Gunpowder Milkshake | I just love to watch women killing men

I'm definitely a simple person, I watch a movie where women are killing men, and I'm happy for a long time. This movie is one of those signals that the universe constantly sends me to tell me that many times the things I don't like, is only because they are made or starred by men in a very poor and sad way, then, after watching this movie I realized that it's not that I don't like the action genre, it's that I don't like it when it's starred by a man, because even if I see a bad movie, I don't like it when it's starred by a man, but that I don't like it when it stars a man, because even if I see a bad action movie starring women, I enjoy it more than a halfway decent movie starring a man, and that's okay, besides, in general, there are very few decent action movies.

I didn't want to describe this movie as feminist, but it is, because just because it has female leads it already gets shit on, and if it's feminist, already half the world hates it more. There are many things happening in this movie, a murderous mother abandons her daughter in the middle of a job where she has to kill someone in front of her, 15 years go by, the daughter becomes a murderer too, a job does not go well at all, an eight year old girl ends up in the middle of all that killing, and like any person with a good moral, even if she works killing people, she has to be protected, and to protect her many more people end up dying, especially men, as it should be.

Definitivamente soy una persona simple, veo una película donde las mujeres se la pasan matando a hombres, y soy feliz por mucho tiempo. Esta película es una de esas señales que me manda el universo constantemente para decirme que muchas veces las cosas que no me gustan, es solo por el hecho de que están hechas o protagonizadas por hombres de una forma muy pobre y triste, entonces, después de ver esta película me di cuenta de que no es que a mí no me guste el género de acción, si no que no me gusta cuando quien la protagoniza es un hombre, pues aunque vea una película mala de acción protagonizada por mujeres, la disfruto más que una película medianamente decente protagonizada por un hombre, y está bien, además, en general, hay muy pocas películas decentes de acción.

No quería describir esta película como feminista, pero lo es, porque simplemente por el hecho de que tenga mujeres protagonistas ya le hechan mierda, y si es feminista, ya medio mundo la odia más. Hay muchas cosas sucediendo en esta película, una madre asesina abandona a su hija en medio de un trabajo donde tiene que matar a alguien frente a ella, pasan 15 años, la hija se convierte en asesina también, un trabajo no sale del todo bien, una niña de ocho años termina en medio de toda esa matanza, y como toda persona con una buena moral, aunque trabaje asesinando gente, hay que protegerla, y por protegerla mucha más gente termina muriendo, especialmente hombres, como debería ser.

I put this movie on because I was going to start playing one of my offline games and I wanted to have some background so I could concentrate well on the game, and well, I ended up stopping playing because I was much more interested in the movie, it was fun, especially in the sense that I expected absolutely nothing from the movie, I didn't even know who was acting, so from waiting, I expected absolutely nothing, just like with the men, only here I did get fun and something minimally interesting, not like with the men.

This is not an excellent movie, but it's not the worst movie out there either, for example, it's better than Fast and Furious, although that's not fair, as almost anything is better than that these days. One of my favorite things about watching these types of movies, is watching people publicly complaining about how much they suck, how bad the acting is, how it lacks originality, how the shots are copies of other movies, and watching their arguments go down the drain, or end up getting shoved up their ass, when the same arguments are used with movies they like, that objectively, and maybe a little subjectively, are worse than the movie they're criticizing. It's kind of like, don't opine so drastically about a movie that is not sold as the big thing, when you idealize and have on a pedestal movies that are worse, just, don't.

Puse esta película porque iba a ponerme a jugar uno de mis juegos offline y quería tener algo de fondo para poder concentrarme bien en el juego, y bueno, terminé dejando de jugar porque me interesó mucho más la película, fue divertida, sobre todo en el sentido de que no esperaba absolutamente nada de la película, ni siquiera sabía quienes actuaban, así que de esperar, no esperaba absolutamente nada, como con los hombres, solo que aquí sí recibí diversión y algo minimamente interesante, no como con los hombres.

