Review - 🔥 Hidden Figures -(Spa -Eng)
¡Hola amigos un gusto poder saludarles!, feliz inicio de semana espero que está sea una buena semana para todos llena de bendiciĂłn y mucha salud, este fin de semana volvĂ a ver pelĂcula luego de mucho tiempo, pareciera raro, pero es que he estado absorbido con tantas cosas que sentarme a ver una pelĂcula es un lujo, pero... ¡volvĂ! 🎊 Y valla que con una buena pelĂcula, eso me alegra, con el pie derecho como quien dice.
Si pensabas que los grandes logros obtenidos por la NASA para enviar el hombre al espacio era solo un crĂ©dito para hombres dĂ©jame decirte que estás equivocado o equivocada, si no que a travĂ©s de esta pelĂcula Hidden Figures podemos ver un amplio panorama más allá de lo que imaginamos y quĂ© el trabajo más arduo e importante era realizado por un grupo de mujeres que se mantenĂan de manera "anĂłnima" dentro de la NASA las cuales eran llamadas "computadoras" ÂżPor quĂ© serĂa? 🤷🏽‍♂️
Y es que en el año 1960, que es el escenario donde se narra está historia, un grupo de mujeres, tres especĂficamente, empiezan a sobresalir del resto: Taraji P. Henson (Katherine), Octavia Spencer (Dorothy Vaughan) y Janelle Monáe (Mary Jackson) en medio de una difĂcil situaciĂłn de discriminaciĂłn en el que ser blanco tiene más privilegios ante los negros, desde utilizar un baño, un bebedero de agua, o la biblioteca.
Hello friends a pleasure to greet you!, happy start of the week I hope this is a good week for everyone full of blessing and good health, this weekend I went back to watch a movie after a long time, it seems strange, but I have been absorbed with so many things that sitting to watch a movie is a luxury, but .... I'm back! 🎊 And with a good movie, that makes me happy, with the right foot as it were.
If you thought that the great achievements obtained by NASA to send man into space was only a credit to men let me tell you that you are wrong or mistaken, if not that through this movie Hidden Figures we can see a broad picture beyond what we imagine and what the hardest and most important work was done by a group of women who were kept "anonymous" within NASA which were called "computers" Why would it be? 🤷🏽‍♂️
And in the year 1960, which is the scenario where this story is told, a group of women, three specifically, begin to stand out from the rest: Taraji P. Henson (Katherine), Octavia Spencer (Dorothy Vaughan) and Janelle Monáe (Mary Jackson) in the midst of a difficult situation of discrimination in which being white has more privileges before blacks, from using a bathroom, a water fountain, or the library.
En esta pelĂcula podemos ver quĂ© cada una de estas mujeres estaban para hacer historia de alguna manera y otra, la que más impacto tuvo en mĂ fue la vida de Katherine creo que es el personaje en el cual más tuvo enfoque desde mi perspectiva pero sin opacar las demás historias de Dorothy y Mary.
Katherine, una mujer que desde muy joven tuvo un talento matemático que sobresalĂa de los demás ganándose un puesto en la NASA y es que ser considerada como una computadora no eran cualidades que todo el conglomerado poseĂa y el ser acreedora de tan importante talento no la mantenĂa exenta de las dificultades de la vida, siendo una mujer viuda, con tres hijas contando solo con el apoyo de su madre para salir adelante y lograr que su esfuerzo sea recompensado de alguna u otra forma.
Katherine fue la afroamericana que logro descifrar los cálculos que hicieron que John Glenn se convirtiera en el primer hombre en orbitar la tierra ¡¿IncreĂble verdad?!
In this film we can see that each of these women were there to make history in one way or another, the one that had the most impact on me was the life of Katherine, I think it is the character that had the most focus from my perspective but without overshadowing the other stories of Dorothy and Mary.
Katherine, a woman who from a very young age had a mathematical talent that stood out from the rest, earning a position at NASA and being considered as a computer were not qualities that all the conglomerate possessed and being a creditor of such an important talent did not keep her exempt from the difficulties of life, being a widowed woman with three daughters counting only with the support of her mother to get ahead and get her effort to be rewarded in some way or another.
Katherine was the African-American who managed to decipher the calculations that made John Glenn become the first man to orbit the earth Incredible right?!
Algo que me impacto en esta pelĂcula bueno en realidad fueron muchas cosas jajaja, pero era la pasiĂłn y compromiso que tenĂa con su trabajo, a pesar de que internamente batallaba con la discriminaciĂłn y el rechazo de sus compañeros y el utilizar un baño que se encontraba muy lejos porque no podĂa utilizar el baño de su edificio porque era negra, hasta que en un arrebato de ira se descargĂł con su jefe y este tomo un cartel que identificaba que los baños eran solo para blancos lo tirĂł al suelo y dijo: "acá en la NASA orinamos todos del mismo color" ¡¡booom!! 🤯 Esa escena es demasiado brutal, la que más me impacto.
