"Sliders" is a science fiction series that aired from 1995 to 2000. The plot follows a group of characters who travel between parallel dimensions using a device called a "slider".
Their goal is to find their way back to their own dimension, but as expected, things get complicated in each new world they reach.
The series was created by Tracy Tormé and Robert K. Weiss, and featured a changing cast throughout its five seasons.

The main characters include Quinn Mallory, played by Jerry O'Connell, who is the inventor of the slider; Wade Wells, played by Sabrina Lloyd, who is the group's computer expert; Rembrandt Brown, played by Cleavant Derricks, an R&B singer caught up in the journey; and later joined by Maggie Beckett, played by Kari Wuhrer.
"Sliders" had an interesting premise, but as the series progressed, the quality declined and it became increasingly confusing and disappointing.
By the end, it became difficult to distinguish between the different dimensions and follow the main plot.
During its first few seasons, "had a good audience and managed to capture the attention of science fiction fans. However, as the series progressed and the plot became more confusing, the audience began to decline.

This really was a good series. The problem is syndication and the wrong people running things behind the scenes. If fans could get their hands on these shows and take over maybe we could do things better by keeping them true to the storyline.
