Review Serie: A Family of Police (Bluee Boods) [ENG|ESP]

As a #tbt, let's travel back in time, you know that I love to remember all those series, that were good at the time, and as there was nothing else, on TV, you stayed there hooked, waiting to see each chapter, didn't it happen to you?

Como un #tbt, vamos a viajar en el tiempo, saben que a mí me encanta recordar todas esas series, que fueron buenas en su momento, y al no haber más nada, en la televisión, te mantenías allí enganchado, pendiente de ver cada capítulo, ¿no les pasaba?

Some time ago, I came across this series again, I remember when I started watching it on TV, I know I didn't watch it from the first chapter, and I didn't finish it completely, but I still didn't miss it, every time they showed it, I enjoyed some chapter.

Blue Bloods, is the name of this series, which as the title indicates, is about a family of policemen of several generations, headed by the father, Frank Reagan, who is the commissioner, followed by his two sons, and the only woman, who works in the prosecutor's office.

The whole family, within this environment, find a way to stay together, not to lose their traditions, to live together, despite their differences, always remembering that it is just one more case, but they will always be a family.

Hace un tiempo, me topé de nuevo con esta serie, recuerdo cuando empecé a verla por TV, sé que no la vi desde el primer capítulo, y no la termine del todo, pero igual no me la perdía, cada vez que la pasaban, disfrutaba de algún capítulo.

Familia de Policías (Blue Bloods), es el nombre de esta serie, la cual como bien lo indica el título, se trata de una familia de policías de varias generaciones, encabezada por el padre, Frank Reagan, el cual es el comisionado, seguidamente por sus dos hijos varones, y la única mujer, que trabaja en la fiscalía.

Toda esta familia, dentro de este ámbito, encuentran la manera de seguir unidos, no perder sus tradiciones, convivir juntos, a pesar de sus diferencias, siempre recuerdan, que es solo un caso más, pero ellos siempre serán una familia.

Plots

The fight against crime, and justice, are the basis of this story, find that margin, enforce the laws of the city, without losing judgment, or control, but above all, governed by honesty, truthfulness and loyalty, this series shows us the value of truth, enforcing the rules, the sense of duty, certainly a series that makes you reflect and think, if this were handled so in real life, everything would be better, there would not be so much violence, crime, or at least, everyone would pay for their crimes.

Another thing that we also see in this series is that it was not a dysfunctional family, even though they all had their differences, their opinions, they did not fall into great conflicts, they remained united, and something that characterized them, were those family meals, where they all sat down, they gave their comments, ideas, political, economic, personal discussions, always in a respectable and pleasant way.

I think it is one of the most entertaining parts of this series, at least for me, to listen to their family stories, while they enjoy that family sharing, those moments of exchange of ideas, opinions, thoughts, with their experiences, their experiences, knowledge, is something that this series reflects in each chapter.

Argumentos

La lucha contra el crimen, y la justicia, son la base de esta historia, encontrar ese margen, hacer cumplir las leyes de la ciudad, sin perder el juicio, ni el control, pero sobre todo, rigiéndose por la honestidad, veracidad y lealtad; esta serie nos muestra el valor de la verdad, el hacer valer las reglas, el sentido del deber, sin duda una serie que te hace reflexionar y pensar, que si esto se manejara asi en la vida real, todo sería mejor, no existiría tanta violencia, delincuencia, o por lo menos, cada uno pagaría por sus delitos.

Otra cosa, que tambien vemos en esta serie, es que no era una familia disfuncional, a pesar de que todos tenian sus diferencias, sus opiniones, no caian en grandes conflictos, se mantenian unidos, y algo que los carecterizaba, eran esas comidas familiares, donde todos se sentaban, emitian sus comentarios, ideas, discusiones politicas, economicas, personales, siempre de una forma respetable y amena.

Creo que es una de las partes más entretenidas de esta serie, por lo menos para mí, escuchar sus historias familiares, mientras disfrutan de ese compartir en familia, de esos momentos de cambio de ideas, opiniones, pensamientos, con sus vivencias, sus experiencias, conocimientos, es algo que esta serie, nos refleja en cada capítulo.

Let's talk about the characters

Among the characters, each one represents a unique and special role, among them is the grandfather Henry Reagan (Len Cariou), the commissioner's father, a cultured man, serene, kind, very eloquent, with his anecdotes, experience, always has something to contribute.

Frank Reagan (Tom Selleck), a serious man, correct, kind, supportive, always looking after the welfare of his family, and his city, ensuring the safety and compliance with the laws, he is the boss, at home and at work, since his children had to obey them, respecting their rank; this actor represented very well this role, his character and serenity, which reflected before any event that arose in each episode.

Hablemos de los Personajes

Entre los personajes, cada uno representa un papel único y especial, entre ellos está el abuelo Henry Reagan (Len Cariou), el padre del comisionado, un hombre culto, sereno, amable, muy elocuente, con sus anécdotas, experiencia, siempre tiene algo que aportar.

Frank Reagan (Tom Selleck), un hombre serio, correcto, amable, solidario, siempre pendiente del bienestar de su familia, y de su ciudad, velando por la seguridad y cumplimiento de las leyes, él es el jefe, de la casa y en el trabajo, puesto que sus hijos debían obedecerlos, respetando su rango; este actor representaba muy bien este papel, su carácter y serenidad, que reflejaba ante cualquier evento que se presentaba, en cada episodio.

On the other hand, there are his three children, Danny, Jamie and Erin, although in reality, there were four, but at the beginning of the series, shows us the loss of a son, a great loss for him, since he died exercising his work as a policeman.

This is the strongest part of this job, since every day they have to go out to the street, putting their lives at risk, while catching criminals, gangsters, or murderers, from there they create enemies, where somehow also would be at risk the safety of his family.

Por otro lado, están sus tres hijos, Danny, Jamie y Erin, aunque en realidad, eran cuatro, pero al inicio de la serie, nos muestra la perdida de un hijo, una gran perdida para él, puesto que murió ejerciendo su trabajo como policía.

Esta es la parte más fuerte de este trabajo, puesto que todos los días deben salir a la calle, a cumplirlo, poniendo en riesgo su vida, mientras atrapan delincuentes, mafiosos, o asesinos, de allí se crean enemigos, donde de alguna forma también estaría en riesgo la seguridad de su familia.

A series that covers much to think and reflect, entertaining, eloquent, showing us as I mentioned, the sense of duty, honour, loyalty, family unity are our pillars, in which each character contributes something, with their work, their way of facing the different eventualities of everyday life, either from the street, behind a desk or court, but always looking for ways to enforce the law.

If you have not seen it, I recommend it, this series consists of 13 seasons, premiered in 2010, is one of those series that are worth watching again and remember.

Una serie que abarca mucho que pensar y reflexionar, entretenida, elocuente, mostrándonos como mencione, el sentido del deber, el honor, la lealtad, la unión familiar son nuestros pilares, en el que cada personaje aporta algo, con su trabajo, su forma de enfrentar las diferentes eventualidades del día a día, ya sea desde la calle, tras un escritorio o juzgado, pero siempre buscando la manera de hacer cumplir la ley.