Pero no todo es malo en la vida de Katherine porque en medio de tanta oscuridad llega un hombre para darle luz y alegrĂa a su vida, ya que se da la oportunidad de abrir su corazĂłn nuevamente y dejar que el amor le dĂ© esa ventaja de soñar y ser feliz no solo ella, sino toda su familia, es que es una mujer tan trabajadora que de verdad debĂa ser feliz…
ÂżPuede una mujer ganarle a una computadora? Bueno eso no parecĂa un obstáculo para Dorothy, una mujer determinada, enfocada y centrada en las cosas que querĂa lograr, ella en la NASA era la que coordinaba a este grupo de mujeres y les asignaba sus roles del dĂa hacia el trabajo de una supervisora sin serlo porque ellos consideraban que no era necesario pagar un salario de supervisora a una mujer negra.
Something that impacted me in this movie, well actually there were many things hahaha, but it was the passion and commitment she had with her work, even though internally she struggled with discrimination and rejection from her colleagues and using a bathroom that was far away because she could not use the bathroom in her building because she was black, until in a fit of anger she unloaded on her boss and he took a sign that identified that the bathrooms were only for whites and threw it to the ground and said: "here at NASA we all pee the same color" booom!!! 🤯 That scene is too brutal, the one that impacted me the most.
But not everything is bad in Katherine's life because in the middle of so much darkness comes a man to give light and joy to her life, as she gives herself the opportunity to open her heart again and let love give her that advantage to dream and be happy not only her, but all her family, she is such a hard working woman that she really had to be happy.....
Well that didn't seem to be an obstacle for Dorothy, a determined woman, focused and centered on the things she wanted to achieve, she was the one at NASA who coordinated this group of women and assigned them their roles for the day towards the work of a supervisor without being one because they considered that it was not necessary to pay a supervisor's salary to a black woman.
De Dorothy puedo ver mucha astucia jajaja ella al verse amenazada con la presencia de una poderosa máquina capaz de hacer cálculos en segundos, con la capacidad de eliminar los puestos de trabajos de todas estas mujeres se enfoca a aprender a dominar y programar está IBM algo que con mucha disciplina en domar está bestia logra, pero no fue mezquina con este conocimiento, sino que se dispuso a preparar a todas estas otras mujeres para que también aprendieran y asà ir evolucionando y no perder sus puestos de empleo...
ÂżDĂganme, si eso no es audacia?
Mary Jackson una mujer bien firme en sus ideales con una personalidad un poco extrovertida que no se dejaba de nadie jajaja ni de su marido quien fue siempre un apoyo para que ella se convirtiera en la primera mujer en estudiar en una universidad exclusivamente para blancos y no solo para blancos, sino exclusivamente para hombres, eso sà no fue una tarea fácil tuvo que ir hasta la corte y hacer que el juez le concediera una orden de poder estudiar en esta universidad, pero solo en las horas nocturnas el discurso que utilizo Mary en esta escena impacta bastante asà que les recomiendo que le prestes mucha atención.
From Dorothy I can see a lot of cunning hahaha when she was threatened with the presence of a powerful machine capable of making calculations in seconds, with the ability to eliminate the jobs of all these women she focuses on learning to master and program this IBM something that with much discipline in taming this beast achieves, but she was not mean with this knowledge, but she set out to prepare all these other women to also learn and thus evolve and not lose their jobs ....
Tell me, is that not audacity?
Mary Jackson a woman very firm in her ideals with a little extroverted personality that did not leave anyone hahaha or her husband who was always a support for her to become the first woman to study at a university exclusively for whites and not only for whites, but exclusively for men, that yes was not an easy task had to go to court and make the judge granted an order to study at this university, but only in the evening hours the speech that Mary used in this scene impacts a lot so I recommend that you pay close attention.
Esta pelĂcula la recomiendo mucho, el empoderamiento femenino está presente en los 127 minutos que dura esta pelĂcula y no se los dije antes, pero está basada en hechos de la vida real, y como les he compartido antes las pelĂculas con ese ingrediente extra hace que se sientan más especiales a mi parecer, les recomiendo si no la han visto que se tomen unos minutos de tranquilidad y puedan verla yo la vi con mis hijas correteando por toda la casa asĂ que entorpecĂan mi concentraciĂłn un poco, pero aun asĂ la disfrute bastante.
Como dato curioso, les comparto que esta pelĂcula fue nominada a tres premios Oscar en el año 2017 y no fue hasta entonces que estas mujeres salieron del anonimato, mostrando al mundo todo este excelente trabajo, gracias a la pelĂcula Hidden Figures.
Este film sin duda te potenciará a creer más en tus cualidades y tus talentos, cuando sientas que los problemas te ahogan, recuerda a estas mujeres que con todo en contra lograron sobresalir

I highly recommend this movie, female empowerment is present in the 127 minutes that this movie lasts and I did not tell you before, but it is based on real life events, and as I have shared before movies with that extra ingredient makes them feel more special in my opinion, I recommend if you have not seen it that you take a few minutes of tranquility and you can see it I saw it with my daughters running around the house so they hindered my concentration a little, but still I enjoyed it quite a bit.
As a curious fact, I share with you that this film was nominated for three Oscars in 2017 and it was not until then that these women came out of anonymity, showing the world all this excellent work, thanks to the film **Hidden Figures.
This film will undoubtedly empower you to believe more in your qualities and your talents, when you feel that the problems drown you, remember these women who with everything against them managed to excel.
