Velma | I love it, you'd hate it

I was going to watch the series again, but now the app on the TV tells me I have to download Max, because HBO Max is gone, and when I hit download, it tells me it's not available yet, that is, plus I can't even use it from the browser because it's not available for this region. I don't hate them because I don't have enough energy to do it, so while I drink a beautifully hot red tea that I burned my hand with, I'll be writing the review of Velma, which everyone already seems to have forgotten, but here I am waiting for the second season which is already confirmed, and that alone makes me like the series so much more, I love it, you don't know the sadistic and idiotic smile I have on my face.

This series is a version of what could have been the origin of how Velma, Fred, Daphne and Norville, who is Shaggy, came together in what would become the group of meddling hippies who solved mysteries and saved the day in unexpected ways. Here Velma is going to be incriminated in a series of murders, so she will have to start investigating to try to clear her name, find the murderer, only that as the chapters go by we will find many obstacles that will make Velma's job difficult, as she is the victim of a series of hallucinations that can kill her if they become very real, so she will have to face the hallucinations, the murders, the murderer, and the disappearance of her mother that left her marked for life.

Iba a ver de nuevo la serie, pero ahora la aplicación en el televisor me dice que tengo que descargar Max, pues HBO Max ya no está, y cuando le doy a descargar, me dice que no está disponible todavía, o sea, además de que ni siquiera puedo usarlo desde el navegador porque no está disponible para esta región. No los odio porque no tengo energía suficiente para hacerlo, así que mientras tomo un té rojo hermosamente caliente con el que me quemé la mano, estaré escribiedo la reseña de Velma, que ya todo el mundo parece haber olvidado, pero aquí estoy yo esperando la segunda temporada que ya está confirmada, y solo eso hace que me guste mucho más la serie, que la ame, no saben la sonrisa sádica e idiota que tengo en la cara.

Esta serie es una versión de lo que podría haber sido el origen de cómo se unieron Velma, Fred, Daphne y Norville, que es Shaggy, en lo que se convertiría en el grupo hippies entrometidos que resolvían misterios y salvaban el día de forma inesperada. Aquí Velma va a ser incriminada en una serie de asesinatos, así que tendrá que comenzar a investigar para tratar de limpiar su nombre, encontrar al asesino, solo que con el pasar de los capítulos nos encontraremos con muchas obstaculizaciones que le harán a Velma el trabajo difícil, pues es víctima de una serie de alucinaciones que pueden llegar a matarla si se vuelven muy reales, así que tendrá que enfrentarse a las alucinaciones, a los asesinatos, al asesino, y a la desaparición de su madre que la dejó marcada de por vida.

I love this series, since I saw the trailer I knew what kind of series it was going to be and every drop of my blood boiled with excitement to finally watch it, until it came out and I couldn't do anything but feel in complete euphoria while the rest of the world hated the series and that only made me like it more. The series is good and it's bad at the same time, but it's not bad in a bad way, but in a good way, because the black and cruel comedy they portray in the series is one of the most real things in the world today, it offends everyone equally, and that's something that very few people understood, because they do, Fred is the male version of a dumb, beautiful, wealthy blonde, Norville loves Velma and Velma loves how he loves her, Daphne is the popular girl who is cruel to everyone and abandoned Velma, Fred doesn't even recognize Velma because she's not attractive, and Velma is the worst in the whole series, and that's her reason for being.

As the chapters go by everything is going to become more and more unbearable, although for me it was only increasing the emotion, keeping me in an eternal climax that I still have today when I remember the series. I know I said everything gets more unbearable the more the series progresses, but that doesn't mean it's bad. I know I'm a very weird person and the way I see and perceive things is usually much weirder than me, so I don't understand the visceral hate that the series unleashed in the world, I mean, we already know that millenials and boomers are the real glass generation, so they will complain about anything, well, it's not that I don't understand, I just don't see the point that they sabotaged the series and it has a 1.5 on IMBD, I died laughing when I went to look for the images and saw the score it had.

Amo esta serie, desde que vi el tráiler ya sabía qué tipo de serie iba a ser y cada gota de mi sangre hervía de emoción por finalmente verla, hasta que salió y no podía hacer nada más que sentirme en completa euforia mientras el resto del mundo odiaba la serie y eso solo hacía que a mí me gustara más. La serie es buena y es mala al mismo tiempo, pero no es mala en un mal sentido, si no en uno bueno, pues la comedia negra y cruel que representan en la serie es de las cosas más reales actuales en el mundo, se ofende a todo el mundo por igual, y eso es algo que muy poca gente entendió, porque sí, Fred es la versión masculina de una rubia tonta, hermosa y adinerada, Norville ama a Velma y Velma ama como él la ama, Daphne es la chica popular que es cruel con todo el mundo y abandonó a Velma, Fred ni siquiera reconoce a Velma porque no es atractiva, y Velma es la peor de toda la serie, y esa es su razón de ser.

