This is a science fiction/comedy film directed by Timo Vuorensola.
The plot is set in an alternate world where the Nazis, after their defeat in World War II, have taken refuge on the moon, where they have established a secret base known as the ‘Luna Reich’.
For decades, they have been developing advanced technology with the intention of returning to Earth and conquering it.
The story begins in the year 2018, when a NASA space mission, which aims to explore the Moon, encounters the Nazi base. American astronaut James Washington, played by Christopher Kirby, is sent to the moon as part of this mission.
However, after an encounter with the Nazis, he is captured and taken to the moon base. There, he learns of the Nazis' plans to invade Earth and establish a new regime.
Meanwhile, the leader of the lunar regime, the Luftwaffe commander, is played by Udo Kier, who seeks to use a new weapon of mass destruction to carry out his invasion.
As the story progresses, Washington manages to escape and joins a group of rebels seeking to stop the Nazi threat.

Through its distinctive visual style and special effects, the film becomes a critique of Nazi ideology and obsession with technology.
Its mix of genres and its social criticism have made it stand out on the contemporary film scene.
In 2020, a sequel entitled ‘Iron Sky: The Coming Race’ was released, which continues the story and explores new adventures in this alternate universe.
