Review: A story beyond reality /Flamin Hot [ENG|ESP]

These motivational, inspirational stories, based on real events, are definitely worth watching, as they show you that other side of the world, where if you believe in yourself, in what you offer, you can achieve great things, but at the same time it makes you wonder, Does this only happen on TV or in real life? How true is all this?

Esas historias motivadoras, inspiradoras, basadas en hechos reales, son las que sin duda valen la pena ver, ya que te enseña ese otro lado del mundo, donde si tú crees en ti mismo, en lo que ofreces, puedes lograr grandes cosas, pero a su vez te hace preguntarte, ¿esto solo sucede en la televisión o en la vida real? ¿Qué tan cierto es todo esto?

A few days ago I saw some scenes from this movie, and I got curious, so I looked it up, and I told my mum to watch it, it's called FLAMIN HOT: The History of the Spicy Cheetos, and it shows us the perseverance, and the work of a man to fulfill his dreams.

This story is based on the life of a man, Richard Montañez, a Mexican immigrant, from a humble family, in search of his American dream, and live well, support his family, although his clothes, left much to think, therefore it cost him to be accepted in a good job, even so he managed to enter the factory of Frito Lay; However, the company was being affected by the economic crisis, many layoffs, many closures, at that time he came up with an idea, which would revolutionize the market, and help everyone to keep their jobs.

But Waoo, wait for it, a man with a brilliant idea, surprises everyone, manages to talk to one of the heavyweights of the company, convinces him of his product, they take it to the market, and creates a great revolution with this, something hard to believe, but yes, it was, or is what they show us in this film.

Hace unos días vi algunas escenas de esta película, y me dio curiosidad, asi que la busque, y le dije a mi mamá para verla, se llama FLAMIN HOT: La Historia de los Cheetos Picantes, y nos muestra la perseverancia, y el trabajo de un hombre por cumplir sus sueños.

Esta historia se basa en la vida de un hombre, Richard Montañez, un inmigrante mexicano, proveniente de una familia humilde, en busca de su sueño americano, y vivir bien, mantener a su familia, aunque su vestimenta, dejaba mucho que pensar, por ende le costó que lo aceptaran en un buen trabajo, aun asi logro entrar en la fábrica de Frito Lay; sin embargo, la empresa estaba viéndose afectada por la crisis económica, muchos despidos, muchos cierres, en ese entonces se le ocurrió una idea, qué revolucionaria el mercado, y ayudaría a todos a conservar sus empleos.

Pero Waoo, espérense allí, un hombre con una idea brillante, sorprende a todos, logra hablar con unos de los pesos pesados de la empresa, lo convence de su producto, lo llevan al mercado, y crea una gran revolución con esto, algo difícil de creer, pero si, asi fue, o es lo que nos muestran en esta película.

This is where you say, this only happens in the movies, on television, bringing a product to market is not that easy, everything takes time, you may think it is the best, some may believe in you, but from there to a businessman, a recognised company approving it, and daring to sell it, is another story, it is like a miracle, but it says it well, you have to be visionary, risk losing or winning, no doubt, this man was very lucky.

The story is beautiful, you can't deny it, as I mentioned, it is inspiring, it makes you see that you only need someone who believes in you, who gives you that little push you need to dare to do something, because here we see how this man had two important people, to achieve his dream, in the film you will see it.

Another of the things that we know influences the launch of a product, is good marketing, and not all of us know how to do it, to execute it, for that you have to have a good charisma, energy, creativity, to be able to have that contact with the public, with the clients, you must know their needs, to find a solution, and that is where the real work begins, to get them to believe in you, in what you offer them.

Aquí es donde uno dice, esto solo sucede en las películas, en la televisión, sacar un producto al mercado, no es asi de fácil, todo lleva su tiempo, tú puedes pensar que es el mejor, algunos pueden creer en ti, pero de allí a que un empresario, una empresa reconocida lo apruebe, y se atreva a venderlo, es otra historia, es como un milagro, pero bien lo dice, hay que ser visionarios, arriesgarse a perder o ganar, sin duda, este hombre corrió con mucha suerte.

La historia es bonita, no se le puede negar, como mencione, es inspiradora, te hace ver que solo necesitas de alguien que crea en ti, que te dé ese empujoncito que tanto necesitas para atreverte hacer algo, porque aquí vemos como este hombre contó con dos personas importantes, para lograr su sueño, en la película lo verán.

Otras de las cosas que bien sabemos influye en el lanzamiento de un producto, es un buen marketing, y no todos sabemos hacerlo, ejecutarlo, para ello hay que tener un buen carisma, energía, creatividad, el poder tener ese contacto con el público, con los clientes, debes conocer sus necesidades, para asi, dar con una solución, y es allí, donde empieza el verdadero trabajo, lograr que ellos crean en ti, en lo que les ofreces.

More than an inspiring story, it is something that makes you think, if life were that easy, if you could get things overnight, there would be many entrepreneurs, with tremendous businesses, many jobs, all producing, definitely, the world would be another, but we know the reality, and how it is everything, what it costs to generate a business, to invest, to achieve positioning, all this requires effort, work, dedication, but above all perseverance.

Curious Fact:

As a curious fact, I share with you that this film was directed by the famous actress Eva Longoria, I think it is the first one she directs, I'm not sure, but it caught my attention, no doubt she did a good job, showing what they wanted, with a cliche touch to the Mexican, comic and simple, but still attracts and entertains.

Más que una historia inspiradora, es algo que te hace pensar, si la vida fuera asi de fácil, si conseguir las cosas de la noche a la mañana, existirían muchos emprendedores, con tremendos negocios, muchos empleos, todos produciendo, definitivamente, el mundo sería otro, pero bien sabemos la realidad, y como es todo, lo que cuesta generar un negocio, el invertir, el lograr posicionarte, todo ello requiere esfuerzo, trabajo, dedicación, pero sobre todo constancia.

Dato Curioso:

Como un dato curioso, les comparto que esta película fue dirigida por la famosa actriz Eva Longoria, creo que es la primera que dirige, no estoy segura, pero me llamo la atención, no cabe duda hizo un buen trabajo, mostrando lo que querían, con un toque cliché a lo mexicano, cómico y sencillo, pero igual atrae y entretiene.
