La momie - 2017 - Avec Tom Cruise

Mon corps réclame plus de temps de repos, j'en profite pour voir et revoir certains films et j'en fais une critique personnelle...

Synopsis

Deux militaires chassent les trésors en Irak au lieu de faire leur mission, apparemment prêts à tout pour dénicher des objets précieux à revendre au marché noir. Quand, dépassés par l'ennemi, ils doivent faire appel à une frappe aérienne, qui met au jour une tombe Égyptienne, enfin une tombe, cela semble être bien plus funeste que cela...

Distribution

De bons acteurs qui n'ont pas froid aux yeux pour des cascades et effets de grands spectacles...

Mon avis

J'ai vu la saga La Momie avec Brendan Fraser, et j'avoue préférer la version où l'humour prévaut sur l'horreur, cela reste néanmoins un fort bon film.

Ici le scénario tape plus sur le côté sombre et maudit, par contre ils ont également opté pour filmer énormément de scènes dans des endroits bien trop sombres, du coup, pour ne pas trop manquer des détails de scènes, j'ai du fermer les volets pour éviter tout reflets sur la télévision parfois presque entièrement noire.

L'histoire respecte ce à quoi on s'attend, les acteurs sont bons, les effets quand on les voit sont réussis aussi. Mais je suppose que le succès n'était pas tout à fait au rendez-vous, car la fin montre clairement une envie d'en faire quelque chose qui pourrait perdurer, voire même en faire un super héro pour un spin-off, et pourtant, plusieurs années après, on ne voit rien venir... A moins que je n'ai raté quelque chose?

Je mettrai 6/10 à cause des difficultés à voir bon nombre de scènes tellement il fait sombre...
