Totally Killer | Maybe if she did do blow jobs, she'd still be alive

I hesitated a lot before watching this movie and I'm glad I did, because I know I had a good time, I just don't know if it was really worth it. The movie is very good, but it is also very bad, although maybe bad is not the word, but it does have too many moments where it provokes you to look to the side and ignore everything that is happening because you can't stand the giant amount of grief it gives, it gets to be horrible and hilarious at the same time. I laughed too much and it had some good moments, as well as some very gory moments that I didn't quite expect, but I liked them, and it also has a lot of bad moments, but enjoyable, I think.

Totally Killer, and I keep wondering why they gave it that name, the truth, follows Jaime, played by Kiernan Shipka, a 17 year old teenager who ends up involved in a certain way with a killer who came back to kill after 35 years, then in that process Jaime is going to travel to the past, just to the day of the first murder, where she will try at all costs to prevent the killer from starting his killing spree, besides catching him, so that in the future someone she loves very much won't die.

Dudé mucho antes de ver esta película y me alegro de haberlo hecho, porque sé que pasé un buen rato, solo que no sé si realmente valió la pena. La película es muy buena, pero también es muy mala, aunque quizás mala no sea la palabra, pero sí tiene demasiados momentos en los que provoca mirar hacia un lado e ignorar todo lo que está sucediendo porque no se soporta la cantidad gigante de pena ajena que da, llega a ser horrible e hilarante al mismo tiempo. Me reí demasiado y tuvo momentos buenos, así como momentos muy sangrientos que no esperaba del todo, pero me agradaron, y así mismo tiene una gran cantidad de momentos malos, pero disfrutables, creo.

Totally Killer, y me sigo preguntándo por qué le dieron ese nombre, la verdad, sigue a Jaime, interpretada por Kiernan Shipka, una adolescente de 17 años que termina involucrada de cierta forma con un asesino que regresó a matar después de 35 años, entonces en ese proceso Jaime va a viajar al pasado, justo al día del primer asesinato, donde tratará a toda costa de evitar que el asesino comience con su ola de asesinato, además de atraparlo, para que así en el futuro no muera alguien a quien quiere mucho.

One of my favorite moments was when a teenager was expressing how he felt about everything that was happening, and even Jaime herself was perplexed looking at him as if the world had stopped, and then they end with the phrase: a man showing his feelings, impressive. I remember and I laugh again, I loved that part, you have to see it.

Lo sé, esta película parece un arroz con mango, y es justo por esa razón por la que tardé tantos meses en verla, porque pareciera que no tuviera ni cabeza ni pies, y sorprendentemente, sí tiene cabezas y pies, solo que no donde deberían estar, así que para disfrutar por completo la pelicula desde un principio, hay que entender que no es para nada una película seria, que es una película dominguera perfecta para ver en grupo y criticarla, reírse de lo rídicula que puede llegar a ser, y reírse aún más fuerte cuando de verdad da risa, que seguramente es diferente para cada persona, pero sí tiene muy buena comedia.

Prácticamente toda la comedia está basada en el shock que tiene Jaime en cuanto a cómo era el mundo 35 años antes, casi cada cinco minutos ella tenía que recordarse que las cosas antes eran diferentes y nada funcionaba igual, aunque en la película exageraron las cosas, pero no creo que haya sido muy diferente, la verdad. Uno de mis momentos favoritos fue cuando un adolescente estaba expresando cómo se sentía por todo lo que estaba pasando, y hasta la misma Jaime se quedó perpleja mirándolo como si el mundo se hubiera detenido, y luego terminan con la frase: un hombre demostrando sus sentimientos, impresionante. Me acuerdo y me vuelve a dar el ataque de risa, amé esa parte, tienen que verla.

Don't be surprised if the movie reminds you of Happy Death Day, because it is from the same producers, so you can get rid of that thorn, and the good thing is that it is similar only in the concept of time travel, although Happy Death Day is something else what happens, but the same, in both movies they are implemented in different ways, and although there is a similarity, there is no possible way to compare them and say that they are the same or that Totally Killer is a copy of Happy Death Day, and there are idiotic people who think that kind of thing without analyzing what they have in front of them.

Another thing I liked was that there is a real mystery to solve, there is a real killer killing people, and since he wears a mask, they don't know who he is, and they will spend the whole movie trying to find out who he is, or who he was, considering it was in the past, and it will be who they least imagine, although I did imagine it, but I discarded it because it didn't seem possible, so place your bets during the movie and be surprised at the end.

No se sorprendan si la película les llega a recordar a Happy Death Day, pues es de los mismos productores, así que se pueden sacar esa espina, y lo bueno es que se asemeja solo en el concepto de viajes en el tiempo, aunque es Happy Death Day es otra cosa lo que pasa, pero igual, en ambas películas son implementadas de formas diferentes, y si bien existe la semejansa, no existe alguna forma posible de compararlas y decir que son iguales o que Totally Killer es la copia de Happy Death Day, y es que hay gente idiota que piensa ese tipo de cosas sin analizar lo que tienen en frente.

Otra de las cosas que me gustaron fue que hay un misterio de verdad que resolver, hay de verdad un asesino matando gente, y como usa máscara, no saben quién es, y se la van a pasar toda la película tratando de descubrir quién es, o quién fue, teniendo en cuenta que fue en el pasado, y va a ser quien menos se imaginan, aunque yo sí lo imaginé, pero lo descarté porque no parecía posible, así que hagan sus apuestas durante la película y sorpréndanse al final.

I love the representation of the lgbtqia+ community here, which is the most insignificant thing you will ever see, but for a second you see a lgbtqia+ pride flag and it made me feel weird, then they gave the justification of why that flag was there and I was happy, it was worth watching the movie, just for that.

Here I leave you with the trailer, and surprisingly, both the trailer, and me, and the synopses, avoid saying something important that happens at the beginning of the movie, that I would have told you, but I didn't want to be more of a black sheep than I already am. El final fue demasiado rápido, de eso no hay duda, fue como una cachetada, y ni siquiera viste quién te dio la cachetada, o sea, déjame saborear todo lo que está pasando, que es demasiado, no resuelvas todo en cinco minutos y me dejes con una sensación fea, joder, que se hace el esfuerzo de ver una película que de verdad no provoca ver, para que la terminen de esa forma. Eso sí, amo la representación de la comunidad lgbtqia+ aquí, que es la cosa más insignificante que van a llegar a ver, pero durante un segundo se ve una bandera del orgullo lgbtqia+ y se me hizo raro, después dieron la justificación de por qué estaba esa bandera ahí y fui feliz, valio la pena ver la película, solo por eso.

Aquí les dejo el trailer, y sorprendentemente, tanto el trailer, como yo, como las sinopsis, evitamos decir algo importante que sucede al principio de la película, que yo les hubiera dicho, pero no quería ser más la oveja negra de lo que ya soy. Si van a ver la película, háganlo con la intención de reírse de ella, con ella, de criticarla, y de sorprenderse a veces, además de ver mucha sangre, cosa que nunca me esperé.
