Dear Movies & TVShows community, this time I want to share with you a new review, this time of a very well known movie, which I'm sure you've heard of, and most likely have seen. Considered by many as one of the best movies of the last decade, I will give you my opinions of the movie: La La Land. It is clear that this movie is on the favorite list of many moviegoers. Starring Emma Stone and Ryan Gosling, this film stands out for its impressive aesthetics and choreography... of course, also for its great ability to convey and provoke many emotions, all this through a mixture of romance, music and drama, which undoubtedly knew how to approach in a sublime way.
From the first moment, it immerses us in a stylish world, and a vibrant musical spirit that characterizes Los Angeles. This opening is not only visually great, but it also shows you what the tone of the film will be: a celebration of life, dreams and music.... The music is very catchy, something that grabs the viewer's attention very quickly... And it transports you into this captivating artistic dynamic.

Querida comunidad de Movies & TVShows, en esta ocasión les quiero compartir una nueva reseña, esta vez de una película muy conocida, de la cual seguro han oído hablar, y es muy probable que la hayan visto.. Considerada por muchos como una de las mejores películas de la última década, les daré mis opiniones de la película: La La Land. Es claro que esta película esta en la lista de favoritos de muchos cinéfilos. Protagonizada por Emma Stone y Ryan Gosling, esta película destaco mucho por su impresionante estética y coreografía.. claro, también por su gran capacidad de transmitir y provocar muchas emociones, todo esto a través de una mezcla de romance, música y drama, que sin duda supieron abordar de una manera sublime.
Desde el primer momento, nos sumerge en un mundo con mucho estilo, y un espíritu musical vibrante que caracteriza a Los Angeles. Este inicio no sol es visualmente genial, sino que también te muestra lo que será el tono de la película: una celebración de la vida, los sueños y la música.. La música es muy pegajosa, algo que capta la atención del espectador rápidamente.. Y te transporta dentro de esta dinámica artística tan cautivadora.
The main characters here in this story are Mia and Sebastian, two big dreamers who are struggling to reach their goals and dreams in the big and competitive world of Los Angeles entertainment!!! Mia is a classic aspiring actress.... She works as a barista while trying to audition for some roles, and Sebastian is a pianist, who hopes to open his own club someday, and be recognized. Their paths cross, and from there, we will see how their lives slowly intertwine...both personally, and professionally as well.
One of the things I loved the most about this great movie, is the great chemistry, which is very palpable between Emma Stone and Ryan Gosling. Their performances are very sincere, and they really manage to transmit many intense emotions throughout the film, it is very enjoyable to see their characters interact, the relationship between them develops naturally. It's not a typical perfect love story, they have their ups and downs, their moments of joy... but also of sadness, which makes the viewer identify, and the story in general resonates more, it's more realistic...

Mia es una clásica aspirante a actriz.. Ella trabaja como una barista mientras intenta audicionar para algunos papeles, y Sebastian es un pianista, que tiene la esperanza de abrir su propio club algún día, y ser reconocido. Sus caminos se cruzan, y a partir de ahí, veremos cómo sus vidas se van entrelazando poco a poco.. tanto personalmente, como también profesionalmente.
Una de las cosas que más me encantaron de esta gran película, es la gran química, que es muy palpable entre Emma Stone y Ryan Gosling. Sus interpretaciones se perciben muy sinceras, y de verdad logran transmitir muchas emociones intensas a lo largo de toda la película, es muy disfrutable ver a sus personajes interactuar, la relación entre ellos se va desarrollando de manera natural.. No es una típica historia de amor perfecta, ellos tienen sus altibajos, sus momentos de alegría.. pero también de tristeza, que hace que el espectador se identifique, y que la historia en general resuene más, que sea más realista.
