Belle is an independent and self-confident woman who dreams of becoming a professional racing driver. However, her job as a cab driver is what allows her to make a living and maintain her lifestyle in the bustling city.
On the other hand, Jimmy Fallon's character, police officer Andy Washburn, is a young, bumbling cop who is determined to prove himself in the department.
Andy is a bit of a klutz and lacks the necessary skills to solve the cases that come his way, which leads him to be teased by his peers. His life takes an unexpected turn when he encounters Belle and her cab.

The story unfolds when a series of bank robberies are perpetrated by a gang of criminals led by a cunning thief called “The Masked Man”.
Andy, in his quest to catch the criminals, realizes that he needs the help of Belle and her cab in order to track them down. Despite their differences, Belle and Andy form an unconventional team, and together they embark on a series of thrilling chases through the streets of New York.
As the plot progresses, the chemistry between Belle and Andy develops, and the two characters learn to trust each other.

The french version is one of my favorite comedies ever, although this remake is pretty good.
