Review: FROM 🎥 / Esp-Eng
A new, unknown, mysterious place, and without being able to escape or get out of there, how would you feel? How would you react? What would you do?.
We find ourselves with another typical story, where a group of people are trapped in an indescribable place, without knowing what happens, how they got there; therefore they find themselves in a situation where they must try to survive and get out of that place, facing all kinds of hidden eventualities.
I recently saw the review of this series, and I was curious, since it made reference to its resemblance to another series called LOST, sure there will be mixed opinions, I'm not saying it was the best, some of us were stung with its ending, but well, anyway, I wanted to see what this new version was about.
And I say new version, because yes, somehow it has a certain resemblance to Lost, in it we saw how these people were trapped on an island, when their plane crashed, and since then, they began to live a series of inexplicable events.
Well, in this part, we find FROM, even the name is similar, so short, and concise, as you can notice, in short, in the same, we will see again, another group of people, that while traveling through a small town, they find no way out, being trapped in it, they only have to try to coexist among them, facing a series of threats that will put their lives at risk.
I must admit that when I saw the first chapter, I was somewhat intrigued, so I wanted to continue watching it, it is a series that covers a little bit of everything, with some horror, suspense, action, mystery; if you like this kind of story, where nothing is what it seems, and everything is confusing, you should watch it.
Here everything is an enigma, you feel that you are understanding, but then you realize that there is still more to see, yes in the style of Lost, no doubt, I guess that's the idea, to keep you there, intrigued, thinking, how they will get out of there, what other eventuality, they will have to face, but above all what is the mystery that encompasses this town.
From is an interesting series, where once again we see how a group of people who have nothing in common, but still must come together, to survive, to get ahead, and somehow to understand how they got to that place, and what mystery it hides.
The director of this film, you can see that he likes to play with this type of events, since he is the same one who created LOST, therefore, when watching this series, we see the connection and some similarities, between unsolved mysteries, a story with a past to tell, a mixture of elements, which in itself intrigue, and keep you there, waiting to see how it continues.
Among the characters, all contribute something, with their different actions, we have the one who always seeks to draw more attention, the one who knows what is happening, but does not say it, the one who is in charge of maintaining order, with the sole purpose of helping and getting everyone out of that mysterious place.
They all have a past, a story to tell, and have suffered a loss, even so, they manage to continue, because they have no other alternative, or they surrender or face whatever is happening in that place, and seek to get out of there.
It is certainly a series that entertains, with its mysteries, intrigue, full of emotions, I do not say it is one of the best, because I did not think so, but still, it is worth watching, all to see how this story continues, full of fiction, drama, terror and mystery.
At the moment there are only two seasons, we will have to wait how they will continue with this saga, what other eventualities will have to face the protagonists of this story, and how they will continue to maintain the attention of the same.

Un lugar nuevo, desconocido, misterioso, y sin poder escapar ni salir de allí, ¿Cómo te sentirías? ¿Cómo reaccionarias? ¿Qué harías?.
Nos encontramos con otra típica historia, donde un grupo de personas se encuentran atrapadas en un sitio indescriptible, sin saber qué sucede, como llegaron hasta allí; por ende se encuentran en una situación en el que deben buscar sobrevivir y salir de ese lugar, enfrentando todo tipo de eventualidades ocultas.
Hace poco vi la reseña de esta serie, y me dio curiosidad, puesto que hacía referencia a su parecido a otra serie denominada LOST, seguro habrá opiniones encontradas, no digo que fue la mejor, algunos quedamos picados con su final, pero bueno, de igual forma, quise ver que se trataba esta nueva versión.
Y digo nueva versión, porque si, de alguna forma tiene un cierto parecido a Lost, en ella vimos como estas personas quedaron atrapadas en una isla, al caer su avión, y como desde ese entonces, empezaron a vivir una serie de sucesos inexplicables.
Pues bien, en esta parte, nos encontramos a FROM, hasta el nombre se parece, por lo corto, y conciso, como pueden notar, en fin, en la misma, veremos nuevamente, otro grupo de personas, que al transitar por un pequeño pueblo, se encuentran sin salida, quedando atrapados en ella, solo les queda buscar convivir entre ellos, enfrentando una serie de amenazas que podrán en riesgo sus vidas.
Debo admitir que al ver el primer capítulo, quede algo intrigada, por eso quise continuar viéndola, es una serie que abarca de todo un poco, con algo de terror, suspenso, acción, misterio; si te gusta este tipo de historia, donde nada es lo que parece, y todo es confuso, debes mirarla.
Aquí todo es un enigma, sientes que vas entendiendo, pero luego te das cuenta de que aún falta más por ver, si al estilo de Lost, sin duda alguna, supongo que esa es la idea, mantenerte allí, intrigado, pensando, como lograran salir de allí, que otra eventualidad, deberán enfrentar, pero sobre todo cuál es el misterio que abarca este pueblo.
From es una interesante serie, donde una vez más vemos como se reúne un grupo de personas que no tienen en nada en común, pero que aun asi deben unirse, para sobrevivir, salir adelante, y de alguna manera poder entender como llegaron a ese lugar, y qué misterio esconde.
El director de este film, se ve que le gusta jugar con este tipo de sucesos, puesto que es el mismo que creo LOST, por ende, al mirar esta serie, vemos la conexión y algunas similitudes, entre misterios sin resolver, una historia con un pasado que contar, una mezcla de elementos, que de por sí intrigan, y te mantienen allí, esperando ver como continúa.
Entre los personajes, todos aportan algo, con sus diferentes acciones, tenemos el que siempre busca llamar más la atención, el que sabe que sucede, pero no lo dice, el que se encarga de mantener el orden, con el único objetivo de ayudar y sacar a todos de ese misterioso lugar.
Todos tienen un pasado, una historia que contar, y han sufrido una perdida, aun asi, logran seguir, porque no tienen otra alternativa, o se rinden o enfrentan lo que sea que esté pasando en ese lugar, y buscan salir de allí.
Sin duda es una serie que entretiene, con sus misterios, intriga, llena de emociones, no digo que sea una de las mejores, porque no me lo pareció, pero de igual forma, vale la pena verla, todo para saber como continúa esta historia, llena de ficción, drama, terror y misterio.
Por los momentos solo van dos temporadas, habrá que esperar como continuaran con esta saga, que otras eventualidades tendrán que enfrentar los protagonistas de esta historia, y como seguirán manteniendo la atención de la misma.

Tengo algún tiempo sin ver series, estoy buscando una pero estas características me agradan, algo de supervivencia, misterio e intriga, si bien dices que no es de lo mejor que se puede ver mencionas que vale la pena.

Bueno, vi el trailer después de leer tu post y me atrapó, no sabia de esta serie. Aunque al ver que es del mismo director que hizo Lost no lo sé Rick.. Eso no me inspira entusiasmo para verla, es porque Lost empezó muy pero muy bien, ese misterio, esa trama, la historia, todo fino y se complicaba en cada capítulo que daban, y que le hacía preguntarse al espectador cómo va a terminar esto? para que al final acabara así..
La decepción hermano
Entonces Lost me decepcionó con su final pero también me llevé una decepción con el final de Guerra de Tronos, sin embargo hasta el sol de hoy sigo siendo fan de esta segunda serie y creo que vale la pena verla no solo una vez sino varias veces.
Mi pregunta para ti seria, vale la pena verla? crees que me decepcionará como lo hizo lost? o vale la pena verla como Juego de Tronos?
