In this story of mystery and suspense, we follow Liberty, an intelligent and curious young woman who returns home to discover that her mother has a new partner, John, an attractive and much younger man, a charming and mysterious man who arouses her suspicions and fears.

As Liberty begins to unravel John's hidden secrets and his true nature, she becomes entangled in a web of deceit, manipulation, and danger that threatens to destroy her life and her mother's.