The music featured in this film deserves a special mention as well... the original songs are very memorable, I thought they were excellent.... They are perfectly integrated to the whole atmosphere, and to the narrative. Each musical number is not only a visual delight for the eyes, but it also moves the story forward and deepens a lot with the development and journey that these characters are having. Songs like “City of Stars” and “Audition” were my favorites, they are such standouts...and they stick in your head long after you've finished watching the movie.
On the other hand, I've already said it, but visually La La Land is a delight, the cinematography that the director has is spectacular... using a vibrant color palette and lighting that is reminiscent of those classic old Hollywood musicals, plus all the carefully composed scenes... wow, no doubt in technical quality I think it is one of the best I've seen. In addition, the dance numbers are brilliantly choreographed with great precision, and gracefully executed by the very talented performers, this adds an additional level of enjoyment to this story, it feels familiar, yet unique.

Están perfectamente integradas a toda la atmosfera, y a la narrativa. Cada número musical no solo es un deleite visual para los ojos, sino que también hace que la historia avance y profundiza mucho con el desarrollo y recorrido que están teniendo estos personajes. Canciones como "City of Stars" y "Audition” fueron mis favoritas, son muy destacables.. y se te quedan pegadas en la cabeza mucho después de haber terminado de ver la película.
Por otro lado, ya lo he dicho, pero visualmente La La Land es un deleite, la cinematografía que el director tiene es espectacular.. utilizando una paleta de colores vibrante y una iluminación que hace recordar a esos musicales clásicos antiguos de Hollywood, más todas las escenas cuidadosamente compuestas.. wow, sin duda en calidad técnica creo que es de las mejores que he visto. Además, los números de baile están genialmente coreografiados con mucha precisión, y ejecutados con gracia por los talentosísimos intérpretes, esto añade un nivel adicional de disfrute a esta historia, se siente familiar, y al mismo tiempo algo único.
The direction is impeccable, you can really feel the director's love for jazz and musicals. You can feel it in every frame of the film, he masterfully manages the balance between nostalgia for classic musicals and a modern experience, which makes this film feel very fresh. Despite its incredible qualities, like everything else in life, it's not perfect. There are moments where the narrative can feel a bit predictable, and I felt a few times that the pacing became a bit slow at some points. However, these are minor quibbles in a film that, for the most part, is an extremely satisfying cinematic experience.... Though clearly, when something becomes very popular, there will obviously be criticisms. Some people have argued that La La Land is overrated or that it doesn't deserve all the nominations and awards it's received...
Personally, I think that clearly those opinions are valid, but it doesn't diminish the fact that this movie is very well-made, with great heart, impressive execution, and most important of all, it has touched thousands of people, who started watching it and when they finished it they didn't feel the same, that's very significant. I believe that not all films have to be revolutionary to be works of art, and La La Land with its charm and style, manages to capture the essence of pursuing dreams, despite all the obstacles that life will put in the way.

Se siente en cada fotograma de la película, maneja con mucha maestría el equilibrio entre la nostalgia por los musicales clásicos y una experiencia moderna, que hace que esta película se sienta muy fresca. A pesar de sus increíbles cualidades, como todo en a vida, no es perfecta.. Hay momentos en los que la narrativa puede sentirse un poco predecible, y sentí algunas veces que el ritmo se volvió algo lento en algunos puntos. Sin embargo, estos son pequeños inconvenientes en una película que, en su gran parte, es una experiencia cinematográfica extremadamente satisfactoria.. Aunque claramente, cuando algo se vuelve muy popular, obviamente habrá críticas. Algunas personas han argumentado que La La Land está sobrevalorada o que no merece todas las nominaciones y premios que recibido..
Personalmente, creo que claramente esas opiniones son válidas, pero no disminuye el hecho de que esta película está muy bien hecha, con un gran corazón, una ejecución impresionante, y lo más importante de todo, ha marcado a miles de personas, que empezaron a verla y al terminarla no se sintieron igual, eso es muy significativo. Considero que no todas las películas tienen que ser revolucionarias para que sean obras de arte, y La La Land con su encanto y estilo, logra capturar toda esa esencia de perseguir los sueños, a pesar de todos los obstáculos que la vida pondrá en el camino.
