I have heard from my parents in the 80s and early 90s, Pakistani Cinema was at its peak and people were crazy about the movies created by Pakistani directors and producers.

But with the passage of time, the popularity of Pakistani Cinema started to decrease and the popularity of Indian Cinema started to increase.

As we are neighbouring countries. Any movie produced/made in India was also playing in Pakistan. When I grew up, it was all Indian media and films that were shown in Pakistan and at that time Shahrukh Khan was at its peak.

He was a growing superstar in the 2003 era, I became his fan and started to watch almost all his movies. In all the movies there was this movie that touched me a lot.

the name of the movie was Kal Ho Na Ho !!! If I do remember correctly, I watched this movie on my cousin's computer when I visited his home. It was just a casual visit but the movie made me cry a lot.

The story of the movie was that the boy ( Shah Rukh Khan ) fell in love with the girl ( pretty Zinta) and later he got to know that he was ill and he was gonna die soon.

There was another boy ( Saif Ali Khan ) who also liked that girl, Shahrukh Khan came to know about it and then Shahrukh tried his level best to make sure his girl ( pretty Zinta ) fell in love with the other guy ( Saif Ali Khan ) and they will live happily because Shahrukh was going to die sooner or later.

He sacrifices his love for the happiness of the girl he loved so much.

The movie has many emotional scenes, all the scenes are worth watching and I am sure when you are going to watch this movie, you are also going to cry like me.

I am not a strong person, when I see something related to my mother or any mother's emotional scene I begin to cry, that is the reason I prefer to watch movies or dramas alone :D

People make fun of you :D hahah kidding. I am still in love with those movies and I still remember each and every scene of the movie.

I have watched this movie many times and I am going to watch it with my wife in the future too.

If you want to spend some quality time alone or with your family, you must watch this movie, it is an old movie released in 2003, it may not have thrill or romance in it, but the story is toucy and worth watching.

Enjoy !!!

Take Care Everyone.

I must say this was a short review but deep, from the way you reviewed it, it got me emotional already and got me pondering why are some sickness without treatment? At least the Shahrukh guy would have treated himself and continue to love the pretty Zinta.

he went to the doctors, doctors told him that he is not going to live longer, that's is why he choosed some other good guy for the girl he loved.

avatar

Hehe. I guess your cousin knows you well and he knows that the movie will make you cry so he goes to prepares it and place it on his computer.

avatar

he was also a shahrukh fan as i am now after watching shahrukh movies.

avatar

Oh! I see. have fun watching their films.

Instead of making himself on priority, shah rukh Khan sacrifices his love feelings for that girl. Actually that's what is actually LOVE. I have watched this movie and I must say that old movies were always the best one.

avatar

yes, he wanted best for the girl he loved so much, he couldn't be with her all her life, instead he found a good guy and married her with him, so that he can die peacefully.

Hello friend, your review has made it very clear to me about the type of films you are talking about, I have seen some with that genre and with a similar plot, I can say that they are very beautiful films that honestly they make you cry , I like them a lot too, that's why I'll try to see the one you review in your post. Greetings
