Aquaman and the lost kingdom!

A sequel to the 2018's Aquaman, this movie continued with Arthur Curry's (Jason Momoa) story as he battled to balance his duty as a father while taking up the responsibility as the ruler of Atlantis. Aquaman (known also as Arthur Curry in the movie)became the ruler of Atlantis and claimed the throne from Orm(Patrick Wilson), his half-brother, after he stopped Orm from attacking the surface world.
After Orm betrayed Arthur and his kind, Arthur decided to spare Orm’s life but imprisoned him in a remote prison desert as punishment for his crimes.

However, a supporting villain—Black Manta(David Hyde), in "Aquaman 2018" returned as the main villain in "Aquaman and the lost kingdom", seeking revenge against Aquaman for his father's death. On his journey to finding a way to exact revenge, he wielded a powerful Black Trident that gave him dark powers, these dark powers led him to ancient machines that he had to retrofit to his needs with the help of a scientist.
But these machines required the Orichalcum (specialized fuel) to keep them running. Black Manta then broke into a highly protected storage vault in the sea to take this Orichalcum and began using it—this resulted to a plague outbreak that affected the land and sea.

To stop Black Manta and his newfound powers, Arthur had to form an alliance with Orm. Arthut journeyed to the desert to free Orm, so they could stop the devastation from Black Manta.
Along the way, the truth about how Black Manta got hold of the Black Trident and his newfound power and the long-hidden dark truth about a lost kingdom and the power it had to change the fate of both land and sea came to limelight.

Review: I’d say Aquaman and the lost kingdom is well…a nice movie, but it lacks character depth (especially the villain) and an obvious storyline. That aside it is action packed and has nice visuals.
