Am I ok? | Movies Review
This is a 2022 film that I didn't know existed with Dakota Johnso because I have been finding out that it was part of a screening at a film festival and actually two years later, that is, this month, it is released to the public. The title caught my attention and also seeing a woman crying on the cover makes you think it will be tragic.
Esta es una película del 2022 que no sabía que existía de Dakota Johnson, porque me vengo enterando que fue parte de una muestra en un festival de cine y realmente dos años después, o sea en este mes es que se estrena al público. El título me llamó la atención y además ver a una mujer llorando en la portada te hace pensar que será trágico.

I'll be a little brief with the review and my opinion because I really didn't like it that much.
We started by talking a little about the film, it focuses on the life of Lucy, a woman who is 32 years old and still doesn't know who she is, she is really confused with herself or at least she didn't want to accept who she is.
Seré un poco breve con la reseña y mi opinión porque realmente no me gustó tanto.
Empezamos hablando un poco de la película, se enfoca en la vida de Lucy, una mujer que tiene 32 años y aún no sabe quién es, está realmente confundida consigo misma o al menos no quería aceptar quién ella es.

Lucy has been friends with Jane for as long as she can remember, they have always been together and done all kinds of activities together, so they know each other very well... It seemed that Lucy had a certain dependence in some aspects but this is beginning to change when her best friend Jane tells her that she is leaving the country for work, strangely this is when Lucy decides to open up for the first time and tries to tell her friend that she thinks she is a lesbian, however all this created a mix of emotions and actions that none of them expected.
Lucy es amiga de Jane desde que tiene memoria, siempre han estado juntas y hecho todo tipo de actividades juntas, por lo que se conocen muy bien la una a la otra... Parecía que lucy tenía cierta dependencia en algunos aspectos pero esto empieza a cambiar cuando su mejor amiga Jane le dice que se va del país por trabajo, extrañamente aquí es cuando Lucy decide abrirse por primera vez y trata de decirle a su amiga que cree que es lesbiana, sin embargo todo esto creó una mezcla de emociones y acciones que ninguna se esperaba.

Now I would like to add my comments and explain why I didn't like it. To begin with, the film is about those feelings of confusion that we try to address about ourselves, not knowing who you are creates a certain frustration, at the same time that it makes you vulnerable in certain aspects. Dakota tried to interpret some emotions of sadness, however, I feel like I only saw her crying in her bed. Her character was very calm, docile, I felt that she failed to express more the emotions that a person who is confused and who wants to know herself feels. Also mention that this same fact makes the movie look slow, very slow and you lose interest quickly.
Ahora me gustaría añadir mis comentarios y explicar por qué no me gustó. Para empezar la película trata de esos sentimientos de confusión que tratamos de abordar sobre nosotros mismos, el no saber quién eres crea cierta frustración, al mismo tiempo que te hace vulnerable en ciertos aspectos. Dakota trató de interpretar algunas emociones de tristeza, sin embargo, siento que solamente la vi llorando en su cama. Su personaje era muy calmado, dócil, yo sentí que le faltó expresar más las emociones que siente una persona que está confundida y que quiere conocerse. También mencionar que este mismo hecho hace que la película se vea lenta, muy lenta y pierdas el interés rápidamente.
I watched this movie last week and I wasn't impressed with the whole movie, I don't understand everything that happened, the title of the movie asked a question, so I'm gonna reply with an answer, lucy was okay at last though.

Wow realmente la portada es como ese imán, que te hace pensar muchas cosas, y te lleva a querer ver esta película, la cara de la chica demuestra mucho sufrimiento, siendo todo lo contrario, a lo que refleja la portada.
