Reborn as a Vending Machine, I Now Wander the Dungeon | Better than expected

This is one of those anime that I started watching just to see if I would end up liking it, and well, I loved it more than I expected, because it's within what I love to see lately, which are things that have no romance at all, are almost entirely wholesome, and seem to be entirely just filler, because there aren't that many traumatic events that give tense moments or change the characters in a very drastic way, and yes, even if there are tense moments here, they're going to be starring a vending machine, or vending machine, or whatever you know it as, so with a character like that, even if it's about to destroy the world, it's not going to feel like as much of a series as it should, which it is, and it will.

This iseaki is amazing, it takes something that could be mediocre and creates a more compelling, consistent and believable story than many others out there. We have the protagonist, who we never know his name, who is a fan of vending machines and knows everything there is to know about them, he is a specialist, an expert, knows all the types and there is no one to beat him in knowledge about them, and to no one's surprise, or everyone's surprise, a vending machine ends up killing him in the most ridiculous way possible, that opening scene still makes me laugh, then, after dying, he revives in another world as a vending machine, reward or punishment? curse or blessing? We'll only know as we see everything they're going to show us here.

Este es uno de esos animes que comencé a ver solo para ver si me terminaban gustando, y bueno, me encantó más de lo que esperaba, porque está dentro de lo que me encanta ver ultimamente, que son cosas que no tienen nada de romance, son casi por completo wholesome, y parecen que son en su totalidad solo relleno, porque no hay tantos eventos traumáticos que den momentos tensos o cambien a los personajes de una forma muy drástica, y sí, aunque aquí haya momentos tensos, van a estar protagonizados por una máquina expendedora, o una expendora automática, o cómo sea que la conozcan, así que con un personaje de ese tipo, incluso aunque esté a punto de destruirse el mundo, no va a parecer tan serie como debería serlo, que lo es, y lo parecerá.

Este iseaki es increíble, toma algo que podría ser mediocre y crea una historia más convincente, consistente y creíble que muchas otras que hay por ahí. Tenemos al protagonista, al que nunca conocemos su nombre, que es fanático de las máquinas expendedoras y sabe todo lo que hay que saber de ellas, es especialista, experto, conoce todos los tipos y no hay nadie que le gane en conocimiento sobre ellas, y para sorpresa de nadie, o de todos, una máquina expendedora lo termina matando de la forma más rídicula posible, esa escena incial me sigue dando risa, entonces, después de morir, revive en otro mundo como una máquina expendedora, ¿premio o castigo? ¿maldición o bendición? Solo lo sabremos mientras veamos todo lo que nos van a mostar aquí.

That's another of the ocsas they did well, that Hakkon thanks to the knowledge in his other life of the vending machines, paying the price, Hakkon can transform into any type of vending machine, although he will come to have a limit of transformations established according to the time in which he does it, so he doesn't abuse his ability, but still, it is a great advantage, and he will do things that we would never think of, for example, he can become a vending machine for dry ice, or hot water, he became a washing machine, and the one that made me laugh the most because of the reaction I had, was a machine that sold products for menstruation, there I was very shocked, then I laughed, because I did not expect it at all.

Una de las cosas que hicieron muy bien, es que a pesar de que Hakkon, como lo llegaremos a conocer, nuestro protagonista, puede pensar como cualquier persona, al ser una máquina expendedora no puede hablar a menos que sea con frases predeterminadas, y eso es a la vez una ventaja y desventaja, porque nos da una perspectiva completamente diferente de lo necesario que es el lenguaje y que muchas veces nos rendimos cuando la comunicación es casi imposible con alguien, en vez de buscar alternativas que sirvan para comunicarnos, sin sacrificar lo que queremos decir, aunque muchas veces aquí Hakkon va a tener que rogar porque entiendan las cosas solo por intuición o suposiciones, además de que muchas veces la curiosidad de las personas es lo que las lleva a entender el uso de las cosas que Hakkon les vende o les da.

Esa es otra de las ocsas que hicieron bien, que Hakkon gracias al conocimiento en su otra vida de las máquinas expendedoras, pagando el precio, Hakkon se puede transformar en cualquier tipo de máquina expendedora, aunque llegará a tener un límite de transformaciones establecidos según el tiempo en que lo haga, para que así no abuse de su habilidad, pero igual, es una gran ventaja, y hará cosas que jamás llegaríamos a pensar, por ejemplo, se llega a convertir en una máquina expendedora de hielo seco, o de agua caliente, se llegó a convertir en una lavadora, y la que más risa me dio por la reacción que tuve, fue la de una máquina que vendía productos para la menstruación, ahí quedé muy en shock, después me reí, pues no lo esperaba en absoluto.

Menti, my favorite transformation or the one that made me laugh the most was not when Hakkon turned into a vending machine for menstruation products, because I remembered that in one chapter they are going to be on an expedition in a town where ghosts, zombies, skeletons and all that kind of specters live, and Hakkon is going to spend a whole night throwing religious stuff at them to see if he exorcises them or scares them away, and he will not succeed, but the next day the whole outside of the inn where they were will be full of things related to all kinds of religions and they will not know why, and Hakkon will not explain them either, because it does not make sense, the religions of that world, if they have any, because I do not remember that they were shown, will never and never be the same as those of the world where Hakkon came from.

No crean que por ser una máquina expendedora nuestra protagonista, no tendremos peleas, pues sí, habrá más peleas de las que podría haber imaginado, y Hakkon participará, de maneras que nunca veríamos a una máquina expendedora participar, pero sí, participará, y será muy divertido, desde que usó su peso para matar a un demonio cayéndole encima, eso no se lo van a esperar cuando suceda, o cuando les enseñó a usar el efecto efervecesnte de la menta y el refresco para enfrentarse a un sapo en llamas, creo, ya no recuerdo qué tipo de criatura esa, solo sé no solo gracias a su conocimiento en máquinas expendedoras, si no al conocimiento en general de ciencia y de cómo funcionan los productos, puede hacer cosas que nunca antes las personas en el Dungeon habían visto, no solo porque Hakkon era de otro mundo, si no porque eran hechas con cosas que no existían ahí.

Menti, mi transformación favorita o la que me dio más risa no fue cuando Hakkon se convirtió en una máquina expendedora de productos para la menstruación, pues recordé que en un capítulo van a estar de expedición en un pueblo donde habitan los fantasmas, zombies, esqueletos y todo ese tipo de espectros, y Hakkon va a pasar toda una noche lánzandoles cosas religiosas para ver si los exorcizaba o los espantaba, y no lo va a lograr, pero al día siguiente todo el exterior de la posada donde estaban estará llenas de cosas relacionadas a todo tipos de religiones y no van a saber por qué, y Hakkon tampoco se los va a explicar, pues no tiene sentido, las religiones de ese mundo, si es que tienen, pues no recuerdo que las mostraran, no serán iguales jamás y nunca a las del mundo del que Hakkon vino.