The constant struggle between chasing all your dreams and the realities of everyday life... is something that many can surely relate to. Mia and Sebastian face various obstacles and sacrifices on their way to success, the story shows you all the difficulties of what it's like to try to move forward. This realism in the film adds a lot of depth, and makes the story more impactful. Another thing I liked is how the nature of love and relationships is explored, all mixed with the context of pursuing individual dreams. The relationship between the main characters is not fairy tale love, the film shows all their personal ambitions, and how they sometimes conflict with what the relationship is really about.. which leads to some tense moments. This realistic approach is one of the best things about this film.
The ending of the film is very reflective... it leaves the viewer thinking. This reflection on dreams is one of the most powerful aspects of this film. We see as always, despite the joy, there was also that feeling of faint sadness, moments of melancholy.... The transitions between the incredibly vibrant musical numbers, and the more emotional scenes are handled with great skill. This film is undoubtedly a celebration of cinema, music and dreams. It is a film that manages to be both a tribute to old musicals, as well as something modern and beautiful, showing us universal themes such as love and ambition. With incredible performances, great music, and truly exquisite direction...
La La Land is a film that is totally worth seeing and enjoying. If you haven't seen it, I invite you to give it a chance, even if musicals are not your thing, you will surely fall in love with this story. I give it a great rating of 9.8/10. While not perfect, it is certainly one of the best movies I have seen, and one that will surely be remembered for a long time. Mia y Sebastian enfrentan varios obstáculos y sacrificios en su camino hacia el éxito, la historia te muestra todas esas dificultades de lo que es intentar seguir adelante. Este realismo en la película agrega mucha profundidad, y hace que la historia sea más impactante. Otra cosa que me gusto, es como se explora la naturaleza del amor y las relaciones, todo esto mezclado con el contexto de perseguir sueños individuales. La relación entre los protagonistas no es amor de cuento de hadas, la película muestra todas las ambiciones personales de ellos, y como a veces entran en conflicto con lo que es realmente la relación.. lo que lleva a ciertos momentos de tensión. Este enfoque realista es de lo mejor de esta película.
El final de la película, es muy reflexivo.. deja al espectador pensando. Esta reflexión sobre los sueños, es de los aspectos más poderosos de esta película. Vemos como siempre, a pesar de la alegría, también hubo ese sentimiento de tristeza tenue, momentos de melancolía.. Las transiciones entre los increíbles números musicales vibrantes, y las escenas más emotivas son manejadas con mucha habilidad. Esta película sin duda es una celebración al cine, la música y a los sueños. Es una película que logra ser tanto un homenaje a los musicales antiguos, como algo moderno y hermoso, que nos muestra temas universales como lo es el amor y la ambición. Con increíbles actuaciones, una música genial, y una dirección realmente exquisita…
La La Land es una película que vale totalmente la pena ver y disfrutar. Si no la has visto, te invito a darle una oportunidad, sin importar que los musicales no sean lo tuyo, seguramente quedaras enamorado de esta historia. Le doy una gran calificación de 9.8/10. Aunque no es perfecta, ciertamente es de las mejores películas que he visto, y que seguramente será recordada por mucho tiempo. La impresión tan duraredera, y el sentimiento que logra, sin duda, la hacen única. La La Land es una película preciosa, y podría decir que difícil de apreciar para algunos. Aceptar que la persona que amas no estará junto a ti para toda la vida, pero, al mismo tiempo sentirte en paz por ello, es un sentimiento de madurez y de amor verdadero. Cuando la vi, la ame. Aunque amo la música, la verdad que los musicales no son de mis favoritos y confieso que he visto muy pocos pero me voy a atrever a darle play a este solo por la reseña que has hecho aparte son dos actores que me encantan
