Something Happens: Kuchi Kuchi Hota Hai - My review😍

After rounding up my work online, I opened a new tab on my pc so I could complete the movie I was watching. It is also a Bollywood movie titled Kuchi Kuchi Hota Hai, which means 'something happens'.

Can you guess what happened?

As I was watching the movie, my internet connection got interrupted. Already, I had received a notification from my network service provider that I had a few Mega Bites left, and I planned to buy airtime from an exchange, and then buy a data bundle with it.

Unfortunately, I forgot to buy the airtime from the exchange, and that is why my internet connection got disconnected.

I had to find a way to get an internet connection, and after I did, I placed the order for the airtime, which was supposed to be instant. Those guys pissed me off by delaying the transaction that was supposed to be instant for over 2 hours. Imagine that. It was very annoying.

Anyway, I finally received the airtime, bought a data bundle, and logged in to my Netflix account to continue watching the movie.

KUCHI KUCHI HOTA HAI

The movie captivates the heart and soul. The story also revolves around friendship and love. Fans of Bollywood movies and those who appreciate heartfelt storytelling should watch it.

Kuchi Kuchi Hota Hai tells the story of Rahul and Anjali who are friends navigating different stages of life. In the opening scene, Rahul stands with his wife's body being cremated and weeps.

Tina died after the delivery of their daughter, according to what the doctor told Rahul after the delivery of the child. He said Tina knew she would die if she kept the baby and eventually delivered it.

So, I guess she had some health issues or something like that.

She knew that Rahul loved the unborn baby so much that she didn't want to upset him by letting him suffer from the loss of the pregnancy. That's why she decided to have the baby and take the risk.

She took the risk because she thought it would be worth it. After delivery, the doctor couldn't save her because the internal bleeding was too much for them to handle.

Before her death, she left eight letter for her daughter. She requested that her daughter read the letter on the day of her birthday. Tina wanted her daughter to know the story, she also felt guilty for coming in between two friends.

On the other hand, Rahul's character went through a journey of healing after his wife died.

Rahul found solace in his daughter, and he dedicated himself to being a loving and caring father. The flashback scenes in the movie capture Rahul and Anjali's beautiful bond before Tina entered their lives.

During Rahul and Anjali's friendship days, Anjali was so good at playing basketball that she always beat Rahul each time they played together. Also, Anjali was the kind of girl who dressed and acted like a boy.

As a result of their deep friendship and shared experiences, Anjali fell in love with Rahul. She also realized that her feelings for Rahul went beyond friendship.

On the day she was supposed to confess her feelings to Rahul, she summoned all her courage and prepared to share her heart with him.

But just as she was about to give her speech, Tina, Rahul's love interest, entered. As a result of this unexpected turn of events, Anjali was heartbroken and unable to express her true feelings to Rahul. It was a bittersweet moment that added a layer of complexity to their love story.

Did I mention that Tina was the daughter of their college's principal? Yeah, she is, and it didn't take so long for Rahul to fall in love with her when they just met.

After that, Anjali had to leave college and go to where her mom was. I guess she just wanted to change her environment and heal from the heartbreak.

Years later, Rahul's daughter was finally 8 years old. On her birthday, the first birthday present she opened was her mother's letter to her.

In the letter, her mom narrated the story about how she met her dad, and expressed her wish for her daughter to bring Anjali and Rahul back together.

In another scene, Rahul's mom and daughter decided to go meet the principal of the college Anjali attended to get her address. The principal of the college happens to be Rahul's father-in-law too.

After several inquiries, they were finally able to meet the person that Anjali was staying with before she left for her mom's place.

At first, the woman hesitated and didn't want to reveal anything to Anjali and her grandma, but for some reason, she changed her mind and told them that Anjali was going to get married soon.

This made little Anjali feel sad about the fact that she might not be able to fulfil her mother's dying wish.

Instead of accepting what they were told, the little girl went to a quiet spot and prayed that God do something to ensure that the wedding didn't hold.

Guess what?

The little girl's prayer was answered, and this was confirmed when the woman received an unexpected call. The caller informed her that there wouldn't be any wedding anymore.

After the little Anjali prayed for the older Anjali's wedding to be cancelled, her innocent wish created a twist of faith.

After that scene in the movie, little Anjali met Anjali Sharma in a heartwarming encounter at a summer camp.

At summer camp, they had an unforgettable adventure filled with fun activities, games and laughter.

While they were at the summer camp, little Anjali and her grandma thought of different ideas to bring Rahul and Anjali Sharma back together.

I didn't mention that Rahul never wanted or permitted his daughter and mother to go to the summer camp, but they had to find a way to leave when he wasn't around.

To get her dad to come to the camp, she and her grandma planned to fake a cold. Little Anjali called her dad and on the phone, while speaking, she sneezed and pretended to have a cold. She knew that her dad would always find a way to get to where she was when something like that happened.

The plan worked and that was how Rahul met his best friend Anjali Sharma again.

He was surprised to see her wearing a sari, she looked different, she was no longer that Anjali who acted and dressed like a boy.

From their expression, one could tell that they were happy to see each other again, but due to the long period of not being together, they acted as if they were strangers.

Already, little Anjali and her grandma were thinking of ways to get them to bond again like before.

The first idea that came to little Anjali's mind was to bring them together through basketball. Do you know how she pulled that off?

Also, remember I mentioned earlier that they once loved to play basketball, and Anjali always won.

Little Anjali intentionally started a fight to get the attention of her dad and Anjali Sharma. You guessed right, it worked.

Anjali challenged Rahul at that spot to play with her because he didn't want to admit to the fact that he always lost to Anjali.

The movie Kuchi Kuchi Hota Hai went on from there with so many interesting events In the end, Rahul accepted the challenge and the movie continued. Through the basketball challenge, the bond and friendship they once shared reawakened, however, it was different this time, Something happened, and it was mutual between them this time. Love happened.

However, Anjali Sharma was already engaged and would get married soon. Her fiance however noticed that her heart lies with someone else and that person was her best friend Rahul.

On the day of Anjali's wedding, she couldn't stop tears from flowing down her cheek, all the while she was staring at one person, Rahul who also had tears in his eyes.

Her Fiance was able to see the love he had always wanted to see in her eyes, but it wasn't for him, but for her first love, Rahul.

The movie is a heartwarming drama and I wonder if things can ever happen like that in reality hehe. I doubt it.

For some reason, a lot of people shed tears of joy due to the fact that they know their story too.

I still wonder if things can go that way in reality hehe, it's just a drama.

And like that, Rajul and Anjali got married. Little Anjali fulfilled her mother's wish.

True love is only found in friendship, and nothing else, as is expressed in the movie. The movie showed how Rajul and Anjali's friendship transformed into love. In the end, they were able to express their feelings to each other and became a happy married couple.
