Review of Action/Thriller : Vedaa (No Spoiler)

John Abraham, Sharvari Vaag, Abhishek Banerjee's thriller drama film Vedaa has arrived in theaters and because there is also Stree 2 and Akshay Kumar's film Khel-Khel, I thought who will come to see Veda but Bhai Saheb, this is on 15th August. Is it a wonder of a holiday or John Abraham's fan following? The theater was more houseful than the game. Brother, there was a huge audience in the theater. So, I watched the movie and how is it?

First of all give an award to Abhishek Banerjee, he is there in both Stree 2 and Veda, and there is a world of difference between the two in the character representation, where on one hand, he is in a comic role in Stree 2 and here he is brutal. Hats off to brother Abhishek Banerjee in the role of villain.

There is a girl named Veda who is struggling for her survival and identity because the main topic of this film is upper caste, lower caste and some backward thinking. The high caste people who follow the rules do not allow Veda or anyone like her to move forward or have relations with the upper caste people and Veda has also been subjected to some atrocities. Now she has to become strong and take revenge from everyone, in which her John will help her. Now what will happen in between and what is the revenge story of Veda, you will find in the movie only and John, whenever he comes forward, comes with great acting and action. But by counting his dialogues there will be only 10-20. The rest of the time he is just acting with his eyes, but brother, in today's times this topic seems very old.

Even the first half is so long that I started thinking at one point that today is a movie without interval. So many cuts could have been made and it could have been fast pasted, isn't this the comfort of the movie? The disclaimer in the beginning is a long one and after reading it completely, the makers have passed the time in just that. On top of that, there is an action scene in the court in the climax. There is not even a single policeman, as shown in the trailer, the girl is learning boxing with all her heart, but why is there no point in her learning boxing in the entire movie, just to give five punches to the villain in the end. Learned boxing, hey , look, the movie is outdated, the scenes are too stretched, which makes the movie feel too long, but performance wise, it's all good from the actors, I won't blame them, it would have been better if the screen was tighter, the movie was family friendly. If you want to pass time then you can go watch it. Overall from me the movie is 2.5 out of five stars. It is a very average movie.
