(ESP-ENG) Venom: The Last Dance - Movie Review!
Hello friends, good vibes to all.
I think that one of the most underrated and little talked about Marvel sagas is undoubtedly Venom, over the years it has been overshadowed by other titles that are obviously better and have made much more publicity but I still consider that this was not given the attention it perhaps deserved. Personally I always liked his films and I speak in the past because it is understood that with this third installment has come to the end of this saga. Tom Hardy is a very good actor although perhaps he is not on the radar of many but it must be said that the times I've seen him act has always caught my attention. Venom is very unique, it's not your typical superhero movie and it's one that is full of constant comedy which may come as a bit of a shock to some.
This film is obviously the sequel to Carnage, the second film in 2021. Here we will see how Eddie (Tom Hardy) along with his great friend Venom are on the run from justice after the events of the second installment. Being in this situation they will be constantly and actively on the run. The thing is that now and from absolute nothingness appears a new threat and is that the creator of the symbiote, located in a distant world, wants to escape from the prison where he was put and for that he needs this peculiar duo so then he will begin a hunt to find them. They will not only be escaping from the police but also from these creatures that are a kind of hunters.
Of course, the background is a bit more extensive since we will see the army and scientists involved in the plot. This is because as it is super common the US government is always involved in these things with its exaggerated patriotism, its secret facilities and with this character that will always exist: the general who seeks to be above everything. One is used to these plots but they are still tiring and not very novel and they almost always end in the same way. As I said Venom is out of the conventional, at least in this movie we will see very little action, only at the end, and a somewhat strange plot because it is as if we were watching a “sitcom”.
This makes it feel a little more human because, and it's worth the redundancy, they humanize the symbiotes much more. Venom has always been charismatic, funny and stubborn but here he is perhaps a little more familiar showing us very cool scenes, I come back and repeat more towards the end. I emphasize the end of the movie because that's where it all happens, the last 45 minutes is when the story begins to close and it's the best moment of the film. The first hour is totally irrelevant, it helps us a little to understand several things but it could have been much less time invested for that. This is not to say that it is a disaster, I enjoyed it because I understand the nature of the film.

As for everything that has to do with the visuals is decent, the CGI used I think it complies especially in the last scenes where you see a lot of movement, I've always thought that making these symbiotes and make them look as “real” as possible is something complicated. But well, I'm not complaining too much in this aspect. Are there bad things? - Yes, there are. Many inconsistencies in the plot and things that seem unimportant but when you think about it, they don't make sense. For example: Eddie is located in any city through the security cameras in the streets but a whole family is not seen entering a military base. Total nonsense. These details take away the seriousness of the movies.
In theory it's the end of the Venom saga, but the end of the film makes you think otherwise. There is a post-credits scene by the way. The villain in question is Knull, one of the most powerful of Marvel, hence it is possible that from now on we will see more of him. In Spider-Man or another film? - We'll have to wait. I liked the movie, not more than the previous ones but not bad. I give it a 6/10. If you are a fan of Marvel and these characters I would recommend you to see it. It lasts a little less than 2 hours. I leave the trailer here.
¡Un abrazo a todos, nos vemos en la próxima!
Well my people that's all for today, I hope you liked it.

Saludosss!
