going from being a naive, demure and distrustful girl to being a woman who makes her own decisions and trusts her judgment.
Recuerdo que está serie salió cuando estábamos en pandemia y pensé que me parecería ridícula, el primer capítulo quería arrancarme los cabellos por como es el personaje principal. Una chica muy ilusa que ni pone los pies en la tierra.
Pero al avanzar en la serie, y ver temporada tras temporada hemos ido viendo los cambios que el personaje ha tomado pasando de ser una niña ingenua, recatada y desconfiada a ser una mujer que toma sus propias decisiones y confía en su juicio.

I have grown fond of Emily's character and was waiting for this season, the first part was 5 episodes but the rest will be released next month. Now, when I say that I like the character it is because despite everything Emily has always remained true to herself.
On the other hand, there are several negative points. The fact that we all know that the French hate Americans and that Emily's character seems to no longer try to learn French, she just tried to learn and then gave up on everything. It is understood that the series is about an American girl who moves to Paris for work but what about the language, are we all going to pretend that the French love to speak English?
Emily's love story is not the most ideal because she fell in love with the boyfriend of her first friend she made in Paris and the worst thing is that after she found out this information she continued to desire him, I don't feel that it is a good lesson and in fact this romance is what they are apparently trying to carry out... It wouldn't be very nice to know that young girls today think that they can be disloyal to each other and then pretend to continue with a friendship after having broken a trust.
Not to mention that sometimes there seems to be little coherence in the series, and what do you think about this series? Have you seen it yet?
He llegado a tenerle cariño a el personaje de Emily y estaba esperando esta temporada, la primera entrega fue de 5 episodios pero el mes que viene saldrá el resto. Ahora, cuando digo que me gusta el personaje es porque a pesar de todas las cosas Emily siempre se ha mantenido fiel a ella misma.
Por otro lado, hay varios puntos negativos. El hecho de que todos sabemos que los franceses odian a los norteamericos y que el personaje de Emily parece ya no esforzarse más por aprender Francés, solo intentó aprender y después abandonó todo. Se entiende que la serie es de una chica americana que se muda a París por trabajo pero y el idioma, ¿todos vamos a fingir que los franceses aman hablar en ingles?
La historia de amor de Emily no es la más ideal pues ella se enamoró del novio de su primera amiga que hizo en París y lo peor es que después de ella saber esta información siguió deseándolo, no siento que sea una buena enseñanza y de hecho este romance es que al parecer están tratando de llevar a cabo... No seria muy agradable saber que las jovencitas hoy en día piensen que puedan ser desleales entre ellos mismos y luego pretender continuar con una amistad después de haber roto una confianza.
Sin contar que a veces parecen existir poca coherencia en la serie, ¿Y ustedes que opinan de que esta serie? ¿La han visto ya?