Esta no es una película excelente, pero tampoco es la peor película que exista, por ejemplo, es mejor que Rápidos y Furiosos, aunque no es justo, pues casi cualquier cosa es mejor que eso actualmente. Una de mis cosas favoritas al ver este tipo de películas, es ver a gente quejándose públicamente de lo mucho que apestan, de lo malas que son las actuaciones, de que no tiene originalidad, de que las tomas son copias de otras películas, y ver cómo sus argumentos se van por el desague, o se los terminan metiendo por el culo, cuando los mismos argumentos son usados con las películas que les gustan, que objetivamente, y quizás un poco subjetivamente, son peores que la película que está criticando. Es tipo, no opines tan drásticamente sobre una película que no se vende como la gran cosa, cuando tu idealizas y tienes en un pedestal películas que son peores, just, don't.

One of my favorite things about this movie was having Karen Gillan, Lena Headey, Angela Bassett, Carla Gugino, and Michelle Yeoh, together in one movie completely owning their existence battling against people who are just trying to crush them just because they are women. At some point in the movie, this is spoiler, but I still don't care, I hated that character and that conversation, a man is going to be saying he loves his daughters, he has 4 of them, but he never understood them and he feels like a stranger in his house, then, he had a son, and his life made all the sense in the world and he felt grateful to exist, but then his son was killed and it doesn't hurt that he was killed, if not the worst thing is that he is a stranger in his house again.

At that moment I just thought I wish someone would cut out his tongue, stick it up his ass, then boil his ass, so at least one part of his body would be where he deserves to be, or someone would cut off his arms and legs, and take care of him, but every night for dinner feed him the shit he shits out during the day. I'm sorry, but I'm not sorry. I'm at a point where mentally I have no filters and I think it's completely normal to write that kind of stuff without giving any warning, it is what it is, but, what is it? I'm just trying to enjoy the small and rare moments of euphoria that my bipolarity gives me.

Una de mis cosas favoritas de esta película fue tener a Karen Gillan, Lena Headey, Angela Bassett, Carla Gugino, y Michelle Yeoh, juntas en una película siendo completamente dueñas de su existencia batallando contra gente que solo las intante aplastar solo porque son mujeres. En algún momento de la película, esto es spoiler, pero igual no me importa, odié ese personaje y esa conversación, un hombre va a estar diciendo que ama a sus hijas, tiene 4 de ellas, pero que nunca las comprendió y se siente como un extraño en su casa, entonces, tuvo un hijo, y su vida tuvo todo el sentido del mundo y se sintió agradecido de existir, pero entonces su hijo fue asesinado y no le duele que haya sido asesinado, si no que lo peor es que vuelve a ser un extraño en su casa.

En ese momento yo solo pensé en que ojalá alguien le cortara la lengua, se la metiera en el culo, luego le cocieran el culo, para que así al menos una parte de se cuerpo estuviera donde se merece estar, o que alguien le cortara los brazos y las piernas, y lo cuidara, pero todas las noches de cena le diera de comer la mierda que caga durante el día. Lo siento, pero no lo siento. Estoy en un momento donde mentalmente no tengo filtros y creo completamente normal escribir ese tipo de cosas sin dar ninguna advertencia, it is what it is, but, what is it? Solo estoy tratando de disfrutar los pequeños y escasos momentos de euforia que me da mi bipolaridad.

Watch this movie without any expectations, the performances are decent, the story has several plot holes and the characters of Angela, Michelle, and Carla deserved a better development or at least more screen time, yes, I know Karen and Lena are the main characters, but still, I wanted more of those three, I love them too much. There you have the trailer, this is one of those trailers that I like and don't like, because they show everything, but at the same time they are a faithful representation of the movie, so there are a lot of mixed feelings.

Acabo de darme cuenta de que la película es de netflix y la vi en prime, fue raro.

Vean esta película sin ninguna expectativa alguna, las actuaciones son decentes, la historia tiene varios huecos argumentales y los personajes de Angela, Michelle, y Carla merecían un mejor desarrollo o al menos mayor tiempo en pantalla, sí, sé que Karen y Lena son las protagonistas, pero igual, yo quería más de aquellas tres, me encantan demasiado. Ahí tienen el trailer, este es uno de esos trailer que me gustan y no me gustan, pues muestran todo, pero a la vez son una fiel representación de la película, entonces hay muchos sentimientos encontrados.

I just realized the movie is from netflix and I watched it on prime, it was weird.
