Addams Family Values
La segunda película de la Familia Addams en el año 1993 siempre será una de mis favoritas, porque dentro de un género de comedia bastante oscuro, representa realmente valores familiar dignos de admirar, hay que entender que en el arte hay una forma y un fondo, la forma representa los externo por así decirlo, mientras que el fondo es el contenido subyacente, el significado de la obra y para mi esta película tiene un fondo hermoso, por mas diferentes y extrañas que puedan ser la familias dentro de su entorno más intimo, siempre que los valores como el amor y el entendimiento , la solidaridad, la honestidad y la empatía estén presentes, cada familia es en sí misma un tesoro para sus miembros.
The second Addams Family movie in 1993 will always be one of my favorites, because within a fairly dark comedy genre, it really represents family values worthy of admiration, we must understand that in art there is a form and a background, The form represents the external so to speak, while the background is the underlying content, the meaning of the work and for me this film has a beautiful background, no matter how different and strange the families may be within their most intimate environment, As long as values such as love and understanding, solidarity, honesty and empathy are present, each family is in itself a treasure for its members.
En primer lugar la pareja de Gómez con Morticia es el sueño de cualquiera, se aman apasionadamente cada día y a pesar de tener hijos no han perdido en ningún momento esa chispa de pareja, asumen de manera conjunta las responsabilidades que tienen como padres, aunque en la trama llegan a ser manipulados por la niñera quien los hace creer que los niños desean asistir a un campamento, hay que entender que la preocupación de los padres y la búsqueda de lo que es mejor para sus hijos es lo principal para ellos , aunque por ser una comedia obviamente ellos se equivocaron al no escuchar primero a sus hijos, al final se entiende que aprendieron la lección y siempre serán buenos padres.
First of all, Gómez's couple with Morticia is everyone's dream, they love each other passionately every day and despite having children they have never lost that spark of a couple, they jointly assume the responsibilities they have as parents, although in the plot they come to be manipulated by the nanny who makes them believe that the children want to attend a camp, it must be understood that the parents' concern and the search for what is best for their children is the main thing for them, although because it is a comedy obviously they made a mistake by not listening to their children first, in the end it is understood that they learned their lesson and will always be good parents.
Me parece muy importante destacar que la familia Addams es amplia, es decir, la pareja con hijos viven con la abuela y el tío, además tienen contacto frecuente en reuniones sociales con primos y otros familiares, que por razones obvias son igual de extraños que ellos pero que al fin y al cabo son miembros de una familia que se quiere mucho, además ellos conservan bien el legado de sus antecesores e historia familiar, como por ejemplo cuando Wednesday ( Merlina) en la escuela hace un trabajo inspirado en una mujer de la familia que vivió hace muchos años, por muy extrañas que parezcan las costumbres de la familia Addams ellos sienten un gran orgullo de sus raíces.
I think it is very important to highlight that the Addams family is large, that is, the couple with children live with their grandmother and uncle, and they also have frequent contact at social gatherings with cousins and other relatives, who for obvious reasons are just as strange as they are. but at the end of the day they are members of a family that loves each other very much, and they also preserve well the legacy of their ancestors and family history, such as when Wednesday (Merlina) at school does a project inspired by a woman from the family that lived many years ago, no matter how strange the customs of the Addams family may seem, they feel great pride in their roots.
Además gran parte de esta película se trata del hermano de Gómez, es decir el tío Lucas (Fester), el cual es seducido por la niñera de la familia la cual es una asesina en serie que intenta quedarse con la fortuna familiar, en esta parte vemos como Gómez sufre por el alejamiento de sí hermano. La familia entera es afectada por la decisión del tío de permanecer al lado de malvada mujer, sin embargo, también observamos como al final de cuenta Gómez decide respetar la decisión de su hermano dándole su espacio, pero afortunadamente después de varios intentos de homicidio por parte de Debbie la esposa del tío, este decide finalmente reaccionar y alejarse de la mujer que lo ha alejado de su familia, en realidad muchas cosas graciosas suceden en ese trance, pero lo importante es como la familia se une en contra de lo que considera que está mal y logran vencer a Debbie.
Furthermore, a large part of this film is about Gómez's brother, that is, Uncle Lucas (Fester), who is seduced by the family nanny who is a serial killer who tries to keep the family fortune, in this part We see how Gómez suffers from the distance from his brother. The entire family is affected by the uncle's decision to stay by the evil woman's side, however, we also observe how in the end Gómez decides to respect his brother's decision by giving him his space, but fortunately after several murder attempts by of Debbie, the uncle's wife, he finally decides to react and get away from the woman who has taken him away from his family. In reality, many funny things happen in that situation, but the important thing is how the family unites against what they consider to be is wrong and they manage to beat Debbie.
Creo que lo más importante a destacar es que a veces la familias pueden muy excéntricas, pero siempre que se mantengan unidas pueden construir hogares armoniosos donde sus miembros se sientan amados y protegidos, para mi la familia Addams es una de las mejores.
I think the most important thing to highlight is that sometimes families can be very eccentric, but as long as they stay together they can build harmonious homes where their members feel loved and protected. For me, the Addams family is one of the best.