Con el pasar de los capítulos todo se va a volver cada vez más insoportable, aunque para mí solo fue aumentando la emoción, manteniéndome en un clímax eterno que aún tengo hoy al recordar la serie. Sé que dije que todo se vuelve más insoportable mientras más avanza la serie, pero eso no quiere decir que sea malo. Sé que soy una persona muy rara y la forma en que veo y percibo las cosas suele ser mucho más rara que yo, así que no entiendo el odio visceral que la serie desató en el mundo, digo, ya sabemos que los millenials y los boomers son la verdadera generación de cristal, así que se van a quejar de cualquier cosa, bueno, no es que no entienda, es que no le veo sentido a que hayan saboteado la serie y tenga un 1.5 en IMBD, morí de risa cuando fui a buscar las imágenes y vi la puntuación que tenía.

With everything I said above I just wanted to say that while almost all, if not all, the characters are unbearable, they are full of stereotypes completely, and almost everything they say or do can be questioned and considered bad, it does not make the series bad per se, as it is just a representation of reality from Mindy Kaling's perception, and while it represents bad things, questionable things, detestable attitudes and horrible thoughts, the series is not bad, because it isn't, it's just that, if it wasn't clear to you, it's not for everyone, because it becomes too real, too common, since almost everything the characters say or do are actions that we and the people around us carry out almost every day, or that they did at some point in their life and want to forget it, then, as the series reminds them of it, and they feel guilt and shame and reflect that in all the insults they dedicate to the series.

As I watched the series I felt like I was watching She-Hulk all over again, the series being HBO's most watched series, everyone's hate overflowing everywhere, and the rest of us laughing at those who complained, who were the ones who consumed it the most, and still hated it and still watched it, while the rest of us enjoyed it, understood the rationale behind it all being as awful as it was, and that that didn't mean the series was automatically bad. It was a very good January, the series entertained me more than I expected, and I still enjoy the suffering of those who slit their wrists because they didn't like it and it ruined their childhood in their 30s and 40s. I can't stand such ridiculous people.

Con todo lo que he dicho anteriormente solo quise decir que si bien casi todos, si no todos, los personajes son insoportables, están llenos de estereotipos por completo, y casi todo lo que dicen o hacen puede ser cuestionado y considerado malo, no hace que la serie sea mala en sí, pues es solo una representación de la realidad desde la percepción de Mindy Kaling, y si bien representa cosas malas, cosas cuestionables, actitudes detestables y pensamientos horribles, la serie no es mala, porque no lo es, solo que, si no les quedó claro, no es para todo el mundo, pues llega a ser demasiado real, demasiado común, ya que casi todo lo que dicen o hacen los personajes son acciones que nosotros y las personas a nuestro alrededor llevan a cabo casi todos los días, o que lo hicieron en algún momento de su vida y quieren olvidarlo, entonces, como la serie se los recuerda, y sienten culpa y vergüenza y reflejan eso en todos los insultos que le dedican a la serie.

Mientras veía la serie sentía que estaba viendo de nuevo She-Hulk, la serie siendo la más vista de HBO, el odio de todo el mundo desbordándose por todos lados, y los demás riéndonos de quienes se quejaban, que eran quienes más la consumían, y la seguían odiando y la seguían viendo, mientras que el resto la disfrutábamos, entendíamos la razón de ser de que todo fuera tan espantoso como lo era, y que eso no significaba que la serie fuera mala automáticamente. Fue un muy bien enero, la serie me entretuvo más de lo que esperaba, y sigo disfrutando el sufrimiento de quienes se cortaban las venas porque no les gustó y les arruinó la infancia a los 30y 40 años de edad. No soporto a gente tan ridícula.

I don't know what else to say, a transformer on one of the poles started to burn and I lost my concentration completely. Fucking world. Watch the trailer, that's the litmus test for watching the series, if it doesn't make you laugh, if you don't like all the cruel jokes and full of stereotypes they make in those few minutes, don't watch the series, because everything is exponentially gigantic and you're just going to waste your time watching something you won't enjoy, nor will you understand.

Ya no sé qué más decir, comenzó a quemarse un transformador de uno de los postes y perdí la concentración por completo. Puto mundo. Vean el tráiler, esa es la prueba de fuego para ver la serie, si no les da risa, si no les agradan todos los chistes crueles y llenos de estereotipos que hacen en esos pocos minutos, no vean la serie, porque todo es exponencialmente gigante y solo van a perder su tiempo viendo algo que no van a disfrutar, ni van a entender.
